OrcaKit woke up to SwiftKit."Watch the dawn patrols go!" TurtleButt searched for the raven looking tom,LimpFoot,but he was nowhere to be seen.

TiaraKit nudged MossyKit."In the evening it's our ceremony!" MossyKit gasped.How could she forget about her own ceremony,her sibling's and her friends'?

TurtleButt sighed as he dipped his head in sorrow.LimpFoot was sick.TurtleButt followed his hatred patrol out from the gorse.

Brownie was talking to MeowChick.Soon,new kits will be borned.LynxPurr was fast asleep,the other queens also taking care of her each glance.

"I can't wait to mentor those kits." Meowed TiaraKit,breaking the awkward silence.

"Me to!"
Me three!"
But MossyKit didn't reply.

"How about you,MossyKit?" MossyKit turned her face to SwiftKit,then looked away again.

"Eh,just leave her." Growled OrcaKit,biting his sister."OW!" Sharply,MossyKit hissed."Don't bite me!"

"Then stop snapping out!"
MossyKit sighed."Then stop being a-"  MossyKit snorted and walked to the corner.

The final patrol came back.MistyTail and AzureStar got in position.It was time.

The cats gathered around."OrcaKit,SwiftKit, TiaraKit and MossyKit.Please step up."The four kits stepped up with pleasure,but MossyKit stayed idle with her emotions.

"OrcaKit,you have reached the age of six moons,and are ready to begin your apprenticeship.From this day on,until you receive your warrior name,you shall be known as OrcaPaw." AzureStar took a deep breath."EveOak,you are wise and follow each commandment.You do not give up and keep going.I hope you pass this knowledge onto OrcaPaw."

After a few more kits,MossyKit was the last to be announced.

"MossyKit,you have reached the age of six moons,and are ready to begin your apprenticeship.From this day on,until you receive your warrior name,you shall be known as MossyPaw." MistyTail stared at MossyPaw."MistyTail,you have shown courage and democracy to the whole clan ever since you became a apprentice.I know you can pass this personality on MossyPaw,and help her find her future." MistyTail dipped her head and stepped off the stone to touch noses with MossyPaw.

It's been three days;so far she has been helping collect scraps of herbs.Her first herb was moss.It was pretty simple since there was miss already growing through the exit of the camp,so they just sat there,half on territory and half in camp.

"MossyPaw,wake up.We need to find BurdenRoot." MistyTail meowed.Moss

yPaw saw that RubyPaw was the only apprentice left.Apparantley her mentor is sick,and no other warriors are free,so she gets days off."MossyPaw,did you hear what I said?" MossyPaw snapped out."Um-yes."

MossyPaw followed her mentor into the undergrowth.She saw so much feverfew and burden.She began digging out the targetted herb.

"Are we done yet?" Complained MossyPaw after a hour or so."No! Patience is all you need to be a warrior! Remember that,in fact,and you know that!" Spat MistyTail.MossyPaw faced back to her paws and picked up her burden.

After a few hours of scavenging new herbs,she gave them to TortoiseShell.AlphaPaw was fast asleep.

RubyPaw was sharing tongues with SleepyPaw."What are you learning today?" TiaraPaw meowed.It was dawn,but none of the apprentices where chosen to go on patrols."Hunting,after three months of getting scolded and collecting herbs.."

MossyPaw grunted in embarrassment."Don't feel shame,me and SwiftPaw are doing battle.." SwiftPaw growled."She is just saying that because I'm doing hunting!" OrcaPaw spat at TiaraPaw.
