The 118 was called to an emergency on a freeway, where a woman was trying to get her husband's attention. She was standing on an overpass sign and behind her was a big sheet saying "See me Norman.". Kate and Eddie were getting Buck ready to get the woman safe. 

"Hell no! I won't come down until Norman sees me!" Lola yelled to Athena and the rest of the cops. "And don't you try to force me down!"

"Nobody's gonna force you to do anything. We're just gonna talk. What's your name?" Athena said throught the cop car's radio.

"Lola!"

"Lola, my name's Athena. What's the problem?"

"The problem? The problem is, after 30 years of marriage, I can't get 30 seconds of attention from my husband. It's like I'm invisible. But I'm not invisible. I am here, damn it!" Lola yelled angrily. "See me, Norman! See me now." And with these three last words, Lola opened her robe to show her naked body as the crowd cheers.

"Oh, for God's sake." Kate said.

"Definitely not invisible." Eddie said with a sigh.

After a few minutes, a police officer went to get Norman who was also stuck in traffic.

"Lola, good news. We found your man. He's on his way." Athena said.

"I won't come down until he sees me!"

"Ma'am, you're the most famous face in the city right now. There ain't exactly a way to miss you."

"I don't care."

"Okay, move Buck into position." Bobby said into his radio and Buck started going down with Eddie and Kate's help to stand next to the woman. "Okay, Chim." Then Hen, Chim and the rest of the firefighters get an inflatable to prevent Lola from falling.

"No, no, no, no, no! What are you doing? I-I told you! I told you." Lola yelled as she saw the inflatable.

"It's just for your safety, Lola." Athena said and Buck got down on the freeway sign.

"I-I told you!"  Lola yelled and took out a gun from her robe pocket to shoot the inflatable.

"Hold your fire! Hold your fire!" Athena said to the other cops who were pointing at her with their guns. Lola then pointed at Buck with her gun.

Buck threw his hands in the air. Seeing this, Kate's heart skipped a beat. It was her brother that crazy woman was pointing at! She tried to see what's going on, but Eddie put his arm in front of her.

"Eddie." She muttered in anger mixed with concern. He didn't say anything though, only looked down at the two.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey." Buck said to Lola.

"Lola, listen to me very carefully. You now have every firearm on the Greater Los Angeles area pointed to you. If you continue to threaten that man, they will fire. Do you understand? Do you?" Athena warned.

"I don't want to hurt anybody." Lola said as she started putting the gun down which made Eddie and Kate a little bit more relaxed. "I just can't handle being ignored anymore."

Buck thought for a moment before he spoke up. " I know exactly what you mean."

"Oh, come on. Yeah, I'm-I'm sure you get ignored all the time." Lola said sarcastically.

"You have Norman. I had an Abby. You think that you have something... something special, you know? She's the one. So you wait. And then, at some point, it hits you: you're alone. Sh-She's not coming back. You're just there to collect the mail, and-and it is piling up, right? And then, you realize... 'you know what? It's over.'. You just need to face it and move on."

Norman finally arrived with a police officer.

"Uh, L-Lola. Lola, honey, it's me. I'm here. And I see you, just like the sign says." Norman said through the radio.

"Liar! You look right through me. Y-You don't even notice me. I-I'm just around to... collect the mail."

"Lola, honey. Honey, now, listen to me. I-I'm here, and I see you. And I need you to put down the gun, okay? Put the... put down the gun and let them bring you to me. And then we can spend the rest of our life together, and I can show you how much I love you."

"I don't believe you, Norman! You don't even know who I am anymore. I mean... I don't even know. I've been a mother for 18 years, and now that Zack's gone I don't remember who I was before that. Back when you used to look at me." Lola said. 

"Maybe, you're right. Maybe it is over." She said as she took a step foward to fall but Buck stopped her.

"Uh, n-no, no, no, no. Um, okay, maybe I wasn't being super clear on the point I was trying to make..." Buck said but got cut off when he heard "In Your Eyes", a song by Peter Gabriel, playing on the radio. It was Norman who was playing it.

"Oh, my God. That song. He remebered." Lola said with a smile now on her face. "It was our first date. We went to see Say Anything..."

"I see you. I see you. Lola, I see you. I see the girl who used to sneak out to the beach bonfires and listen to The Psychedelic Furs and The Cure. Lola! Lola, I see you! I see the girl who once drank nine shots of Janger and woke up without a hangover! Lola, I see you! I see the girl I love!" Norman said as the crowd cheered.

"I think I wanna get down now." Lola said to Buck as he slowly took the gun out of her hand and handed it to Eddie.

The couple was finally together and happy again, but Lola had to get arrested.

On their next shift, they got called to a gas station that was being robbed and the robbers needed medical assistance. All the way there, Buck was telling the team about the night before where he went to a bar and found Taylor Kelly, and had sex with her. Kate hated the idea of Buck seeing Taylor for two reasons. First, she didn't like her and second, she was afraid that Buck could be getting into his sex addiction phase again. 

