Finding your soulmate, at least in the books, was supposed to be romantic and well, perfect.

Hunter glanced at the two words on his wrist, the words simply, "Hey you."

A million scenarios ran through his mind, how perfect the moment must be.

Would his soulmate recognize him immediately and fall in love? He didn't know.

"Demon realm to Hunter," Amity snapped her fingers in his ear, and he flinched back into reality. "You almost walked into a locker, and although that would've been hilarious, Eda would kill me."

He sighed, but a smirk lied on his face. "Wow, Blight, and I thought we were friends."

Amity shook her head and shot back, "And I thought you were supposed to be smart."

"Hey!"

Amity looked around and noticed her girlfriend, abandoning Hunter to run towards her.

It kinda pissed him off that she found her soulmate before he did, when he was the older one.

Hunter shook his head and kept walking, avoiding a crowd chanting "Fight" and off to go see if there were any clubs.

There was a girl advertising a new club, but it was some sport he didn't care for, so he glanced it over and kept walking, but two certain words drew him back.

"Hey, you!"

Hunter spun around and saw the girl looking at him.

"Do you wanna join my flyer's derby team?" She asked, handing him a pamphlet.

"Can't, I have to find that stupid history class." He grumbled.

The girl's eyes widened, and she looked at him rather surprised.

"What?" He looked down at her, watching as she rolled up the green sleeve of her left arm, and showed it to him.

It had been the exact words he said a moment ago.

"Oh my Titan." He breathed, and grabbed her hand excitedly. "What's your name?"

"Uhm, Willow Park! Yours?" She smiled, and Hunter could definitely envision her as his soulmate.

"Hunter Clawthorne." He grinned, then awkwardly held her hand. "Maybe I will join your team."
