Y/N's P.O.V

As I'm swinging through the city after the team up with Felicia I call up Natasha to update her on the situation.

Y/N: Hey Natasha, did you get anything good of that laptop?

Natasha: I'm still decrypting the data, should have something soon.

Y/N: Okay, well we Hammerhead is holding the boy in a vault. But we don't know where the vault is.

Natasha: Well once I crack these files maybe we can combine my chocolate with your peanut butter. Please do not make a saucy joke out of that.

Y/N: That setup is hard to resist, but I'll hold the sauce. Thanks Nat, let me know what you find.

I then hang up.

After a few more minutes of swinging I land on a roof top and look over the city. I then get another call from Miles.

Miles: Hey Y/N, just calling to let you know I haven't left the house.

Y/N: Glad to hear it buddy, so what's up?

Miles: So I've been listening in on the police scanner at your place. There's crime happening everywhere.

Y/N: Yeah, it's pretty overwhelming huh?

Miles: How do you do it all? I mean you can't be everywhere at once.

Y/N: True, but like my mum used to say "You help someone, you help everyone."

Miles: Yeah, Maya told me about that, but I never really understood what it meant.

Y/N: Okay, so did Maya tell you about that woman that she helped at the F.E.A.S.T Centre during the devil's breath crisis? The one with two kids?

Miles: Yeah, she got evicted from her house right?

Y/N: Yeah, well Maya told me that when that woman found a job and was about to move into her new place she said. "When I get my first paycheck, I'm gonna send as much as I can back to this place."

Miles: So F.E.A.S.T helped her, so she now wants to help others. Helping is like a force multipler.

Y/N: Yeah, I guess so.

Miles: Your mum was pretty amazing wasn't she?

Y/N: Yeah, she was the best. I wish you coulda met her, she would have loved you.

Miles: Yeah me too.

Y/N: Hey, so I'm gonna send you an address as soon as I'm done with all this, so stay, ready. And bring those web shooters with you.

Miles: FINALLY!

He then hangs up.

(The Next day)

The next day I'm at my apartment trying to find any potential new leads, when I get a call from Nat.

Natasha: Y/N, I've finally decrypted that laptop. You know that room sized vault you were talking about? I found a record of it being delivered to a shipyard in Hell's Kitchen.

Y/N: That's gotta be where the kid is. Thanks Nat, great work.

I hang up and then call Felicia.

Felicia: If you're calling at this hour it's either a booty call, or you've got something.

Y/N: I think we've found your son. I'm gonna send you an address, meet me there.

I quickly hang up.

I then go to my wardrobe and pull out my red and black suit.

(Fifteen minutes later)

After suiting up I leave my apartment and make it to the shipyard where the vault is.

Y/N: Natasha nailed it. This place is isolated. You could keep a kid here for weeks without anyone knowing it.

I stick to the side of a crane and survey the area. I then feel weight on my back, I turn to see Cat hanging on to me from behind.

Felicia: This is the place. I can feel it.

Y/N: If they spot us, it's over. We need to take 'em all out. Like we used to.

Felicia then hangs off me and grabs my hand as she dangling there.

Y/N: As quiet as a cat.

Felicia: As sneaky as a spider.

She then drops down below and I jump away landing on a shipping container.

(Ten minutes later)

After dealing with the guys guarding the place Cat sneaks into the vault, whilst I deal with the reinforcements.

Once I dealt with those guys I head into the vault to check on Cat.

When I get in there I see a case that has the shape of a data drive and one of Felicia's signature stuffed cat dolls.

I now realise that Felicia was playing me the whole time.

Y/N: No no no, you've gotta be kidding me.

I then turn to see the vault door closing. I try to web zip out but the door closes before I can.

After that I found out that Felicia lied to me and Hammerhead by giving him fake drives and lying to me about her son. All along she wanted the drives for herself.

I tell her to give the drives to the police, but she doesn't want to.

We then hear some of Hammerhead's guys coming.

Felicia: Gotta go Spider. I'll raise a glass to you on the Riviera.

I start banging on the door.

Y/N: Felicia! Felicia!

After a couple of seconds I see the door open again, I jump on the roof and find out that Hammerhead has trackers on those drives and, he plans on killing Felicia by blowing up her penthouse.

Once Hammerhead's guys leave I leave the vault too. When I'm out I call Felicia to warn her.

Felicia: Miss me already?

Y/N: Hammerhead knows where you are and he's gonna kill you. There's a tracker on his drive...

Felicia: I don't get you Spider. I just conned you, and you're here trying to save me. How can you be so damn nice all the time?

Y/N: It's not about being nice, it's about doing the right thing. You've got some many talents. I just wish you'd use then for someone other than yourself.

Felicia: Well, you should know by now that's not how I roll. You can't change me Spider.

Y/N: People can change Felicia, you can too. I know it, because I know you.

Felicia: Love you Y/N. I'll miss you.

She hangs up.

Y/N: Damn it! Shit, gotta move Y/N!

After a few minutes of swinging as fast as I could I make it to Felicia's penthouse and see her about to walk through the door on the balcony.

She notices me and smiles at me.

I stick to the side of a building to jump into save her.

Y/N: Felicia!!!

But it was too late the place had blown to pieces and the explosion knocked me away sending me to another rooftop.

Once I get to my feet I see Felicia's penthouse on fire from the explosion.

Y/N: Damn it. I'm sorry Felicia.

I them web zip away trying to come to terms with what just happened.

I mean despite everything I still loved and cared for Felicia. She my high school sweetheart, she was the first girl I fell in love with. And she was my first.

(A/N: I'm sure you can guess what I mean by that.)

Now all I can do is find a way to move on from that and deal with her death, just like I had to with my mother's death.

Whilst writing this part of the story I did consider having Felicia actually have a son, instead of it being a lie. So I'm curious on what you guys think of that and whether you would have liked me to do that. So just comment on this chapter what you think of that idea.