"Seriously, you're telling me Taylor Kelly, the reporter?" Bobby asked confused as he looked at Kate who had an unamused expression. 

"Yeah." Buck said.

"Great..." Kate said sarcastically and sighed. She couldn't hear anymore of that conversation. She gave up walking with Bobby and Buck and went to help Eddie take the gurney out of the ambulance.

"Can't stand him?" Eddie asked her as they started to go inside the store of the gas station.

"Nope. He's been so annoying. I'm kind of worried though. I don't want him to, you know, get on that phase again." Kate says as he chuckled. They got to one of the robbers who was hancuffed against a vending machine.

"Bonnie and Clyde meets Dumb and Dumber." Athena said.

"He seems fine." Kate said.

"Pupils are dilated. Definintely high on something." Eddie added.

"Well, I'll try to contain my shock." Kate joked.

"Get him out of here." Athena said to the other two police officers. Eddie and Kate walked to the rest of the group.

"Stay strong, baby bear." The man said as he was taken away.

"I'm not your baby bear, jackass. Men are the worst, right?" The woman asked Hen.

"You're asking the wrong girl."Hen said after scoffing.

Buck spoke up, again about Taylor. "I really like her, you know." At this, Kate and Eddie sighed and started to walk faster to the front of the gurney. "And not just 'cause she's a redhead, but now if I do want to call and, you know, ask her out she's gonna think I'm only after one thing."

"You are only after one thing. Jerk." The woman said. Eddie and Kate turned their heads with confused expressions to face the woman.

"You don't even know me." Buck defended himself.

"You're a man. I know enough." The woman snapped. Kate and Eddie turned their heads again with smirks on their faces.

"Can I get a little something for the pain?" The woman asked.

"Pretty sure you took that before you walked in here." Hen joked and Kate and Eddie chuckled.

Their next call was in the middle of the mountain woods where a car drifted into the car where the victims were and when the driver tried to avoid getting hit, the car went off the road. The car was wrapped tight around the tree that they hit. They managed to get the bride out of the car with the Jaws. They were still trying to get the groom out, though. It was getting late so they had to set lights. Chim, Eddie and Kate got into the car to evaluate the driver's, Paul, status.

"Hang in there, Paul. We're gonna get ou out." Eddie reassured Paul.

"You ready? Damn, there's as much tree here as car." Chim said to Kate and Eddie as he got in.

"Easy." Eddie said as he and Chim started taking a large branch of the tree off the car.

"He's breathing's shallow. Pulse is weak, he's lost a lot of blood." Kate said.

"So... tired." They heard Paul say as he faded away a little.

"No, no, no, no, no. Hey, hey, hey. Tell me about Katy. How'd you guys meet, huh?" Eddie asked Paul to keep him awake. Kate looked at Eddie.

"Summer camp." Paul said.

"Yeah?" Kate said.

"We were... six. I-I saw her... And-and she saw me. That's when-when it hit the first time." Kate small smiled a little.

"Okay, buddy, we're gonna get you out of here." Kate reassured. "Don't worry. Everything's fine." She said as she and Eddie started getting out of the car.

"All right. Eddie, Kate. Clear the vehicle." Bobby ordered. "We secure?" He asked the pair.

"Yep." 

They managed to take Paul out safely. He groaned in pain while going to the abulance.

They got back to the station. Kate, Eddie and Buck were getting ready to go home on the locker room.

"You know, maybe I should ask her out." Buck said after a few minutes of silence.

"Can you just do that? I'm tired of listening to you." Kate said as Eddie chuckled a bit.

"Yeah, you're not the only one." Eddie said.

"Aha, you guys are really funny. I'm just saying..." Buck started but got cut off by Kate.

"Okay..." She sighed as she tried to take his phone out of his pocket.

"What are you doing?" Buck asked confused. Kate was finally able to take his phone.

"Do you know what this is?" Kate asked while holding his phone in front of his face. He nodded confused. "Okay." She unlocked his phone with his fingertip and opened the pcontacts app. "And do you know what this is?" He nodded. "Okay, now search for Taylor Kelly in your contacts and call her, damn it!" Buck and Eddie looked at her with surprised expressions. "Now!"

"Okay, fine." Buck said as he got pushed by Kate who sighed when he left.

"Thank God." She muttered.

"Thank you." Eddie joked as she laughed a little.

"So, how's Chris?" She asked, changing the subject.

"Oh, he's fine, yeah." Eddie said with a smile on his face. He loved that she cared about him as much as he did.

"That's great." Kate said as she finished getting ready. "Well, tell him I say hello." She said as she walked out.

"Will do."

She turned around before leaving. "Good night, Eds." Her smile grew on her face.

"Good night, Kate." He smiled back at her and watched her as she left.

Hello, hello!! This chapter was kinda lame. I didn't really like it. It was kind of dry on Eddie and Kate scenes. Sorry about that. I hope I get some more scenes on the next chapter.
