My gym would be a dark type gym and the 8th gym you enter the gym and you see four lights one at the door, one at the tip giver at the beginning and the other two are on the statues for those who have defeated the gym leader you read it and it says five names XxFarva13xX , flylikeFairies , Yukida1321 , ValiantPhantom , and the1topher that is it no rival meaning they either haven't beaten this person yet or haven't gotten here yet but it doesn't matter you talk to the tip giver and they respond "Hey there champ if you want to get through this gym you better have one of these types on you Fairy, Fighting, or Bug other wise this will be a long gym for you apparently to get to the leader you will be crawling through a dark maze while searching for random stones once you find them all the path to the leader will be shown to you and you'll have to put them in exact order to open the door to get to the leader to find the correct order battling the trainers will give you hints there will be eight pieces to search for and some will be in the hands of the trainers good luck Champ!" with that explosion of knowledge you start traversing the maze of darkness with some crawl spaces apparently to find the odd stones that make no sense battling some high leveled trainers but not hair pulling difficult with levels like 45-52 nothing impossible to handle the maze though is blindingly dark it deafeningly silent until a battle happens and then you finally get the eighth piece and you go blind for a moment or two before following the trail of lights and it ending at a giant door with eight different holes for the stones and you place them in order of what you learned from the trainers and it opens up revealing a  man who is standing calmly in the middle of the room that has the aroma of coffee and pen and paper as he just stands there looking at you as you approach before he gets in a thinking posture

and starts speaking "You seem strong.... let's test that theory..." then the battle starts he sends out a Lvl 56 Umbreon with the moves Moonlight, Dark Pulse, Confuse ray, and Last Resort next up is a Lvl 56 Incineroar with the moves Darkest Lariat, Flamethrower, Will-O-Wisp, and Dark Pulse next up is a Lvl 56 Malamar with the moves Superpower, Dark Pulse, Psycho Cut, and Night Slash and after you beat that then you bring out his final pokemon at Lvl 60 Tyranitar with the moves Earthquake, Dark Pulse, Thunderbolt, and Surf if you lose to him he says "so this is the extent of your current powers how.... Disappointing.... Go train more before coming back..." but if you win he says "Impressive you and your pokemon team seem fit for the elite four congratulations... Y/N..." and after that he gives you $15,000, the Reaper Badge, and TM 90 Dark pulse before he waves you off and the entire Gym for you is lit up and you can move along with your journey.
