☼ᴀᴡᴋᴡᴀʀᴅ☾

Sonny had spent her whole day helping Moon set up for the big end of summer party she hosts every year and this being the first time Sonnys going, Moon wanted to make it big.

She was hanging up little streamers when the door bell rang. Sonny sighed, setting the tape on the table as she peaked her head out the sliding door to Moon who was setting up drinks. "Moon! People are here!" Sonny screamed and Moon threw a thumbs up.

Sonny went towards the door, a skip in her step as she opened the door, her smile silent starting to face at Hawk standing right in front of her. "What... What are you doing here?" She slowly asked and Hawks brows furrowed as he smirked. "We were invited. What are you doing here?"

Sonny opened her mouth slightly, titling her head as she gave him a confused look. "Uh... This is my girlfriends house." Sonny started to fiddle with the bracelet that sat on her wrist, the bracelet Eli always messed with when their arms were linked and he was nervous.

Hawks eyes fell to her wrist, his demeanor changing slightly as he turned to look back up at Sonny. Sonny watched as he went to speak but before he could, Miguel ran over from the back of the group, pulling Sonny into a hug. Sonny shrieked, hugging back as she let out a small chuckle.

"I haven't seen you in a while!" Miguel groaned, pulling away from Sonny. The girl chuckled, slowly nodding her head as she winced a little. It really was a minute since she's seen Miguel. "I know, I'm so sorry."

Miguel shrugged, waving off the girls words. "It's fine. Hey! How's Miyagi-Do?" He asked, his eyebrows raising and a smile growing on his face. Sonny froze slightly at the question, not expecting him to be so okay with her being in his 'rival' dojo considering almost everyone else in Cobra Kai was angry with her.

Sonny smiled, nodding her head. "It's good. I really like it." Miguel smiled at Sonny, pulling her into another hug. "That's great!"

"Miguel!" A voice screamed, making the two pull away. Sonny's eyes landed on Tory and she smiled at the blonde once she reached Miguel's side. Tory sent the girl a small smile as she started to pull Miguel away from Sonny. "We should get inside."

Miguel quickly nodded, walking in with the rest of Cobra Kai as Tory stayed back a few seconds after, glaring at Sonny. Sonny did a double take at the gesture before scoffing and walking into the house.

"Stupid karate rivalry." Sonny grumbled, walking into the house and ignoring the glares Cobra Kai was giving her.

If they had such a big problem with her, why would they go to her girlfriends party?

It was maybe around half an hour of what Sonny considered torture before Miyagi-Do walked in. Sonny let out a breath of relief she didn't even know she was holding in and immediately ran over to them. They were already glaring at the Cobra Kai's sitting on Moon's couch across from them, but once they saw Sonny, they paused their rivalry to greet the girl.

"Hi! You guys look great! I didn't know she invited them. I promise." Sonny rambled as a greeting as she hugged her tea.

"Sam! I'm so glad you came." Moon cheered, squishing through the crowd of people to stand beside Sonny. "Kegs are out back, drinks are in the kitchen, and the vegan pigs in a blanket just got out of the oven."

Sam looked to Moon before looking passed her to the Cobra Kai's. "Moon, you never said anything about inviting Cobra Kai." Sam whispered so the team she was talking about across the room wouldn't hear her.

Moon sighed, tilting her head to the side as she grabbed Sonny's hand. "Well, I figured with summer ending and school starting back up, we could stop all fighting and be friends again."

"It's wishful thinking." Sam grumbled, making Moon sigh. Sonny swallowed the lump in her throat, feeling the stares in the back of her head like lasers.

"Sam, trust me. Like I told Sonny, get rid of all this negative energy. Clear your chakras and have some fun." Moon smiled, squeezing Sonny's hand and pulling her outside. Sonny turned back around to Miyagi- Do, mouthing "I'm sorry" before walking out with Moon.

"You okay?" A voice behind Sonny asked, making her jump before she calmed down, realizing it was Demetri. Sonny sighed, pulling her lips into a line as she nodded. 

"Yeah, I'm just tired from planning this thing. I mean... who knew decorating a party was more tiring than going to one?" Sonny asked before she sighed, looking around the room at all of her classmates either drinking out of a red solo cup or a bottle of beer. "Plus, everyone's drinking. Feels weird to be the only one not."

Demetri's eyebrows raised at that and he lifted his own red cup. "The only beer this is, is root beer." Demetri reassured before bringing the cup to his lips. "Have no fear."

As he took a sip of his drink, Demetri noticed Hawk sitting alone on the couch. Demetri slowly turned to Sonny who was already looking at him. They didn't even need to say anything out loud. The two of them had a silent conversation in their heads before they walked over to Hawk, taking the seats beside him on the empty couch, Sonny on Hawk's left and Demetri squished beside her.

"You check out the new Doctor Who trailer?" Demetri sighed out, slowly up from his cup and to Hawk as Sonny watched him with raised eyebrows, picking at her nail polish. 

