We followed the instructors into a room where we were separated. We each went to individual rooms and were told to lay down on the operating table.

'What's happening? Did we do anything wrong?' I ask the male doctor.

'No you haven't done anything wrong. We are simply making you better' He says.

I look at him confused. 'What do you mean better?' I ask, fear seeping through me.

'Each of you are already the best soldiers alive. We, however, want more. We will make each of you gods, completely indestructible. Each individual being able to face entire armies and not perish' The Doctor says, obsession in her voice.

Creepy I thought.

'What if we don't want this' I ask.

The doctor looks at me, giving me the "Are you seriously asking me that" look.

'You don't have a choice. Non of you do, you in particular' He states.

'Why me in particularly?' I ask confused.

The doctor looks at me, stopping whatever he was doing.

'Why? Because, you have never been beaten in combat, your team has never been beaten with you leading them. Because you are possibly the greatest leader alive!' He raises his voice.

I was about to ask another question, hoping to annoy him and stall, when I get poked by a needle on my neck.

The last thing I remember was me thinking, NOT AGAIN!

FIVE DAYS LATER AFTER THE OPERATION...

Feeling like every bone in my body was just broken, put back together and shoved back in my body, I wake up.

I look around and see that I'm in a hospital bed of sorts.

I try to get up but can't seem to move. I look down and see that I'm tied to the bed.

'This is just great' I mumble.

I try to yell but can't seem to find my voice.

I start to panic. Where I'd my team? Where is Tabby? I start struggling and easily enough I break the binds keeping my hands tied to the bed and move on to freeing my legs.

I head out the door and go room by room, looking for my team, especially Tabby.

As I get to the end of the long hall, a nurse comes up to me and tries to push me back to my room. For some reason it looked like she was moving in slow motion.

'What the hell is going on?' I ask.

She responds, but again, its in slow motion. I walk away from her and keep looking for my team. I turn right at the end of the hallway and peek through the nearest room. Pushing past it, I walk to the next room when I'm grabbed by three pairs of hands.

I turn around and push the doctors away, causing them to fly across the hall.

I look at my hands, 'What the hell?'

Just then I feel a small sting on my lower back. I turn around to find a guard aiming what looked like a dart gun. I move my right hand towards the sting area and pull out a dart.

I look at the guard, giving him the ARE YOU SERIOUS look.

I start walking to him, grabbing him by his shirt and flinging him all the way to the end of the hallway. I look away when I hear a crunch sound as he hits the wall. Oops.

I run through every room to find it occupied by other people.

Turning into another hallway I race across it looking at each room.

I almost turned around when I heard a scream.

I run in the direction it came from, smashing open the door.

I look and find Tabby.

'Tabby!' I practically scream.

'Nicolas!' She screams back.

I rush to her side and push the doctor out of the room.

'Are you alright?' I ask, cupping her face in my hands.

She nods, 'Yes, I just woke up. What happened?' She asks frantic.

I shake my head. 'I don't know, I just woke up too. Everyone seems to be moving in slow motion. Your the only one moving normal' I reply.

I sense movement by the door and turn to see doctors slowly moving towards me and tabby, a syringe on their hands.

I instantly get in a protective stance in front of Tabby. 'Stay away' I said, my voice slowly coming back to me.

I look to my left and see a pair of scissors. I grab it quickly, holding it as if it were a knife.

The scientists and doctors slowly back away, moving away from the door.

Standing in the doorway, I see my commanding officer, the instructor.

'Put the scissors down boy' He barks.

I slowly put my hand down and take a step back. 'Good, now come along. Everyone is waiting for you' He says, in slow motion.

'Not without Tabby I won't' I state, my voice almost as strong as before.

'She's part of your team, is she not? She comes too' He says.

I nod my head and turn to Tabby, breaking the restraints and helping her to her feet.

'Thank you' She says.

'Anytime Tabby' I say giving her a quick kiss.

She smiles and we turn to follow the instructor.

We follow the instructor to an elevator, taking it all the way up.

Once at the top, the door opens to reveal a huge room full of the different teams. There must be at least three hundred people, four hundred max.

