Chapter 1
She reached the elevator. No going back after this. She heard footsteps. She turned around and saw Lloyd. "Lloyd?"
"Nya! I, um... I woke up after I heard your footsteps leaving... I read your note. I just wanted to say goodbye... if you're absolutely sure..." he said. She understood that he probably didn't want her to leave. She was a fully trained ninja, and had both hers and Jay's powers. She probably would have done pretty well in the tournament.
"I am absolutely sure, Lloyd. I will find him. And I will fix him, no matter what it takes, even if I die," Nya said. She stepped into the elevator, and went down. Faintly, she heard Lloyd calling 'goodbye'.
His eyes shot open. What was that? Jay sat up on the sleeping bag. He hugged the stuffed elephant as tightly as he could. Jay swore he heard footsteps.
"A campsite? He's probably here!" He heard a voice say. But not just any voice. That lady's voice. From the tournament. What was she doing here? He set down Mr. Cuddlywomp and walked to the door of tent. He grabbed a sword and walked out. He saw her. He was right, it was that lady. She turned around to see him and gasped. "Jay!"
She ran to him, and he stumbled back. "Woah, lady, calm down. Unless you would like a rematch? No powers, fair fight?" He asked.
"No. I don't want to fight you."
He laughed. "Then too bad. I want a fight, I'm getting it." He lunged at her. She dodged easily. He followed her, then attacked. She dodged again. This kept repeating until he had enough. "Stop! Stop dodging me! At least let me pin you with my sword, this is so annoying!"
"Oh? I thought you wanted a fight? Dodging is part of a fight, is it not?" She asked. He threw his sword at her.
"SHUT UP!!!" He screamed. He hated this lady, he hated her more than anything. He opened his eyes to see she was trying to pull the sword out of her gi. She had been stuck to the hillside he his sword. "Ha! I win!"
"Ok, you win, but can you help me pull this stupid sword out of my gi?" She asked. He rolled his eyes and walked over. He tried to pull it out, but to no avail. He tried a second time. Still nothing. The third times the charm though, right? Wrong. He tried the third time and flung backwards, hitting his head on the other hill. "Oof, you ok?" He stuck out a thumbs-up. He stumbled back up and walked over, again.
"How did it get so stuck?" He asked.
