Chapter Sixteen-Someday

"JENNA!!!" Carol shrieked at the top of her lungs. Again. Jenna quickly rushed over, worry written all over her face. She then reached for her communication supplies (ink and papyrus).

*What happened?* Jenna scribbled.

"M-my leg...hurts." Carol's eyes became all teary. Jenna looks at me for help.

"Um, excuse me, but the last time I checked, I am your older brother." I said, pointing to myself. "Tell me instead of burdening Jenna with your problems."

Carol stuck her tongue out at me. "Well, Jenna is way better than you, that's for sure. She's our sister now, and I want to be her twin too!"

I gave an apologic look to Jenna, then turned to the demon child.

"Carol, you can deal with it yourself. You're nine years old." I said wearily.

Carol crossed her arms, pouting.

Sighing, I turned to see a red and flustered Jenna, who ran out the door.

"Carol!" I groaned. "Can you not scare Jenna away with your immature comments?"

"Well, who gave me this trait then, huh? It's not my fault!" The brat said. "Oh, what's this?" She picked a torn-off piece of paper off the floor. "I'm getting medical supplies for Carol. Don't worry, I'm coming back. From, Jenna." She read. "Wow, that's some neat handwriting." Carol whistled, clearly approving.

I can't help it but smile. Jenna is perfect, at least in my eyes. I wish...to tell her my feelings someday...someday

(A/N) How about a vote (creepy grin)?
