I got woken up by a the front doors of the Twinkie slamming. I heard sirens in the distance.

I sat up and saw JJ driving as quick as possible to get out of there. "Whats going on?" I asked confused.

"Shit. We didn't mean to wake you up, but cops are coming." JJ replied. "What about Kie and John B?" I asked.

"They'll meet us at JJ's like they said" Pope stated. I sat up all the way onto a seat and looked out the window as we drove on the freeway.

"You feel better?" JJ asked me. I looked up to him. "Yeah. That nap helped" I answered with a smile.

When we got to JJ's, we all went out to the garage. When we go to his house, the garage is the hang-out spot. We hung there for a few hours.

"They for sure got caught" Pope stated. "No, Shit" JJ said waxing his surfboard. I smiled at JJ's remark.

I was laying on the couch, texting my mom, letting her know I was okay.

"They'll be fine" I said sitting up. Pope looked at me. "Just hopefully they didn't do anything stupid."

"Yeah, hopefully" said JJ who was focused.

Then we heard a honk. We all looked up and saw John B in the Twinkie. He waved to us and we all got up and walked over to the Twinkie. "Lets ride"  JJ said as he put a cigarette in his mouth.

"Want some?" JJ asked me as John B was driving to The wreck, where Kie works. He tried handing me the cigarette.

"I'm good" I said as we pulled up. John B stopped the car and Pope got out to go get Kie.

After a minute, Pope came back out. "She said she's not comin" He told us. "Why not?" JJ asked.

"What'd you do to her, John B?" I asked him. "Shit" John B said getting out of the car. "Hang on. I'll deal with it" he said to us through the window.

JJ and I exchanged looks. "What the hell?" I asked. JJ shook his head as Pope got back in the van.

John B came back to the van without Kie. "Where is she?" I asked.

"She'll come to Cheatu when she gets off" He replied.

After Kie got to the Cheatu two hours later, I asked her if she could take me to the store. "Ya, of course" Kie said.

She got into the drivers side and I got in the passenger. John B and JJ came around from the backyard.

"Where are you guys going? We've got shit to do"  JJ claimed.

"We'll be back. Calm down, Blondie" I said with a smirk as Kie drove off.

"So have you talked to Rafe today?" Kie asked. I hesitated. Rafe had texted me a few times today but I have yet to respond.

"Uh...no. Not really" I said kind of awkwardly. "Are you okay?" My best friend asked.

"No, not really. But I can't explain right now." I told her. She moved her eyes over to me. "J--" she started but I cut her off.

"Don't ask, okay? I just need to figure something out" I stated as we pulled up to the store. I opened the door and got out.

"You need anything?" I asked. Kie shook her head and I walked away.

As soon as I went into the store, I walked to the feminine product section. I saw a box that had two pregnacy tests. I grabbed it and went to the counter to pay.

I put the tests in my backpack as I walked back to the car. I would take them maybe tomorrow

Later, in the Twinkie, JJ was smoking a blunt of course and I was in the passenger seat for once.

"You mind if I sit out on this one? Its been a long day and a lot of werid stuffs gone down."  JJ asked. "Oh do you want a hit of this?" JJ asked offering the blunt to Pope.

Pope put his hand up. "I keep the signal clear"

"Dude, okay, do you understand that your problem is that you don't get creative?" JJ asked.

I scrunched my nose in confusion. What did that have to do with anything?

"Look, I- I know I was wrong about the lighthouse all right? And wrong about everything else going on. But I was right about one thing. My dad is trying to tell me something." John B said looking over at me. I stared at him with empathy.

We pulled up to a cemetery. "Have fun, ladies" JJ said to us as we got out of the Twinkie.

I looked back at him. "Get your ass up, you're going" JJ looked at me and almost instantly stood up. "You scare me sometimes" JJ said hopping out. "Good" I said playfully as I shut the van door.

John B handed each of us a flashlight and led us through the cemetery. "Come on" John B said to us.

"We're coming. This place is scary" Kie stated in front of me. "John B what are we doing?" I asked.

"Shut up" John B scolded. "Shut your--" JJ started. I looked back at him. "Don't" I demanded.

"You know when you're trying to remember a song and can't remember who sings it?" John B asked.

"Yeah." Kie and I said in unison. "So Redfield. This whole time I thought it was a place, right? But its not a place." John B explained as we walked up to a tall gravestone.

It had the name Redfield on it. "Its a person"

"Voi-effing-la." JJ stated. "See my great grandmother, Olivia Redfield. That was her maiden name." John B stated.

We all looked up at the gravestone. It was really tall for no reason. And apparently there was a door.

"Help me with door, come on" John B stated. Pop walked over to help John B. "There's a door?" I whispered to Kie. "I guess so" Kie replied. 

JJ walked over to help John B and Pope since the door wouldn't budge.

"This doors like 700 pounds, its not gonna open" Pope said.

"We didn't come this far to get this far, all right?" JJ asked.

They budged it open a little bit until a snake came hissing out. I jumped back as I heard the hiss. I hate snakes.

