Recap:

"Hello!" Still now answer. I swear if no one answers me soon I'll-

'Hello young one.'

~Now Back To Our Story~

Have you ever had one of those moments when you're so confused, happy, pissed, and sad at the same time? That's how I feel right now. I'm literally so confused right now, I don't know if I should be happy, angry, or sad. That one sentence inside my head was enough to trigger some of the happiest, and saddest memories of my past.

~

'Sparky? Do you want to play a game?'

I had just returned from my daily testing, and was bored out of my mind. So, I asked my one friend if she would like to play with me.

'What do you have in mind, Sweetspark?' I shrugged, not really having an answer.

'I dunno...just something.' Sparky laughs; the sound vibrating inside my head.

'How about...Simon Says? Isn't that what you Earth children call it?' I giggle. Sparky was still trying to figure out our Earth customs.

'Hehe, yes that's what it's called. Do you want to be Simon?'

'I would love to partake in your game. Just one question young one.'

'Yeah Sparky?'

'Who is this Simon character you speak of?'

Her question sent me into a round of giggles, while she just chuckled at my childishness. I remember when Sparky and I played that game. One round in particular really made me laugh....

'Simon says to...walk on the roof.' I stared up at the roof.

'Sparky...how am I supposed to reach the roof?' I could sense her mental frowning.

'You cannot walk on the roof?' I snicker.

'Not really...it's too high...and gravity won't allow it.'

'Gravity? I have never heard of it.' I just shake my head in amusement.

'It's what keeps us on the ground, and not in the air.' Sparky hums in understanding.

'Care to explain further?'

Our simple game of Simon Says, turned into me giving Sparky a two hour teaching lesson on gravity and how it works. I never knew I was that smart, even Sparky was surprised by how bright I was.

~

I had my good moments with Sparky, but I also bad ones. I will never forget my last moment with Sparky...nor will I forget her screams of agony.

'Sparky?' I whimper. I immediately feel a blanket of warmth engulf me.

'What's wrong Sweetspark? Why are you so sad?' I choke on a sob.

'They..they said people are going to try to take me away..' I could feel her anger through our bond; it only made me more upset.

'Shh, it's alright young one. I will not allow them to take you away.' Even as she tried to soothe me, I could hear how her voice wobbled in sadness. For once in my life...Sparky was sad. It just made my anger rise; I hated when Sparky was upset like this.

'And..I won't allow them to take me away from you, Sparky.' I was trying to reassure her, but honestly, I didn't know if I could. I was just a ten year old child. What could I possibly do? Turns out I found out earlier than I thought I would.

As the final guard did his rounds that night, something went wrong. Instead of walking past my room...he entered it.

'Sparky...I don't like this man.' I once again felt warmth engulf me, but this time...it wasn't as strong.

'I..don't either.' That startled me. Her voice was so weak.

'Sparky are you alright?'

....

I received no answer. That really worried me. Sparky always responded to me.

"Hey there." The man says softly as he neared me. On instinct, I backed up until my back was pressed against the wall completely.

"It's alright Tanya, I'm not going to hurt you." I almost believed him then. His voice was soft, and held a caring tone.

Although, the sound of screaming stopped me from doing so. The screams all too familiar.

Sparky's screams.

I turned and glared at the man.

"What are you doing to her?" I hiss, trying to control my anger.

"They're testing the cube thing."

Thing.

That's all Sparky is to them.

A thing.

"Sparky is NOT a thing!" I growl. The man takes a step back.

"Tanya..there is no Sparky. It's just your imagination, a side effect of the testing." Being the stupid child I was, I almost believed him..again. But her screams stopped me. I knew Sparky was real, and I knew the man was lying to me.

"Lies. Sparky is real!" I scream, covering my ears to stop his lies from entering my ears.

'Sparky! Sparky are you alright!?'

.....

'Sparky please!'

.....

That made me snap.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!!??" I scream out in anger. The man stumbles backwards, a horrified expression on his face.

"Your...your eyes!" The man screams, scrambling to get out of the room, but just ends up falling on his face in front of the door. With a confused frown I look into the mirror they placed in my room, and my eyes widen.

One of my eyes is its normal icy blue, but the other one..

Is a crimson red.

"What's..what's happening to me?" I mumble, walking away from the mirror. The guard sighs.

"You're a monster. Don't you get it?" That makes me even angrier; not to mention Sparky's constant screaming.

"I'm not a monster, and if I am, you created me." I snarl, venom laced in every word.

"No you are a monster, and crazy. Sparky doesn't exist!" The guard shouts. Before I have time to react, a female's angry shouting fills my ears.

"LEAVE MY SPARKLING ALONE!" I gasp when I recognize the voice as Sparky's.

"Sparky! Help me!" I scream into the open space as the guard advances on me.

"I have no fucking idea what's going on here, but you're coming with me." I whimper as his hand grips my arm too tight.

"Sparky help me! He's hurting me!" I scream in agony as he tightens his grip. "Please Sparky!" I sob. The guard snickers.

"Don't you get it? Sparky isn't real!" Although...he's proven wrong.

As soon as those words left his mouth, a sound, similar to a lion's roar, echoes throughout the building.

"RELEASE MY SPARKLING!!!" Sparky roars in pure rage. I gasp as the guard goes flying out the door, making me fall to me knees.

"Sp..Sparky." I sob into my knees.

'You need..to go..Tanya.' My eyes widen at the mentioning of my name. Sparky only called me by my name if it was an important circumstance.

'Bu..but Sparky! What about you?'

'Do not fear young one, we still have our bond.' I close my eyes looking for the white cord near my heart.

'I...I don't want to go Sparky.' I sob as more tears leave my eyes.

'I know dear, I know. But you must before they get you.' I rub the tears from my eyes, looking for a way out.

'Where..where do I go Sparky?'

'Left...corridor.' Panic rises inside me as I hear her soft reply. I frantically run down the left corridor as Sparky instructed.

Sure enough an Exit sign is above the last door.

'G...go Swee...Sweetspark.' I feel more tears gather in my eyes as my hand hovers over the handle.

'I...I...' I can't even speak mentally; the pain too much for me.

'I...lo..love..y..you...Sweet..Sweetspark.' I clutch my chest as she sends small waves of love and affection through our bond.

'I love you too Sparky! Forever and always.' A single tears falls from my right eye as I push open the door.

'For..ever..and..al..always.'

Those three words were the last words I heard from Sparky. As soon as I exited the building, I ran for my life.

I ran for my freedom.

I ran away..from Sparky.

The only person who cared about me.

The only being who..loved me.

~End Of Memories~

'Sp...Sparky is that really you?' I don't let my hopes get too high in case it's not.

'Indeed it is Sweetspark.' My eyes widen. I finally found her.

I found Sparky.

~Sexy Line Break~
