I made a dragonsona the other day. Saw a lot of others making themselves into dragons, and I personally, have always wanted to be one.

(Fricken printer screwed me over again.... Ignore that huge, unavoidable black THING in front of her face...)

This is Firefly, she is a Sea-Mud hybrid. I mighta gone a bit overboard with the wing patterns, but I thought it looked mossy, and it looks good. Kind of a funny backstory, when she was first hatched, she wandered away without anyone seeing her. When her mother Moss found her playing in a puddle of mud, she thought the marking were just algae and mud she got on her wings, and spent hours trying to scrape and scrub it off before realizing they were a part of Firefly's wings.

I named her Firefly because 1. SeaWing's scales light up like lightning bugs, and 2. fireflies and such can be found in swampy areas. Therefore, two birds, one stone. Plus, since she was a dragonet, she's loved to walk through the Mud Kingdom at night when the hundreds of thousands of fireflies would be out blinking. She would sometimes even flash her scales with them.

It reminded me of me as a kid. Just like one night a year, in our neighborhood, every firefly would be out blinking about. I'd sit on the roof and watch them for hours. And the next day, they'd be gone, just as quickly as they'd came.

Anyways, enough rambling of my old stories and cryptic symbolism.
