Authors Note

Next to each race name I will put the culture they most reflect so that the readers have a point to base these charachters and races off of. 

Estranian [European, British]

Native to Estrana in Losmal. This race is the original monarchy of Losmal. They have gems that naturally grow from their bodies. Typically on either heads or their stomachs. It's typical for them to ordain their gems with jewelry. Because of their ability to capture life essence in gems, for a long time, the same people would be put back into the monarchy until it was outlawed. They come in most shades of skin color, what identifies them is the gem in their head. 

Prawanian [African]

Identified by black skin, and white dots that cover their bodies that resemble stars. They are sometimes referred to as Galaxies. The derogatory term for them would be splatters. They usually grow horns from their heads that absorb heat, and typically have white hair. They were once used as slaves by many countries but thus since won independence. 

Horisans [Mermaids]

Like mermaids of fairy tales, these people live completely in water. This species is an after effect of the Overthrowing, that happened at the beginning of Eswon history. Now they are a race that lives throughout a decent part of the world. Originating from the Horis river. They often change appearance naturally, to their climate. Unlike mermaids, there is a bad annotation that comes with Horisans because of their historical origin. Also unlike mermaids, Horisans do breathe air. 

Walaeain [Middle Eastern] 

From the small island off the shore of Prawana. Walaeain's have the white dots on their skin but unlike Prawanians their skin is not black, but deep tones of browns. They also rarely have horns. They are more nomadic in nature and have no designated home. They are more serious in their religion. 

Zitrites & Yareeqs [Madagascar and Jamacan] 

Despite being Prawanian, these people do not have the splattered white splotches. Instead, they have thick white patches that mix in with deep brown or black skin. Their hair commonly comes in shades of blue or white. Some are born with horns and some aren't. Their derogatory name is dalmation because like Vitiligo the white spots begin to appear after birth. 

Rascoran [Russian] 

Rascoran's are often extremely pale, they have thick white hair that naturally dreads. They are typically adorned with Runes that provide either cold resistance or warmth. Their ears extremely pointed to the point of sticking directly from the sides of their ears. It is common for their eyeball to appear all one color. Most also have small bumps on their face, made naturally by their bodies. 

Frellac [French]

These people come in every shape and size, the only difference is that their skin also comes in a very wide array of colors. They are the only people in the Speculo with the type of color variations. It is a custom for them to adorn horns that are not real. The skin color is actually a spell unique to only Frellac. 

Kaprian [Asia] 

They look traditionally oriental. The only difference is that each is blessed with a third eye. Typically in the forehead, but it can be found a numerous amount of places including the neck and the mouth. Kaprians make an attempt to keep their third eye covered at all times. These third eyes are able to either see a numerous amount of things including the magic around them, including the strength of aurous and invisible magical threads. Some third eyes are able to see the bonds that tie people together, some are able to see the trail of danger. It is all very diverse and hard to figure out until the Kaprian is older. 

Caoin [Banshee]

Originally from Flann (Ireland), these banshee-like creatures were cast out from Losmal. They often can be mistaken for seaweed, these people have long winding tales that can constrict pray easily. Caoin's forms vary from place to place, there can be a completely stark differences between creatures of the same race. Caoin's have gentle singing voices but with no true magical property. Their magic is in a debilitating cry, meant to stop prey. Their current location is the very depths of the Horison river and bodies of water all over Speculo. They are known to be a constant menace to Horisan civilizations and people.
