How do you guys start a new story? Like, do you immediately create characters and relationships? Or focus on the plot and villain(s)? Or make a Pinterest board and do a lot of graphics and focus on the aesthetic? Do you make summaries? Outlines? Or jump straight into the beginning?

I'm suddenly really interested in story-creating process. (I usually begin with characters and outlines if I'm particularly inspired.)