I step out the elevator and see Travis heading towards us. He looks different somehow I thought.

As I look at him, he seems a big taller. I look at the instructor and notice he is somehow shorter.

'Did you shrink?' I finally ask the instructor.

He rolls his eyes and signals me to follow.

I meet up with Travis and shake his extended hand.

'There you are. We were afraid you were in a coma, the both of you' He says seeing Tabby.

'Do you know what happened?' I ask him.

He shrugs. 'I asked that, they said we would know whenever you came up here.

I nod my head and head to where the instructor disappeared to, Tabby's hand locked in mine.

Entering a round room, me and Tabby find a seat and wait for the instructor to start talking.

The instructor gets up and walks to the front of the room.

'As many of you are wondering, We performed a series of experiments on you. Some side effects may occur, some we have for seen, some we have not' The instructor begins.

'As of right now, you are all Gods of war, your strength increased more than a tenth fold. Your speed increased to almost the speed of light. You are immune to all poisons and deceases. Your eye sight has also been vastly improved, your sense of hearing as well. And finally your reaction times vastly improved, almost like you can sense an attack before it ever happens' The instructor finishes.

'Any questions?' He asks.

We are all shocked by this information. We just couldn't form words.

'Good. Now to the reason we sped up your training. As of last night we have lost communication with one of our colonies, The colony being Rancor' I gasp.

Rancor, that's my home! That's where my sister is. I immediately get up from my chair.

'Sit down Captain Vega. We are not done' The instructor orders.

I stay standing for another minutes before finally sitting back down, holding on to Tabby's hand for dear life.

'How did you lose communication with such a well developed colony? Last I heard it even has its own military' Tabby asks.

'We do not know' The instructor says.

'If you do not know, why are we being told. Shouldn't you be sending men to scout out Rancor?' I ask angrily.

The instructor looks at me and smiles. 'We are sending in men, You and your small army of super soldiers have been chosen to investigate, and if need be, retake that colony...preferably still intact' He replies.

'You mean we will finally have a real assignment?' Tabby asks hopeful.

'Its more of a test run, but that's another way of putting it' The instructor shrugs.

I nodded. The room goes silent, the only noise is the door opening. We all turn and see a well dressed man walk into the room, as if he owned it.

I give him a dark look until I see his rank. Shit, maybe he does own this room, I thought.

Everyone in the room immediately shoot up from their seats and salute him, me included.

In his hand, he carried a rolled up paper. When he gets to the front of the room, he unfolds the paper and, clearing his throat, he starts to speak.

'Good afternoon everyone. Its good that we are all here. I come by the Emperor's orders' He starts, his voice full if authority.

We all seat in silence, waiting to hear what he has to say.

'The Emperor has ordered me to deliver a massage' He says unfolding the paper.

'I Emperor Titus, Hereby promote Captain Nicolas Vegas to High Commander of the Super Soldiers that will now be known as the Steel Wolves. With the rank comes your first task, You are to leave to Rancor and find out what happened. If the rumors are true and Rancor is indeed under world siege, Your orders are to terminate the enemy and, if possible, take the enemy leaders alive. Anyone else is to be terminated, To help in your mission, warship has been made for the deployment and full use of the Steel Wolves' The man says.

I look at the man with an ARE YOU SERIOUS face. His serious face said it all, the guy was serious. I now outranked everyone in the room except the mysterious guy.

'Where is th- I mean my ship located? I ask the man.

'Over in our Overlord Shipyard' He replies as he walks up to me and hands me my rank and the paper he was holding. Then he walks out the door.

That's one weird dude I thought.

I then walked out to the room where all Four Hundred Steel Wolves were at eating.

Everyone looks up at me, knowing looks on all of their eyes. Seems everyone got the super hearing ability I got.

'I assume you all heard what was discussed in the meeting. We have our work cut out for us. The Emperor has chosen us to retake our colony back, and that's exactly what we are gonna do' I Say, my voice filling up with newfound authority.

Everyone stands at attention and solutes. I return the salute. 'Grab your gear and all the ammo we can carry, we leave tomorrow. Now report to the ship' I order.

