(Three days later)

Y/N's P.O.V

So after three days we finally have a party to celebrate and blow off some steam.

As I walk around I see a lot of people. I see some fellow heroes such as Falcon, Warmachine, I see some WW2 veterans there and some other random people I've never met before.

Zach also showed up as I invited him along with Maya.

I've just finished telling Zach about the fight in Sokavia.

Zach: Sounds like a hell of a fight, I'm sorry I missed it.

Y/N: Buddy, if I had known it was gonna be a fire fight I absolutely would have called you.

He chuckles.

Zach: I'm not actually sorry, I'm just trying to sound tough. Averaging is your world, and your world is crazy.

I smile.

Y/N: That it is brother, that it is.

We stop and look over the party from the floor above. As we do we see Natasha and Maya talking on the couch.

Zach: So, you and Nat still haven't told the other's about you two?

Y/N: Nah. Well, Nat told Clint yesterday as he's pretty much her best friend. But other than him no-one else knows.

Zach: I don't get why you don't tell them?

Y/N: Because we want to wait for the right time, and we're worried we might have to break-up because of the whole teammates not be allowed to date thing. We just want to wait for the right time.

Zach: Yeah, I get that. Just remember. The longer you keep it a secret, the harder it will be to tell everyone.

I nod.

Y/N: Yeah, I know.

Zach pats me on the shoulder and walks back into the party.

(Two hours later)

As the party starts to wind down a bit I go over to Nat as she's behind the bar making a drink.

Natasha: Hey there handsome.

Y/N: Hi, so, how'd a beautiful girl like you end up working in a dump like this?

Natasha: A fella done me wrong.

Y/N: You got a crappy taste in men sweetheart.

Natasha: He's not so bad. He's tough, but he's also got a soft side.

Y/N: Is that right?

Natasha: Yep. The fact is he isn't like any man I've ever known. He's a fighter, but when he fights with his anger it makes him feel a bit dirty I guess you could say. But for me it's not. It actually turns me on when he fights with his anger.

I smile.

Y/N: Wow, sounds amazing.

Natasha: He's also a nerd.

I look down.

Natasha: Chicks dig that.

I smile again.

Natasha: Honesty it's taking every I have in me right now not to take him to my room and bang his brains out. So should I fight this urge or go with it?

My eyes widen.

Y/N: Well, I think you should go with it. Definitely go with it.

Natasha: Well I'm glad you said that.

She leans in a whipsers into my ear.

Natasha: Because I'm gonna ride you so good tonight, that you'll have trouble walking tomorrow.

She then walks away leaving me to contemplate all of that.

Y/N: (Whispers) Wow.

Steve: That's nice.

I turn and see Steve standing there.

Steve: You and Romanoff.

I then realise that it's over and the truth needs to come out.

Y/N: Look Steve, we wanted to tell you guys, it's just...

Steve: Woah Y/N, it's okay. You two aren't breaking any byelaws. It's just she's not the most open person in the world, but with you she always seems relaxed.

Y/N: Yeah, I guess that's true. She makes me happy Cap. That's all I can say.

He smiles at me and puts his hand on my shoulder.

Steve: That's good. I'm happy for you, both of you. You both deserve the win.

Y/N: Thanks Steve.

Steve: Of course.

He then walks off and joins the other's, I follow just after.

(One hour later)

After another hour everyone leaves aside from the original Avengers, Hill, Rhodey, Zach, Maya and Dr. Cho.

Natasha and I see on the couch together with my arm around her waist.

We're all listening to Clint talk about the magic of Thor's hammer being fake.

Clint: I bet it's a trick.

Thor: No, no it's much more than that.

Clint: "Oh, whoever shall be worthy shall have the power!!" Whatever man, its a trick.

Thor then jesters to his hammer.

Thor: Well, please be my guest.

Clint: Really.

Clint then gets and walks towards the hammer.

Y/N: Alright Clint you've had a tough week, so we won't hold it against you if you can't get it up.

Everyone laughs at this.

Clint: You know I've seen this before.

After grunting for a minute Clint gives up and starts chuckles to himself.

Clint: I just don't get how you do it.

Tony: Smell of silence judgment.

Clint: Well, please Stark, by all means.

Tony then gets up goes over to the hammer.

Tony: This is all physics. So if I lift this I then rule Asgard?

Thor: Yes, of course.

Tony then trys and fails. He then gets Rhodey and Zach involved and they fail. And with that everyone else in the room aside from Maya and Dr. Cho trys to lift Mjölnir and they all fail.