"I don't watch nerd shit." Hawk scoffed. Sonny shut her eyes and dropped her head. She licked her teeth at the fact that Hawk had to make everything an insult now. 

"You know, uh, Moffat isn't the show runner anymore." Sonny spat more aggressive than she planned, but she liked how it came out.

After not hearing an immediate insult from Hawk, Sonny slowly lifted her head up to see him looking at her in shock. "Wait, really? Since when? Is there a new Doctor? What's he like?" He rambled, the corner of his lisp twitching upward.

Demetri turned to Sonny with a knowing smirk, making Sonny turn to Hawk and smile. "Oh. She's badass." Hawks jaw dropped as he looked back and forth between Demetri and Sonny. "She? No way."

Sonny smiled. Her stomach churned a little bit, missing Hawk or more so Eli. If he was still this excited about thing Eli used to like, maybe Eli was still in there. Her eyebrows raised and her head tilted sheepishly. "Maybe you guys can come over some time and we can have you watch it. Jess can make popcorn... It'll be like old times."

Hawk turned to Sonny, looking at her with big eyes before he scoffed, taking a sip of his drink and shaking his head. "I don't hang out with losers."

Sonny sighed, looking back to her lap in defeat. From the other side of her, Demetri scoffed, rolling his eyes at Hawk's attitude. "There's that lovable attitude." He grumbled as he placed a hand on Hawk's shoulder. "I think you need a healthy dose of inner peace. It's worked for me."

Hawk turned to the two with raised eyebrows. "Oh, yeah?" He asked and Sonny looked back up and smiled while Demetri nodded. "Yeah." 

Hawk's shocked face turned into a smirk as he stood up and before Sonny or Demetri could process it, Hawk spilt his beer all over the two and once it was empty, he threw cup at Sonnys chest. "That's what I thought. Still pussies."

Sonny shut her eyes to make sure no alcohol got in them as she quickly stood up. Moon, walking in from outside, set her eyes on Sonny and immediately ran over. 

"Oh my God! Baby, what happened?!" Moon shrieked. Sonny stumbled over her words. She forced her eyes open to look toward Hawk, but she froze when he was no longer in front of her.

As beer started to drip into her eyes, Sonny shut her eyes again and turned her head in the direction she heard Moon. "Can I just borrow some clothes?" Sonny asked, her voice shaking a little. Moon looked back and forth between Demetri and Sonny before ushering the two toward the hallway that led to the bedrooms. 

When they passed her parents room, Moon tugged Demetri inside and after digging through a couple drawers, handed him a t-shirt and sweats. He muttered a small thank you that Moon reassured wasn't needed before she closed the door behind her and led Sonny to her room.

When they got to the room, Moon made sure no one was in there before closing the door. "Choose anything you'd like." Moon whispered, pointing at her closet. Sonny smiled, looking for something to wear when she came across a Beabadoobee hoodie.

Moon smiled at Sonny's choice before her face went red and she nervously cleared her throat. Sonny had taken off her beer drenched shirt, having a bra underneath of course as she tried get the sweatshirt off its hanger but kept fumbling instead.

"Do you need some help?" Moon asked quietly. Sonny let out a struggled laugh, let Moon know she did need help. Moon giggled, walking up to Sonny and taking the hanger with the sweatshirt out of her hands. She slowly took the sweatshirt off it's hanger and went to hand Sonny the sweatshirt.

Sonny looked up at Moon, feeling herself blush at their close proximity and in a quick instant, Moon dropped the hanger and the sweatshirt, cupping Sonnys face in her hands and smashing her lips into hers.

Sonny immediately kissed back, her hands wrapping around Moons neck as Moons left Sonny cheeks, falling to Sonnys exposed waist.

Sonny felt herself walking backwards until her legs hit the bed and Moon almost immediately pushed Sonny onto the bed. Moon stood into he edge in front of Sonny and quickly ripped off her shirt, before going on top of Sonny.

Moons lips collided with the crook of Sonnys neck, leaving small kisses as she slowly started to trail up Sonny neck until she got back to her lips.

Sonny hummed as hers lips met Moons again, feeling Moons hands travel up and down her sides. Moon gave the girl once last kiss on her lips before starting to kiss down her neck again, this time, trying to leave marks.

"Excuse me! I'd like to make a toast." Sonny and Moon could faintly hear, making the two girls slowly pull away, groaning. "Oh, God. What is he doing?" Sonny groaned out as Moon scoffed. "Ruining the moment, that's for sure."

"To Eli Moskowitz!" Demetri's muffled voice announced, making Sonny and Moon's eyes go wide, the moment now completely ruined. 

"Shit!" Sonny yelled, picking up Moon's sweatshirt and throwing it on as she ran out of the room and towards the living room where Demetri's voice grew louder and louder. 

"Oh. I'm sorry, some of you might know him as Hawk."

