Tale of Joy or Sadness

AN: So sorry! I forgot to continue writing. This may or may not be a long chapter. I am so sorry!

Previously on Spade King?
All of the Royals were coming. Matthew had climbed a pillar to watch the sea for the Diamondback, the flag ship of the Diamond Kingdom to arrive so that Matthew could see Francis once again. The King of Diamonds was like his uncle or his father and had helped raise him. He hoped that someday his twin would arrive so that The Ace, John, could finally have peace. The Royals were calling for him to climb down.
"Matthew! Get down, Aru! You break neck doing stupid thing like that!" Yao scolded.
"I'll make-a you some spaghetti and pasta!" Feli called.
"Please come down!" John pleaded.
"I can make him come down if you veally vant him." Ivan said with a grin that chilled the others.
"IVAN! DON'T YOU DARE THREATEN THE POOR BOY! HE STILL HAS TIME TO BE STUPID!" Aly berated her husband, King Ivan. She was grinning the grin that meant that she had just pranked someone.
"Vhere have you been!" Ludwig scolded.
"Around." Aly sassed. She placed her hands on her hips. "Where I go is of no importance to you. It's not even your business! Just leave me alone. I already promised Ivan that I would be back before the Diamondback reached the harbor. Just chill, Luddy. It's not that bad." Aly ranted. Ivan smiled and kissed his wife. He really did love his sunflower.
"Spotted anything kiddo?" Aly called up.
"Yeah. A ship is on the horizon but it appears to be in a battle with Heart Pirates. I can make out a blue sail coming closer to the battle!" Matthew informed them. "The other ships are fleeing and it looks like they didn't even fight the blue sailed ship."
"Did you say blue sail?" John asked.
"Yep. It is keeping its distance from the Diamondback though." Matthew reported.
The royals sighed. The ship was still a long way away, maybe a day away. They would deal with that later.
The next day was July fourth. Spadia was half joyful and half sorrowful on this day. It was the day that the new royals were born and the day that one was lost.
On the Britannia, Arthur was fixing Alfred's bandages before the boy woke up. He gently removed the bandage to reveal the King's mark. He gasped softly before running to the top deck.
"Set a course for Spadia boys. Looks like we found our king!" Arthur said with a smile. The crew smiled, getting the ship going. The Diamondback was following the spadian ship under the urging of King Francis.
"My Queen, does this be our last voyage o'er the yonder?" A man called out.
"Yes. Share the booty and be ready for when I call you back into duty, aye?" Arthur asked. "Aye aye, Captain Kirkland." Some of the crew called.
"I can't hear you!" Arthur replied.
"AYE AYE CAPTAIN!" The crew roared. Arthur smiled before heading down to check on Alfred. The boy was awake but terrified.
"Calm down there. No one's going to hurt you here." Arthur soothed, taking the much too small teen into his arms. The boy started to cry softly. "Hush, it will be alright, Alfred. Hush. That's it. Calm down, my prince. You will be alright, my king." Arthur murmured. Alfred fell asleep to his murmuring. Remember that this is no happily ever after....