"Snake!" JJ said as the three boys jumped away. "Thanks captain obvious" I said as kept distance.

"That's a moccasin, all right." JJ stated. Then JJ started barking at the snake as it slithered away. I slowly walked closer to them.

"JJ, shut up!" Kie complained as JJ kept barking. Pope pushed JJ's shoulder. "You're gonna wake the dead, man"

"They're afraid of dogs" JJ informed us. Which I think- No, Which I knew was a fake fact.

John B tried walking towards the door again. "Hold on." JJ said grabbing John B's shoulder pulling him back.

"What?" John B asked. "If theres one, there's probably dozens" JJ stated.

My eyes widend as I jumped back again. "What?" I asked scaredly.

"Stop you're scaring me" Kie told the boy. JJ once again, started barking.

"Stop barking at the snakes" John B said. Thats a sentence I never thought I'd hear. But then again, im friends with JJ.

"John, look. We're not gonna get in there, its not budging" Pope warned. "We should just go"

I pointed my flashlight up at the crack that was in the door. It was big enough that I could fit through it. "J, you good?" Kie asked me.

Kie and the three boys looked over to me. "I can get through" I stated, still looking at the door. "What?" Pope asked.

"No. Not in a million years, there could be more snakes" JJ said putting a hand on my shoulder. I rolled my eyes and looked at John B.

"Look, this is about your dad. And honestly I really don't belive in it, but you deserve to know the truth." I said, pushing JJ's hand off me.

John B stared at me like he wanted to say 'thank you' but couldn't get the words out.

"I'll do it" I told my friends. JJ stared at me. "Really?" He asked. I nodded and walked over to the door. "Can you get those?" I asked, pointing to the vines on the stone.

Pope, Lie, and John B moved them. I walked closer to the door. "I'm gonna boost you, all right." JJ stated.

I knew he didn't want me doing this but at least he still helped me.

JJ sat against the wall like he was sitting in a chair. He clasped his hands together. "Ive seen this in a movie several times, ready?" He asked me.

I nodded to JJ. "Remind me what I'm looking for" I told John B.

"You'll know when you see it" John B answered. "That's helpful" Kie said with a scoff.

"Hold my flashlight" Kie took the flashlight from me.

"Okay. So put your hands here and youre foot here and on three--" JJ explained. I did as he said.

Before the boy could even start counting, I jumped up and and climbed to the top. "Nevermind just forget about three" JJ stated. I smiled to myself as he said that.

I jumped inside the grave and yelled out to Kie. "Okay, my flashlight?"

"Yeah, here" Kie said handing me the light. I turned it on and looked around at the walls not making any sound.

"You alive? You got, like, a heartbeat and everything?" John B asked me.

"I think so" I said pointing my flashlight to the stone ceiling. 

"That's good" John B remarked. "Yup" I said blanky.

"Uh, I need some more light" I told the kids outside.

"Yeah, yeah, here I gotcha" John B said holding a lantern near the hole.

I looked around and found a hole in the wall. It looked like a package. It was a package that said "To Bird".

"Did you find anything?" JJ asked. "Is there gold?"

"Oh my god" I said loudly. Everyone was silent. I grabbed the package and gave it to John B through the hole.

"That's not gold" said Pope as I climbed out of the hole and sat down on the ledge. JJ came over and held a hand out.  I grabbed it and jumped down without hurting myself.

"This is from my dad" John B said as I let go of JJ's hand and walked next to them. I smiled up at John B.

"Code red. Code red. Square groupers!" JJ shouted back at us. I looked over and saw him staring outside if the cemetery.

Kie pushes my shoulder as JJ ran our way. We ran behind the grave stone. "Its the guys who robbed the Cheatu" JJ stated.

We all sat down behind the grave. "Lights" I whispered as we all hurried to turn all the flashlights off.

JJ peeked around the corner of the grave and saw a golf cart.

"You think its them?" Kie asked.  "Homie's got a gun" JJ claimed. My eyes widend. I wasn't trying to get killed tonight. "Screw this" I announced. I got up and started running. My friends not far behind.

I could see the men's flashlights in the corner of my eye but I didn't stop running. We got to the gate and climbed up over it. Kie and I got over it first. John B and JJ after that.

As we ran to the twinkie, Pope got his shorts caught on the fence.  "Guys, I'm stuck" Pope complained.

Kie ran over to help Pope. JJ pulled the gun put of his waistband and cocked it.

"Pope, don't move, okay?" JJ instructed. I ran over and pushed the gun down. "JJ! No!" I shouted.

I turned around to see Kie pull Pope down and his shorts rip off. We all started laughing as we jogged to the van.

"Nice, come on dude" JJ said. "Its a little tootsie roll" John B calmied as he opened the door. Kie and I started laughing harder and Pope covered himself.

Kie shut the door as she was the last one in. She sat down with a smile on her face and John B drove off.

"Damn, Pope." I laughed. "Shut up" Pope said clearly embarrassed.

I noticed JJ looked back at me from the passenger seat and smile from the corner of my eye.