Everyone turns and walks to the stairs. I can't help but feel a sense of pride. I can't believe I got chosen to lead an outstanding small army.

LATER THAT DAY ONBOARD THE STEEL WOLVES' SHIP...

Stepping out of the Drop ship, Tabby and I make our way to meet with the XO of the ship.

'Welcome to your ship sir, I'm your XO Lt. James Nikko' Nikko says giving me a quick salute.

I return it and turn my attention to the opposite side of the hangar to where three very large Cargo ships are docked with men pulling out large and tall steel crates.

'What's going on over there?' I ask gesturing towards the Cargo Ships.

'We received those crates from the Emperor himself. We got strict orders to not open them, only you can do that, so I have no idea what's inside those crates' Nikko shrugs.

I give him a nod. 'Then we'd best find out then' I say almost excited. I look at Tabby and see she wants to know what's inside them too.

We walk over to where one of the crates were and I look for a button that says open. Not finding one, I punch the crate, making a first sized hole in it.

Immediately two unloaders run to me and open their mouths to yell at me for breaking the crate when they see my rank and name on my Military jacket.

'Sir! We were unaware you were aboard the ship, my apologies' The unloader says saluting. I salute him back.

'How do I open these crates' I ask.

'You need to place your hand on the scanner here and say 'Open' The man says.

'Oh, thanks' I say moving my hand to the scanner.

I say the word open to the little holes beside the scanner and the crate breaks apart.

Replacing the now broken crate is an eight foot Heavy plate armor. I look at it, impressed by the craftsmanship of the armor.

The color of the armor is completely Black, With the design of a wolf's head in the chest. The wolf's head was outlined dark gray, the eyes being red and the wolf's entire head Steel colored. Hanging by the shoulders is a massive cape made of what I'm assuming to be wolf fur. The shoulder plates also have a wolf's head etched in the center. To say I'm in love with my armor would be a major understatement. I see a note on the neck area of the armor and pick it up reading it aloud.

'This armor is for the Steel Wolves, and them alone.

This particular armor is for High Commander Nicolas Vega.

May the Emperor's enemies fall to their knees in fear at the sight of this

armor.

Emperor Titus.

I smile and touch the wolf's head. Instantly the armor looks like its coming to life and it opens up. I look at it to see if its some sort of trap, then shrug it off. I just wanna get inside of it, I thought excited.

Once inside the armor closes itself again and the red eyes of the wolf seem to start to glow. This is awesome! I flex my arms and make fists with the now armored hands. I walk up to one of the Cargo ships and punch the side of it, my fist moving too fast for even me to keep track of, stopping on the other side of the ship.

'Holy shit!' I gasp. Its like another upgrade all over again.

I pull my hand out of the hole and give an apologetic smile to the unloaders who just shrug, 'I don't care, that was awesome!' one of the unloaders says, mouth wide open.

I walk over to Tabby who looks in disbelief. 'You punch as fast as I do now!' She says.

I nod my head, Still trying to believe it myself.

'Screw it' She says as she walks over to another crate. She puts her hand on the scanner and murmured 'Open' and it did, revealing the same armor but a dark gray instead of black and no cape.

By then most of the Steel Wolves were running to the crates opening them and putting on the armor. After everyone had one on I move to the front of the Four hundred men and women.

'Alright guys, since this is new to us, I want each of you to wear the armor until you get adjusted to it. I believe there is a training center in a floor or two, I want each of you to log two hours minimum in the shooting range with the armor and an hour of hand to hand combat. Also if you prefer, you can use melee weapons to train as well' I ordered.

Everyone looks happy at this order. I know for sure I'm going to log more than an hour in training with my new armor.

After a short while of just touring the ship, I give the order to launch. I was planning on leaving tomorrow but the worry I'm feeling for my dear sister is almost too much to bear. I may have forgotten some, if not most, of my childhood, but I definitely remember my sister. And if anyone has hurt her, they better start praying, because nothing short of God will stop me from tearing them to pieces.

Sorry for the wait guys and girls. I actually had to go to school today :( Tomorrow I'm definitely going to update but it may take a little while since I will be at school everything.