"No, no, no, no." Sonny mumbled, trying to get through the crowd and stop Demetri. 

"But underneath that crazy clown cosplay and whatever type of Manic Panic he dumps in his hair, he's still good old Eli. My binary brother."

When Sonny finally got through the crowd, she went to get on stage to stop Demetri, but Chris stuck his arm out, blocking her way. Sonny looked at him like he was crazy, her eyes wide as she pointed to Demetri. "Chris, what the hell are you doing? Do you want to get Demi killed?"

"Well, he was my binary brother. You know what he is now? A real zero." Demetri hummed into the mic, a fake pout on his face. Chris sighed, looking back to Demetri before turning to Sonny. "Just let him do this."

"All right, that's enough, Demetri." Hawk screamed from a few feet behind Sonny. Demetri chuckled, pointing at him. "Don't let that angry red hairdo fool you. He's a big softie. He and Sonny would watch Mean Girls and Eli here... practically knew the whole movie by heart. We watched every Harry Potter movie together. And he bawled like a baby when Dobby died."

Sonny cringed as the crowd laughed. She tried to see if she could sneak passed Chris since he was watching Demetri talk, but every time she would try to move, Chris would follow. It was like he had eyes on the back of his head.

"All right, if he doesn't shut up, I'm going to shut him up." Hawk spat from behind Sonny, but the girl couldn't hear him. He went to go to the 'stage' but Mitch stopped him. "Remember what Sensei said about showing mercy."

Hawk glared at Mitch before turning to Sonny. He pushed her shoulder, making her stumble forward a little bit. Sonny turned around with her jaw slacked and her eyes wide. "What the hell is your problem?" Sonny spat.

Hawk's eyebrows raised, his hand raising to point at Demetri behind her. "Aren't you gonna stop him?"

Sonny looked at Hawk with a slight glare, clenching her jaw. She tilted her head to the side and smirked. "No, I think I'll let him keep going if you're gonna keep being an ass."

Hawk and Mitch glared at her, Mitch taking a step towards her but Hawk put his hand out, pushing him back.

"In the words of Eli's hero, Steve Jobs, I've got one more thing. Have any of you heard of sleep enuresis?" Demetri asked, making both Sonny and Hawk freeze. Even though Sonny had just told Hawk she wouldn't stop Demetri, she wanted to stop what he was about to reveal to the crowd.

"Oh no." Sonny whispered, her hands going to her face as Hawk glared at Demetri. "Don't."

"That is the medical term, of course. In the King's English, it's good old-fashioned bed-wetting. And Eli here is a pro. My mom even had a special air mattress for sleepovers. And she called it Eli's waterbed." Demetri announced and the whole room erupted in laughter.

"Screw mercy. You're a corpse!" Hawk screamed from behind Sonny, making her straighten up. "Hey! No, no, no." Sonny yelled, standing in front of Hawk's way. The boy glared at her, clenching his jaw. "Sonny... get out of my way."

"No. If you're gonna beat up Demetri, you're gonna have to go through me." Sonny grumbled, Chris and Nate standing beside her. "Stay out of it, traitor." Mitch snapped and Sonny glared at him. "Shut the hell up you douche."

Mitch mimicked her glare. "Uh... Actually, it's Assface." Sonny scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Like that's any better."

"You wanna fight, bitch!" Mitch screamed, taking a step towards Sonny, the Thompson girl taking a step towards him as well until Moon grabbed her arm, pulling her away as Robby stepped up. "Hey, don't touch her." "Or what?" Hawk asked, turning back to Sonny and glaring.

"Guys, stop. We're friends." Moon said before turning to Sonny who was glaring at Hawk. "Sonny, darling. Don't fight him. He used to be your best friend." Moon said, catching Hawks attention. Sonny kept her gaze on Hawk, sending him a nasty glare. "No. I don't know this guy."

"Ooh, I smell a rumble." Stingray screamed. Sonny shook herself out of her glare and looked at the man with a slightly fearful look before turning back to Moon. "You didn't invite him, did you?" Moon looked at Sonny with wide eyes, shaking her head.

Suddenly, police sirens rang through the air and everyone froze. 

"Cops!" A voice screamed and immediately, everyone ran to leave the house.

"Demetri, you got lucky. I'll see you in school!" Hawk screamed before getting dragged out of the house by his team.

Moon quickly grabbed Sonny's hand tighter, pulling her to her room. "Moon! Shouldn't we be leaving!" Sonny yelled in a panicked tone that Moon just shook her head at, pulling her to her room.

"It'll be suspicious if no one is home. Now, come on." Moon yelled as she finally got into the room, she quickly made sure no one was in the room before closing the door as the sirens grew louder.

Moon quickly grabbed Sonnys arm, pulling her towards her and spinning around to pin Sonny against the wall as she kissed her lips. Sonny chuckled slightly, pulling away. "But what about the sir-" "Screw them." Moon muttered, smashing her lips back onto Sonnys.
