Part Seven

A/N ~ This is actually the last chapter of this, sorry to say. It wasn't going to be a long story anyway, I basically used this from a prompt and somehow dragged it out to seven parts..somehow?

I'm even amazed I managed seven parts tbf.

But nonetheless, I hope you've enjoyed this as much as I've enjoyed writing this. Reading your comments, seeing the positive reviews this has got is fab, I couldn't ask for better readers so thank you.

So, here we go.

The final part of Speak Now starts here.

~

One Year Later.

Seth fount himself in the same predicament he was in this time last year, sitting on the bed with his head in his hands as he let out a breath me never knew he was holding.

Today was the day.

But today's circumstances were different, way different than they were last year.

It had been round about two years since he had said goodbye to her in the parking lot.

It had been around twenty one months since he received that wedding invitation in the mail from her.

It had been a year since he nearly saw the love of his life marry another man.

But this time around, it was different.

It was right.

The invitations went out only a few months ago, both of them deciding to have a small affair with only their closest friends and family there, completely opposite to how it was planned only a year ago.

'You are invited to the private wedding of Celeste Beryl Bonin and Colby Lopez to celebrate the exchanging of vows & rings as they start their new life together.'

Removing his hands from his face, a small smile played across his lips as he thought about this day, and compared it to how it was only a year ago.

How different his mood is.

Instead of that broken feeling, it's that complete feeling. This day isn't going to lead to heartbreak, this is only going to make his heart whole.

Standing up from the bed, Seth picked up his tie as he made his way over to the mirror.

His suit black, it was a new suit. One she had picked out for him, it became her new favourite of his. As you already know, she always had liked it when he dressed up smart.

His dress shirt a crisp white, the colour of new beginnings, signalling the start of his new life with the one he loves, ready to mark this blank canvas with all the colours of the spectrum, dark and light as he shares his life with her.

Finishing off his tie, Seth checked himself over in the mirror, nodding at his appearance approvingly.

A knock at the door broke his gaze away, looking at the door and calling whoever knocked inside.

The door opened to reveal AJ, dressed in a mauve coloured one shouldered knee length dress. Once again she was bridesmaid to her best friend, however this time she was more happy with the colour choice of dress. As she walked into the room Seth noticed the smile on her face, even she was a opposite to how she felt this time last year.

"Well don't you look handsome.", she beamed as she stood beside Seth, him letting out a laugh in reply. Looking at him in the mirror, it was a sense of déjà vu, not only for Seth but for AJ also.

"Looks like I finally got my way.", AJ spoke, reminding him of what she told him when she came to get him last time around. A smile lit across Seth's face, a contrast to how it was last year.

AJ finally knew how Seth felt, how it felt to be with the one you loved and knowing that you had them for the rest of your lifetime.

She could finally relate to him, and that made her feel happy.

"Come on, we're ready to start.", she hooked her arm through his as they made their way to the door, opening it to see that Dean was just about to knock.

"You ready?", Dean asked with his signature smirk as he tucked his hands into his trouser pockets. Roman and Phil stood beside him, AJ moving to stand by her now fiancé, Phil as he took her hand in his.

Taking a deep breath, Seth nodded. "Yeah, let's go.", he replied as he started walking alongside his group of friends.

AJ looked up at Phil expectedly, waiting for him to say something to her. "What? No compliments on the dress?", she questioned. Looking down at her, Phil smirked, "I prefer the pink one, in all fairness."

"Liar."

Phil only laughed in reply as he placed a kiss on AJ's cheek.

They made their way down to the area, Seth and Kaitlyn deciding to get married in Cabo, wanting a beach wedding yet something still simplistic and elegant.

AJ had parted ways with them to go with Kaitlyn.

This time around, they stood at the end of the altar.

Seth, the groom.

Dean, Roman and Phil, the groomsmen.

Sneezing, Phil instinctively looked down as he covered his nose. His eyes widened when he realised something.

"Dude, are you wearing flip flops?"

"Yeah..", Dean replied simply.

"But you have socks on."

This had caught Roman's attention and now he and Phil were giving Dean disapproving looks.

"I didn't want sand touching my toes."

"Then wear shoes.", Roman replied.

"No!"

"You look like a tourist!"

"What are you, the fashion police? Shut up, Phillip.", Dean mumbled as he glared at the Straight Edge Superstar.

"Dean, go change your shoes or take the socks off before I dunk you in the ocean like I'm going to baptise you.", Roman spoke calmly, but in a tone where you knew he wasn't messing around.

Letting out the frustrated grunt a teenager would to his parents, Dean stomped off as he went back inside to change his footwear.

"Should drown his bitch-ass for wearing socks with flip flops.", Phil muttered as he shook his head.

Seth just stood there with an amused smile as he witnessed the exchange between his friends, shaking his head as he sighed.

Dean returned a few minutes later, his sock-flip flops combo now replaced with more appropriate footwear. "Happy now?", he asked snidely as the guys rolled their eyes at him.

~

Kaitlyn stood infront of the mirror, admiring her white floor length strapless dress, a smile on her face.

"You look amazing.", AJ beamed as she stood behind her best friend, admiring her.

"Do you think he'll like it?", she asked looking at AJ in the mirror.

"He'll love it, Kait."

Taking a deep breath, Kaitlyn exhaled slowly, calming the nerves she had inside. Grabbing her bouquet off of the side, Kaitlyn turned to the shorter woman.

"Ready?"

"Ready."

Kaitlyn headed out of the room, only to be met with her father waiting outside, leaning against the wall. Looking up he smiled at the sight of his daughter.

"You look beautiful.", he smiled.

"Thanks dad.", Kaitlyn smiled back in reply as she linked her arm in his.

"Are you sure this is what you want?", he asked. He was only asking again to make sure that his daughter was doing the right thing, however he had no doubt in his mind that his daughter wouldn't marry the man waiting for her down the aisle.

With a smile, Kaitlyn nodded, "I'm sure."

Linking her arm with his, it was time.

The three of them headed out, AJ trailing infront of Kaitlyn as they made their way. A band of violins playing softly in the back as Kaitlyn and her father walked the length to the groom in waiting.

There was only a handful of people to witness this marriage, Seth and Kaitlyn's parents and their siblings, Daniel Bryan and his wife Brie, Natalya and her husband TJ, Antonio Cesaro, The Usos and Jimmy's wife, Naomi.

Seth and Kaitlyn wanted this wedding as intimate as possible.

With Kaitlyn's father placing her hand in Seth's, he gave his daughter away to the man she truly loved, stepping aside to join his wife.

Glancing at her, Seth was in awe of how beautiful Kaitlyn looked. "You look amazing.", he muttered, a smile on his face. Blushing, Kaitlyn looked down as she smiled at his words.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join Colby Lopez and Celeste Beryl Bonin in the union of marriage..", the priest started.

The vows were said.

It was official.

Confetti was thrown in the air at the newlyweds, with smiles on their faces as they celebrated their lives as the newly announced Mr and Mrs Lopez.
