Part Six

A/N ~ Excuse this for being extremely late, I've been working on this but pretty much this is all what has come of it.

Plus exam season has pretty much thrown me off my writing game.

I may redo this, I'm not too sure. Or maybe I'll just make the next update longer. Yeah, probably that.

She stood there silently as she watched him skim stones across the lake, smiling to herself.

"You know I could never do that, stone skimming.", Kaitlyn started.

Seth froze for a brief moment before continuing.

"I would always see it in Dawson's Creek, when they had some life changing decision to make they would go to the lake and stare helplessy at the water like it was going to tell them the right thing to do.", she laughed dryly as she slowly made her way over to him.

Seth remained quiet as she stood beside him, he didn't once look at her, just stared ahead of himself.

"I was more of a Beverly Hills 90210 guy.", he replied finally, causing an amused grin to appear on Kaitlyn's face.

They both looked at one another, a small smile on Seth's face.

"I thought you left.", Kaitlyn spoke softly.

"I was stopped by a small roadblock known as your best friend."

Letting out a small laugh, Kaitlyn knew he was on about AJ. The laughter soon died down, silence falling between the two of them.

"I didn't do it.", she spoke out of the silence as they both looked ahead of one another, staring across the lake.

Seth knew that she wouldn't go thought with the wedding, and deep down even Kaitlyn did. As much as she loved PJ, the love for the man sitting beside her outweighed him and just about anything else in her life. If there was one thing she was most certain about in her life right now, it was that she loved him.

And he could most definitely say the same thing about himself.

"Why?", Seth asked simply.

Taking a breath, Kaitlyn inhaled the cool air before exhaling. "It wasn't right, not only for him but for me."

Looking over at the brunette, Seth squinted slightly due to the sunlight, waiting for her to continue.

"Marrying someone, you should be marrying the one you're certain you will stay with forever, and love endlessly. Isn't that what marriage is? I didn't feel that with him, it was wrong to put him in that situation.", she sighed as she played with the bracelet what adorned her wrist. "But there is one person who I'm sure about, that I love him. That I could see myself marrying him in the future, starting a life with him, someone who I'll always love.", Kaitlyn smiled to herself, not realising Seth's gaze on her.

He admired her beauty in the sunlight, the way the light reflected on her hair, making the tiara resting on the crown of her head glisten. Her complexion seemed to glow, she looked flawless.

Finally breaking out of his own world, Seth finally replied. "That guy sounds rather lucky."

That's the type of game he's going to play she thought as she rolled her eyes playfully with a smirk. "He is, he's rather wonderful.", Kaitlyn smiled to herself.

"I wish I would have told him how I felt sooner cause then I wouldn't have had to put not only myself but him and another guy through all this hurt. But hopefully he can forgive me because I'm truly sorry and really would like to be with him.", she spoke absently as she turned and started walking.

Noticing her movement, Seth quickly got to his feet and headed off towards her, keeping pace as he walked slightly back at her side.

"I'm pretty sure he will, he'd be stupid not to be with someone like you. You're really special, Kaitlyn."

Turning round quickly, Kaitlyn startled him, her hazel eyes sparkling with hope as she gazed up at him. "Really?", her smile got wider.

Smiling at her adorableness, Seth nodded as he moved a stray hair behind her ear as he looked at her, those brown eyes of his meeting the hazel ones he knows so well. "You know how I feel about you Kait, there is no doubt in my mind how much I love you and want to be with you.", he spoke softly as he placed his other hand on her waist. "I love you. I said it once earlier, I said it again earlier and I'm pretty sure I'll be saying that for the rest of my eternity."

Placing her hand ontop of his what rested on her waist, Kaitlyn leaned her forehead against Seth's lightly.

Hearing those words from Seth made her even more certain that she had made the right choice. Pulling him in, Kaitlyn placed a kiss on his lips, it felt like the kiss they shared only months before, the day she left the WWE.

Resting her forehead back on Seth's, she stared into his eyes as she smiled, him returning the same smile.

"I love you too."