Steve then gets up for his turn. He then starts lifting.

Y/N: Come on Cap!

As he was lifting I could have sworn it moved a little bit he then gave up.

Thor: (Laughing) Ha. Nothing.

We then all look at Nat.

Bruce: Widow?

Natasha: No, no that's not a question I need answered.

Then everyone looks at me.

Clint: Come on, L/N it's you turn.

I then get up and walk over to the hammer.

Y/N: Alright, let's do this.

I start trying pulling the hammer up and I feel it start to shift. As I keep pulling it starts moving slightly. I then put all of my strength into and the hammer comes off the table and I'm holding it in my hand.

I look down at the hammer and look up at everyone and their eyes were wide open with their jaws dropped, other than Thor and Natasha who were smiling.

Y/N: Why are two smiling?

Thor then stood up and put his hand on my shoulder.

Thor: I always had a feeling you were worthy and, you just confirmed.

Natasha: So hot.

I then smile and throw the hammer up in a flip and catch it.

Y/N: Wow. I gotta say, it lighter than I thought.

I put the Mjölnir back on the table.

Tony: Well, it's safe to say it's rigged.

Clint stands and walks off.

Clint: You bet your ass.

Maria: Steve, he said a bad language word.

Steve looks at me slightly annoyed.

Steve: You told people about that?

I start laughing.

Y/N: Of course I did.

Tony: The handle has a security code. Who ever shall be carrying Thor's finger prints is the literal translation.

Thor: Yes, that's a very interesting theory, but I have a simpler one.

He picks up Mjölnir and catches it.

Thor: The rest of you aren't worthy.

We all start laughing when we hear a loud noise that puts us off.

After a few minutes one of Tony's bot's came out and started talking. It turns out his name is Ultron, he was created by Tony and Bruce and that he plans to destroy the Avengers.

Then out of nowhere more corrupted bots fly out at us.

Steve kicks the table up in the air to block the blasts but he gets knocked back anyway.

After dealing with a few more bot's I see one half broken bot going towards Dr. Cho. I then grab it and throw it.

Y/N: Thor!

Thor then comes in smashing it with his hammer.

Once I turned around I saw Cap throw his shield at the last bot destroying it.

Ultron then goes on to explain that even though the Avengers mean well we apparently don't want the world to change or evolve. And he says the only way to fix that is by killing the Avengers.

Having enough of this I call Thor's hammer towards me and throw it at Ultron destroying his body. Mjölnir then comes back and I catch it.

Y/N: What an asshole.

After the fight with Ultron we head up to the lab to find out what happened.

(Ten minutes later)

After fighting Ultron Zach took Maya home and thr rest of us head up to Tony's lab to figure out what happened.

Bruce: All of our work is gone. Ultron cleared and used the Internet to escape.

Steve: Ultron.

I look up from a computer screen.

Y/N: He's been inside everything. The files, surveillance.

Natasha: Then that means he probably knows more about us then we do about each other.

Y/N: Pretty much. Guys, I've seen Terminator enough times to know, that when the rogue A.I escapes and wants to wipe out humanity. It tends to access things that explode.

Maria: Nuclear codes.

Y/N: Exactly. Nuclear codes.

Rhodey: Right, we need to make some calls, assuming we still can.

Natasha: Nukes? He said he wanted to kills us.

Steve: No he didn't say killed he said "extinct."

Clint: Yeah and he said he killed somebody.

Maria: But there wasn't anyone else in the building.

Tony then walks over.

Tony: Yeah, there was.

He then shows us what's left of Jarvis.

Bruce: Oh my god.

Y/N: Jarvis was the first line of defence. He would have shut Ultron down, it makes sense.

Bruce: No. Ultron could have assimilated Jarvis. This isn't strategy. This was rage.

Tho then came in and grabbed Tony by the throat. But after putting him down he said that Ultron took the sceptre.

Tony then went on to explain that we needed Ultron to deal with a threat like the alien army that came to New York back in 2012.

Tony: Come on guys, we're the Avengers. We can bust arms dealers all day but that up there. That's the endgame. How are we gonna beat that?

Steve: Together.

Tony then looks to Steve.

Tony: We'll lose.

Steve: Then we'll do that together too. Thor's right, Ultron's calling us out and I'd like to find him before he's ready.

Y/N: Steve's right, we need to be ready. The world's a big place, let's start making it smaller.

So we all got to work so we could find Ultron.
