Y/N's P.O.V

So I just had a run in with another Maggia family and Cat stole their data drive too.

And after a few hours of sitting with the whole "potentially having a son" thing. I decide that I can't hold it in anymore and I need to tell Natasha about this.

I also need to tell her about Cat getting another drive.

I then call up Nat.

Y/N: Nat, the Cat got another data drive.

Natasha: Just one more and Hammerhead has the drives from all the other families. We gotta figure out what's on those drives.

Y/N: Yeah, and there's something else. There's this thing, probably not a big thing, but it COULD be a thing. A little thing... maybe big thing.

Natasha: Y/N, please say a sentence that doesn't have the word "thing" in it.

Y/N: Okay, so the reason Felicia is working with Hammerhead is because he took her son.

Natasha: Really? I didn't know she had a son. But that does sound like something Hammerhead would do.

Y/N: There's this other thing. You know that she and I dated for awhile and a few years ago we were hooking up casual...

Natasha: Yeah, so. Oh. Oh! Are you serious?!

Y/N: Well I don't know for sure, but it's possible.

Natasha: God, I need to hang up now.

She hangs up on me.

Y/N: Okay then. That went about as well as I expected. She'll call back once she's cooled off. Right? Man, I need to talk to someone about all this. It's a lot. I can't talk to dad about this as he's out of town on business.

I then decide to go and see Maya.

(Ten minutes later)

Once I make it to Maya's apartment complex I change into my normal clothes and go to her apartment.

I knock on the door and she opens up.

Maya: Hey Y/N.

I can then tell by the look on her face that she knows something's up.

Maya: Hey, what's wrong? Are you okay?

I shake my head and just hug her.

After pulling away we go into her place and sit down so I can tell her everything that's happening with Felicia and Hammerhead.

And after five minutes of explaining she just looks shocked by it all.

Maya: Wow, I can't believe it.

Y/N: I know, it's crazy. I wouldn't have believed if Felicia hadn't told me herself.

Maya: So, do you really think this kid could be yours?

Y/N: Honestly I have no idea. But I can't help but think that it is, and until I find Cat I won't know for sure.

Maya: So how did Natasha take it? You did tell her right?

Y/N: Yeah, I told her. I'm pretty sure I just fucked up our whole relationship, and she's probably gonna dump my ass. But yeah, I told her.

Maya: Y/N, Nat is not gonna dump you. She loves you. I've honestly never see a girl love you the way Nat does. Not even Felicia.

Y/N: Yeah I guess. Though to be fair you never really liked Felicia.

Maya: Yeah it's because I knew she wasn't the right girl for you. But Natasha is.

Y/N: Yeah I hope so. Man, I can't be a dad Maya. I mean look at me. I can barely take care of myself, let alone a kid.

Maya: Hey come on, first of all. We don't know if your the father yet. Second of all. If you are, you'll be fine, because you'll have all of us to support you.

I nod and smile.

Y/N: Yeah thanks Maya. You always know just what say.

Maya: Well, it's what us big sisters are best at.

Y/N: Right. Well I better get go and continue to look for Felicia.

I stand up and start to walk out, but Maya calls out to me and I turn to face her.

Maya: Y/N, for what it's worth. If it turns out this kid is yours, I think you'll be a great dad.

I smile.

Y/N: Thanks Maya. And you'll be one badass aunt.

She smiles.

Maya: Thanks.

I nod and leave.

Once I suit back up and get to the roof I get a call from Natasha.

Y/N: Hey Natasha.

Natasha: First things first. Go to this address. Its the last known of the Costa family safe. If my contact is right, that's where the final drive is.

Y/N: Okay, so Nat listen.

Natasha: No, you listen. I'm sorry. I kinda overrated before.

Y/N: No you didn't. You reacted the exact same way I would have.

Natasha: We weren't together at the time. So it's unfair of me to be mad at you for that. Anyway, the point is we're adults and, there's a child in danger. So let's get to saving him.

Y/N: Wow, I don't deserve you Natasha Romanoff.

She chuckles.

Natasha: Yeah I know.

Nat then goes on to tell that everything each Maggia family has a drive to access their families assets.

And from that we put together that Hammerhead stole Felicia's son, so she'll steal the drives from the other families.

Natasha: Y/N, we have to find that last drive before he does.

Y/N: Yeah, I'm on it.

I then hang up and head to the address Natasha gave me.

After a few minutes I make it to the location and see Cat sneaking out of the building.

Y/N: Felicia. We need to talk.

She looks at me.

Felicia: Aww, I do miss our little cute talks. But I gotta run.

She throws something that sticks on to me and explodes.

Felicia runs and jumps down to the streets. I jump down after to her and try to catch myself with my webs, but my web shooters don't work.

Y/N: Shit! She shorted out my web shooters with an EMP. I guess I'm doing this the old fashioned way.

I chase after her on foot.

After a few minutes I chase her down into the subway and she jumps on a train.

Y/N: Yes! My web shooters finally re-booted.

I then swing down the subway after her.

Y/N: Felicia, I can help you stop Hammerhead.

Felicia: How? No killing? No breaking the law? Your way won't get it done.

Y/N: Felicia, about your son. I just need to know, is he...

Felicia: He's my son, and I'll take care of him. Just like I have since the day he was born.

I continue to chase her and talk some sense into her.

Felicia: Stubborn little spider. You still with me?

Y/N: I can go all night if that's what it takes.

Felicia: Mmmm, now you're getting my attention.

I chase her off the train and back onto the streets. And after a few minutes I tackle down onto a building.

Then I manage to get her to stop as she goes over the side of a building and I stick to it and catch her, while hanging upside down.

She and I are then face to face.

Y/N: Can we talk like human beings?

Felicia: Well this feels pretty human to me.

She climbs up my body and keels down. I climb back up and kneel down next to her.

Y/N: Felicia, I know what's on those drives.

Felicia: Look at you. Brawn and brains. A sexy combination.

Y/N: If you give Hammerhead the drive your son will just be a loose end. Please, let me help you.

She looks at me.

Felicia: What do you have in mind?

Y/N: Stall him. Give us some time to find your son.

Felicia puts her hand on my cheek.

Felicia: I've missed you, missed your touch. I'm glad we're back together again.

I move her hand away.

Y/N: Not like that.

Felicia: Shame.

She nods and stands up.

Felicia: Okay, I can probably get us a few days max.

I nod and stand with her.

Y/N: Hey so, about your son. Is there any chance that I'm...

She puts her finger to my lips.

Felicia: Later. For now let's find him. Once he's safe, we'll talk about that. I promise.

I nod.

Y/N: Okay.

Felicia: Keep in touch Spider.

Felicia then uses her grappling hook to zip away.

Y/N: God. Nat's gonna kill me.

I then call up Natasha.

Natasha: Hey, did you get here this time?

Y/N: Yeah, she's gonna stall Hammerhead, while we all try and find her son.

Natasha: Did she tell you if your...

Y/N: No, she didn't say.

Natasha: Of course she didn't. Y/N, are sure she's not just playing you?

Y/N: No. I know her Nat. She wouldn't work for someone like Hammerhead unless she had to.

Natasha: Okay, if you're sure. Look, I'm gonna run that plate number you sent me. I'll let you know where it leads.

Y/N: Okay, thanks Nat.

She hangs up.

Y/N: God, what a day. What a day.

I then decide to go out and fight crime until I hear back from Natasha.
