(Three days later)

Y/N's P.O.V

So it's been three days since my little I guess you could say team and I stopped the Lizard. And since then a lot has happened.

First of all the Dr. Connors was arrested and put in jail for his crimes, which is some what good as I won't have to deal with the Lizard again anytime soon.

Second of all uncle Tommy decided to tell dad about his old days as the Prowler, dad was a bit mad at first but their still best friends. Dad actually made a deal with uncle Tommy which was if he flipped on some of the big name criminals that he worked with as the Prowler that he'd get a reduced jail sentence. Which uncle Tommy did as he wanted to make up for his past crimes.

Third of all the day after we stopped the Lizard dad held a press conference and explained how Spider-Man saves everyone including himself by stopping the Lizard, so that meant that the arrest warrant for Spider-Man was dismissed as I was not to be arrested. This is good as it's nice to have the cops on my side and know that I'm here to help, there are still some people including cops that think I'm just a vigilante getting in the way, but you know baby steps.

Also Natasha was able to prove that I didn't kill those S.H.I.E.L.D agents, so they aren't trying to arrest me anymore.

But that's all right now and after another big day of fighting crime I head home at the evening and walk into the kitchen.

As I walk into the kitchen my spider sense goes off and I then knew that someone I didn't know was in the room with me.

I turn and round house kick the intruder. After the intruder gets knocked to the ground the intruder gets up and starts laughing.

???: Not bad kid. I'm impressed, I can see why Agent Romanoff has taken a liking to you.

Y/N: Right, first of all normal people don't laugh after getting knocked on their ass. Second of all who the hell are you? And what the hell are you doing in this house?

I turn on the kitchen lamp and the intruder comes into the light.

???: I'm Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Y/N: Okay, Nick Fury. Why are you here?

Nick Fury: I need you to come with me. I need to talk to you, in private.

Y/N: Okay, let's go.

Fury and I walk out of the house and get into his car. When we get into the car I ask him something.

Y/N: Hey, so, I don't want to get off on the wrong foot but do I look at the patch or the eye?

He then looks at me with a death stare.

Y/N: Got it. Doesn't matter.

He then starts the car and drives off.

(Ten minutes later)

After about ten minutes of driving we get out of the car and walk in to what looks like an abandoned building.

Once we get into main room I see Nat and agent Coulson standing there.

Natasha comes over and hugs me.

Y/N: Hey Nat.

Natasha: Hey.

I then see agent Coulson come over and shakes my hand.

Coulson: Mr. L/N, it's good to see you. I'm sorry about the whole arresting you thing.

Y/N: It's all good Coulson, I understand.

Nick Fury: Now that all of that is over. I'd like to show you something to you Mr. L/N.

He passes me a file.

Nick Fury: This is Agent Romanoff's assessment of you.

I look at Nat who smiles at me.

I then open up the file and see that Nat has spoken about my strengths and weaknesses as both Y/N L/N and Spider-Man. By the end it said that both Y/N L/N and Spider-Man were the right fit for what was known as the Avengers initiative.

Y/N: This is great and all, but what's the Avengers initiative?

Nick then passes me another file that has "Avengers initiative" in big black letters.

Nick Fury: It essentially boils down to this. There was an idea to bring together a group of remarkable people to see if they could fight the battles that we never could.

Y/N: And you guy's think I'm one of those people?

Nick Fury: Yes, yes we do.

Y/N: Right, but before we carry on any further I have to ask. From what you said in the car and from what Natasha has told. How do you know so much about my family?

Nick Fury: Well kid, I know your family pretty well considering your grandfather Robert L/N was one of the founding memebers of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I wave my hands and shake my head.

Y/N: Wait, hold on, I coulda just sworn you said my grandfather was one of the founding memebers of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Nick Fury: I did, because he was, he was the youngest founding memeber in fact. Also you other grandfather Quentin Lance joined up with S.H.I.E.L.D after quiting the police force and, before his death obviously.

Y/N: Wow, I've just been hit with a lot there.

Fury chuckles at this.

Nick Fury: I get that. So back to the subject. Would you like to join this initiative?

I think about it for a moment and then walk over and extend my hand out to Fury.

He shakes my hand.

Y/N: I will, but I will be a freelancer, for now.

Nick Fury: Okay, I can deal with that.

Y/N: I will be a freelancer, in exchange for a favour.

Nick Fury: And what would that be?

Y/N: My uncle Tommy is in prison for what he did as the Prowler in the past and, while he is serving a reduced sentence I believe that his skill set would be well suited for an organisation like S.H.I.E.L.D. So, I'm hoping you'd be willing to allow him to work with S.H.I.E.L.D as probation.

Nick thinks for a moment and looks at Natasha then back to me.

Nick Fury: I'll see what I can do.

I nod to him and shake his hand again.

Y/N: Thank you.

Nick Fury: Okay, now that's been sorted out. Agent Romanoff will take you home now and, we'll call you in when we need you.

I nod to him and walk out with Natasha.

After getting back to my house Nat and I get out of the car and walk to my front door.

I turn to Natasha and look at her.

Y/N: So, what's next for you Nat?

Natasha: Well, my next mission is starting next week

Y/N: That's great. Just be careful.

Natasha: Don't worry, I will.

She leans in a kisses me on the cheek.

Natasha: You be careful too okay? Don't make me have to save your ass.

I laugh.

Y/N: Don't worry, I'll be fine.

Natasha: Okay. Well, I'll see you soon.

We both smile.

Y/N: Yeah, I'll see you soon Nat.

Natasha then walk back to her car.

Y/N: Hey Nat.

She turns to look at me.

Y/N: With any of your future missions if you need me to back you up, then I'll be there.

She smiles at me.

Natasha: Thanks Y/N. And if you ever need me for back up again, I'll be there.

I nod to her. She nods back and gets into her car.

I turn and walk into my house, excited for my next adventure as the Spectacular Spider-Man.

(A/N: Well, that's it for the orgin story. Next up will be the Avengers arc, but before that Spider-Man and Black Widow will team up.)
