We made it to the city before the sun went down. What we found were more alien enemies sacking the city.

'Alright. All units, move in nice and easy. Go silent!' I ordered my men.

I was planning on taking as many enemies as we can before they spot us and shoot back at us. Not that their weapons even make a scratch on our armor, but still.

We moved into the city, silent as shadow. Nobody noticed us creeping in. I took out my knife and took out about a hundred enemies from behind before an alien spotted us and opened fire.

'All units, Weapons free! I repeat, weapons free! Unload on these assholes!' I ordered.

Immediately my men tucked their knifes away and shouldered their rifles. Our response to their fire was instant and executed swiftly.

In one swift movement we aimed our rifles and in unison, shot down the remaining Enemy threats. One by one, the bastards fell to the floor motionless. When the last one hit the ground, we spread out across the city.

'Alright men, secure the city. I want the entire place cleansed of aliens and the walls fortified!' I ordered through the comm channel.

I walked to the military base that was located in the city. I quickly found the Officer in charge and walked towards him.

'Who the hell are you?' He asks menacingly.

'We are the Steel Wolves, sent by the Emperor himself to check what's going on here. When he found out we were being invaded, he sent us to repel the invaders and drive them from Imperial Controlled Space. I'm High Commander Vega. And you will do well to address me as such Lieutenant' I barked in his face.

'Sorry my lord, I had no idea. Is there anything I can help you with?' He asked nervously.

'Yes there is. I want you to gather your men and help my men clear the city of enemy invaders. And send a company to the walls to keep enemies out of the city' I ordered.

The lieutenant bowed and went to complete my orders.

Then I cursed myself. Damn it, I forgot to ask for a transport to my sisters house. Oh well, guess I'm walking.

I walked for half an hour with tabby right beside me. We were going to see my sister. I hope she is still there.

We turned right at the end of the street and came upon my old home.

I knocked on the door warily. I was scared of what I would find.

I was snapped out of my thoughts as the door opened to reveal a girl that can only be my sister. She peeked out of the doorway scared. And I saw why.

She had a bruise on her right cheek and her left eye was swollen. So swollen it was closed. I looked at her body and noticed bruises all over her. Cuts all over her hands and legs. One was even bleeding as if it just happened!

I was shaking with anger. Anger I hasn't felt in a while. Tears were coming out of my eyes. I couldn't stop them from falling, no matter how hard I tried.

I took off my helmet and tossed it on the ground. And I ran to my sister, taking her in a huge hug. And she hugged me back as she realized who I was.

'Brother!' She whispered, with tears rolling down her face. She hugged me tighter still.

'It's ok sister, I'm here now and I'm never leaving again, I promise!' I whispered back.

My sister just buried her face in my chest, crying and sobbing uncontrollably. She looked so frail, so broken. I was going to kill whoever did this. And I had a feeling I knew exactly who it was.

AUTHOR'S NOTE.

Hey guys, sorry for the super late update. I've been busy packing my stuff and putting them in the truck. Then I drove to my new house and unpacked everything and well I have just been super busy!

But I'm almost done unpacking! Which is good news because I will be able to update again sometime this week!
