Y/N's P.O.V

My fellow Avengers and I have been fighting the Chitauri for what seems like forever.

After taking down another squadron of Chitauri solo on the streets below the bridge, Barton starts talking to me over comms.

Clint: Spidey, the Chitauri have civilians cornered in a bank on 42nd.

Y/N: Okay, I'm on it.

Once I get to the bank on 42nd I jump into the bank and see that one ailen has a bomb so I shoot webs at its face and it drops the bomb.

The other two try to shoot me, but I manage to get behind cover and see the bomb is still set to blow any minute.

I kick the desk infront of me trapping two of them. I then attack another one and send him to the bottom floor and I webbed him down.

I then yell to the civilians.

Y/N: Go! Get out now!

One of the Chitauri grabs me from behind and manages to pull off my mask and throws me to the ground. I grab my mask and look up to see the alien has the bomb.

He gets ready to throw it at me but I jump out of the window and web it up to cover me from the explosion.

It doesn't work fully I get hit by the explosion and land on a car.

My ears are ringing as I get off the car. I then spot myself reflection in some broken glass and see that my suit has been torn up and blood is pouring out of my cuts on my face and body.

I put my mask back on and get back into the fight.

(Twenty minutes later)

After another twenty minutes or so of fighting Cap, Thor and I are fighting side by side and we're on our last legs.

(A/N: Just imagine Y/N is fighting with them.)

I realise this as I get blasted by a Chitauri gun. Thor then covers me and smashes them with a car.

I look up to see Thor is offering me his hand. I take and get back on my feet.

Thor then calls his hammer back to him.

Thor: Are you ready for another bout young one?

I laugh.

Y/N: Why? You getting sleepy?

He and I both chuckles at this.

Then Nat comes over the comms.

Natasha: Hey guys, I need to get Loki's scepter to shut down the portal. So, I'm gonna need some spider help here.

Steve looks to me and nods.

Y/N: Okay, I'm on my way Nat.

I then web zip over to Stark Tower and grab the scepter and then jump up on the roof where Natasha and Dr. Selvig are.

Nat then puts the scepter near the Cube.

Natasha: Guys, we can close the portal.

Steve: Do it!

Tony: Wait, we can't.

Steve: Stark, these things just keep coming.

Tony: I know, but I've gotta nuke coming and it's gonna blow in two and half minutes. And I know where to put it.

I then realise that he wants to put it into the portal.

Y/N: Okay, Tony, pass the nuke off to me I'll send it up. I can use the booster tech in Stark Tower you told me about earlier.

Tony: Are you sure?

Y/N: Yeah someone's gotta do it.

I go into the tower and equip the booster to my back and rejoin Nat and Selvig.

Steve then comes over comms again.

Steve: Y/N. You know this is gonna be a one-way trip right?

Y/N: Yeah, maybe, but if I don't do this millions of people will die.

Natasha then grabs my hand and stops me.

Natasha: No Y/N! You can't do this. I can't lose you, not you. I'm not gonna let you do this.

I take off my mask and put my hands on Nat's waist.

Y/N: I have to Nat, you know I do.

I breathe in.

Y/N: Okay, I'm gonna do something. Something I've been wanting to do for a long time now.

I lean and kiss her. As I continue to kiss Nat she puts her hands on my face and holds me there.

I then reluctantly pull away from her. But she still hold me in place.

Natasha: (Whispers) Now I'm definitely not letting you go.

Y/N: (Whipsers) I'm sorry Nat, but you have to.

She nods knowing why I have to do this.

Y/N: Goodbye beautiful.

She smiles.

Natasha: Goodbye Cowboy.

I smile and put my mask back on.

Tony: Okay kid, you ready?

Y/n: Yep.

Tony: Okay, I'm incoming. In three, two, one. Now!

Tony flies up and and I use the booster combined with web zipping to grab onto the nuke and I go up with the nuke into the portal.

Third person prospective

As Y/N continues to ride the nuke up into space he sees the mothership and uses his enhanced strength to give the nuke then extra kick it needed and it went straight into the mothership destroying it.

Y/N then passes out due to not being able to breath. The booster then falls off of Y/N's back and Y/N floats slowly back down. Y/N carrys on floating down and manages to make it back through the portal.

(A/N: So just imagine that's you and not Tony.)

A couple of seconds before this back on earth Natasha holds off on closing the portal in hopes that Y/N would make it back down.

Natasha: Come on, Cowboy. Come back to me.

Steve then comes over the comms.

Steve: I'm sorry Natasha, but you have to close it now.

Natasha knows he's right and holds back her tears as she pushes the scepter into the Cube and closes the portal.

Steve's P.O.V

Just as Thor and I see the portal close we then see a small figure falling out of where the portal just was.

I chuckle as I know it's Y/N.

Steve: That crazy son of a gun.

As Y/N continues to fall we start to worry.

Thor then starts spinning his hammer.

Thor: He's not slowing down.

But just before Thor can take off Hulk comes from out of nowhere and catches Y/N.

Once they're both on the ground Thor and I run over. Thor then takes his mask off to make it easier for him to breath.

Natasha's P.O.V

After seeing Y/N make it out of that portal I felt the happiness surging through my body.

Tony flies over and picks me up and flies me down to the other's.

When we land I feel my heart drop and I run over to Y/N.

I rush over and start giving Y/N CPR.

Natasha: Come on Y/N. Come back to me. Don't do this to me please! Please wake up!

Steve then puts his hand on my shoulder.

Steve: I'm sorry Natasha, but he's gone.

I couldn't even hold the tears back anymore. I break down and start crying into Y/N's chest.

Then out of nowhere Hulk starts roaring and this jolts Y/N back to life.

Y/N: Woah! What the hell?!

Y/N's P.O.V

I look up to see Nat looking at me with tears in her eyes. She then starts smiling at me as do the others.

Y/N: What just happened? Please tell me no-one kissed me?

Steve: We won.

I breath a sigh of relief.

Y/N: Alright, hey, good job guys let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take the day off. Have you ever tried shawmera? There's a shawmera joint a few blocks away, I have no idea what it is but I wanna try it.

Steve and Nat smile at me.

Thor: We have unfinished business first.

I look at Thor.

Y/N: But then shawmera after right?

Natasha looks at the other's.

Natasha: You guys go on ahead. I'll help Y/N. He'll probably need it right now.

Steve nods.

Steve: Yeah, okay, come on guys.

Steve and the other's walk off and Nat helps me sit up.

Once I'm up I wipe some of the tears away.

Natasha: I'm sorry, I'm such a mess right now.

Y/N: No you not. To me you're always beautiful no matter what.

She smiles at me.

Natasha: Would you just shut up and kiss me.

Y/N: Yes ma'am.

I lean and kiss her deeply.

After a couple of minutes Nat and I pull away to breath.

Y/N: As much as I'd love to carry on doing this. We should probably catch up to the other's.

She nods.

Natasha: Okay, let's go.

Nat helps me up to my feet and we head up to Stark Tower.

(Five minutes later)

Once getting to the top floor and waiting we see Loki wake up and pull himself up slightly and looks over and see us, the Avengers standing and Hawkeye pointing an arrow at his face.

Loki: If it's all the same to you. I'll have that drink now.
