Y/N's P.O.V

After getting back to the helicarrier we all sit around the table on the command deck and listen to Fury talk to Loki.

Once the commutation inside the room with the cell in it cuts off Bruce is the first to talk.

Bruce: He really grows on you doesn't?

I chuckle at this.

Steve: Loki's gonna drag this out. So, Thor what's his play?

Thor turns to us.

Thor: He has an army call the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard, nor of any world known. He means to lead them against your people, they will win him the earth.

I shake my head.

Y/N: An army from outer space? You know what though? After everything big bads I've faced in the past two years that doesn't even surprise me anymore.

Nat chuckles at this, obviously remember what happened against the Lizard.

Bruce: So, he's building another portal. That's why he needs Erik Slevig.

Thor: Selvig?

Bruce: He's an astrophysicist.

Thor: He's a friend.

Natasha: Loki has him under a spell, along with one of ours.

Y/N: I just don't get why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here.

Bruce: I don't think we should be focusing on that kid. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats. You could smell crazy on him.

Thor: I care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is an Asgardian. He is my brother.

Natasha: He killed eighty people in two days.

Thor: He's adopted.

Bruce: I think it's about the mechanics. The Iridium, what do they need that for?

???: It's a stabilising agent.

We turn to see Tony Stark coming into the room.

Tony: It means that the portal won't collapse like it did at S.H.I.E.L.D. No hard feelings Point Break. You've got a mean swing. It means that the portal can stay open as long as Loki wants.

Tony goes over to Fury's position.

Tony: How does Fury even see these?

Maria: He turns.

Tony: That sounds exhausting.

Tony then starts talking about the materials that agent Barton would need to get to help Loki with his plan.

Then he and Bruce start talk more science that the rest of us have trouble keeping up with.

Tony: Finally, someone who speaks English.

Y/N: Is that what just happened?

Tony: It's good to meet you Dr. Banner. Your work on antielectron collisions is unparalleled. I'm also a fan of how you turn into a huge green rage monster.

Bruce: Thanks.

We then see Fury come in.

Nick Fury: Dr. Banner is here to track the Tesseract. I was hoping you'd join him.

Steve: I'd start with that stick of his. It maybe magical, but it works a bit like a HYDRA weapon.

Nick Fury: I don't know about that, but it is powered by the Cube. And I'd like to know how he used to two of the sharpest men I know into his personal flying monkeys.

Thor and I look at Fury slightly confused.

Thor: Monkeys? I don't understand.

Y/N: Yeah, me neither.

Steve: I do.

Steve then looked at us.

Steve: I understood that reference.

I look at Steve in disbelief.

Y/N: Fuck me you're old.

Tony bursts out laughing at this.

After recovering from his laughing fit he looks to me.

Tony: Good one kid. How about you join us in the lab, I hear your quite the mechanical prodigy so we could use your help.

I stand up.

Y/N: Yeah, sure. I need to fix up my web shooters anyway. The lab with most likely have the equipment I need.

Tony: Great.

He then turns to Bruce.

Tony: Shall we Doctor?

Bruce then leads Tony and I out of the room and to his lab.

(One hour later)

After getting to the lab I find the equipment I need to first get rid off the burn marks on my suit from Thor's lightning and then start fixing up my web shooters, whilst listening to my favourite song.

(A/N: So this will be your song like how back in black is Tony's song. I was gonna add it in before but I was having technical problems so I couldn't but here it is now. I also made this the reader's song becuase ever since I played Spider-Man Miles Morales I'm literally obsessed with it.)

As I'm listening to the song I'm interrupted by Tony pulling out my headphones.

Tony: Hey, kid what's with the music?

Y/N: Oh, sorry, when I'm fixing or building things the music sorta helps me focus.

Tony: Don't worry I'm the same.

Tony walks over to the other side of the table.

Tony: So, I've gotta admit kid you've got mad skills. So, how did you get your powers anyway?

Y/N: Well, long story short, I got bit by a radioactive spider that was at Oscorp. And when I woke up the next morning I could do anything a spider can.

Tony nods accepting my answer. He then looks down and see a small canister with my webbing in it.

Tony: I'm also impressed by this webbing, it's tensile strength is off the charts. Who manufactured that?

He throws the canister at me and I catch it without looking up.

I then look up at him and set the canister on the table next to me.

Y/N: I did. When I got bit I think that the spider passed on the knowledge I'd need to create my own webbing.

Tony: Maybe.

As I carry on working on my web shooters a spark happens.

Y/N: Ah damn it.

Tony: So, what happened to your web shooters anyway?

Y/N: Thor fried them when he hit me with his lightning. That's the only problem with 'em they can't conduct electricity. I found that out when I fought a bad guy of mine called Electro, he fried my web shooters and ever since I've been trying to find a way to make 'em immune to electricity.

Tony rubs his chin and then he raises his eyebrows.

Tony: Have you tried using a magnet?

I look at him in shock.

Y/N: No I haven't, but that could work. If I magnetise my web shooters that'll make them immune to electricity. That's genius.

Tony then walks away for a moment.

As I get to work on that I hear the door open. I look over to see Nat coming towards me.

Natasha: Hey Cowboy.

Y/N: Hey.

She pulls me into a hug, I let my face settle into her neck as the chair I'm in is low enough to allow me to do that.

And I didn't mind as she smelt amazing.

Once she pulls away I can feel the heat rise in my cheeks.

Natasha: So, how's the fixing going?

Y/N: Good, I've almost got them fixed. So did you need something?

Natasha: No, I just wanted to check in with my favourite spider.

I start blushing slightly at this.

Y/N: Well, I'm good.

Natasha: Okay, good. This is a quick stop, but I'll be back in an hour or so. Хорошо? (Translation: Okay?)

Y/N: Хорошо.

Natasha shows me that beautiful smile before walking out of the room.

I then see Tony walk over to me again.

Tony: Awww, she's teaching you Russian. That's cute.

I smile at him.

Y/N: I'm sure if she liked you, she'd teach you too.

After a few minutes I finally finish working on my web shooters. When I walk over to Stark and Banner I see Tony trying to get the Hulk to come out.

Bruce: Oww.

???: Hey!

Tony: Nothing.

I turn to see Steve coming into the lab.

Steve: Are you nuts?

Tony: Jury's out. You really do have a lid on it don't you? What's your secret? Mellow jazz, bongo drums, huge bag of weed?

Steve: Is everything a joke to you?

Tony: Funny things are.

Steve: Threating the safety of everyone on this ship isn't funny. No offence Doc.

Bruce: It's fine, I wouldn't have come aboard if I couldn't handle pointy things.

Tony: You keep tiptoeing big man. You need to strut.

Steve: And you need to focus on the problem, Mr. Stark.

Tony: You think I'm not?

Tony then goes on to talk about how he and Bruce believe that Fury is hiding something and Tony also admits that he's hacking into S.H.I.E.L.D right now.

After his and Cap's disagreement Steve leaves the room obviously conflicted.

Once he does Tony, Bruce and I continue tracking down the Tesseract.
