"These gym shorts pinch in all the wrong places." Demetri growned as Sonny walked over to him and the rest of Miyagi-Do. "Tell me about it. This top is so tight I can barely breathe." Sonny mumbled, pressing a hand to her chest, pulling on the white and blue top of her cheer uniform lightly.

Sam laughed and Sonny and Demetri, shaking her head. "Have a little school spirit."

Sonny rolled her eyes, shaking the pom poms in her hands as Demetri scoffed. "Oh, yeah. Go Mountain Lions!"

Sonny looked ahead, her eyes falling on Hawk and the rest of Cobra Kai walking towards the field. She quickly elbowed Demetri, nodding her head in their direction, making him sigh. "I wish we could do something about those cretins."

"We can." Sam mumbled, making Sonny chuckle as Demetri turned to the LaRusso girl with a shocked expression. "How? Counselor Blatt will give us detention for breathing near them."

Sam pursed her lips, shrugging as she looked around. "I don't see her, do you? Besides, what's a soccer game without a little physical contact? They think we're doormats. Let's prove 'em wrong."

Sonny cleared her throat, giving the group an awkward smile. "I'll cheer you guys on from the sidelines. Go Miyagi-Do!" Sonny said sarcastically, lifting her pom poms in the air.

"Sonny!" Moon screamed from the other side of the soccer field. When Sonny turned to her, Moon gestured for her to come over. Sonny sent her friends a small smile before running to Moon just as the game started.

As soon as the P.E. Coach blew her whistle, all hell broke loose on the field. Sonny and Moon watched as Sam kicked a boy down to get the ball, stepping over him to get to the goal. Sonny, not knowing what to do under the situation, cheered for Sam, Moon looking at Sonny weirdly before joining along, resulting in the whole cheer squad to root for Miyagi-Do.

Hawk glared at the girls, head butting a Miyagi-Do boy in the head to knock him down, kicking the ball that he had taken from the boy and scoring a point for Cobra Kai.

No cheerleaders cheered.

Sonny watched as Demetri stuck his leg out in front of Hawk, making the boy trip and fall. Sonny raised her pom poms in the air as she yelled, the rest of the girls following along with her.

The coach whipped her head to Sonny, glaring at the girl. "Thompson! Don't provoke it!" Sonny quickly hid behind Moon, making the girl chuckled as she quickly squatted. Sonny, instantly knowing what the girl meant, hopped onto Moon's back for a piggy back ride as she waved her pom poms in the air for Miyagi-Do.

"That's it! Detention! All of you!" Coach screamed to the soccer players, blowing her whistle one last time as the groups dispersed.

...

"Today was... eventful." Moon mumbled as she parked her car in front of Golf 'N' Stuf to drop Sonny off at work.

Sonny sighed, leaning back into her seat. "Yeah... I cant wait to see how the rest of the year goes." She mumbled sarcastically.

Moon little out a small laugh before grabbing Sonnys hand. Sonny looked down at their hands before slowly looking back up at Moon, giving her a small smile as she rubbed the back of her hand with the pad of her thumb.

Moon stared into Sonnys eyes, her smile not being able to fade until loud, obnoxious laughs erupted outside the car a few feet away from them. Moon looked right passed Sonny and rolled her eyes, making Sonny turn around.

The two girls watched as Hawk and the rest of the boys from Cobra Kai walk into Golf 'N' Stuff. Sonny shook her head, turning to Moon. "They're probably mini golfing. Eli's terrible at just about every single game in the arcade. I won't even talk to them."

Moon sighed, leaning over the dashboard, her hand grabbing the edge of Sonny jaw, pulling her to face her as she gave her a sweet kiss.

Moon slowly pulled away, their faces still inches apart and Moons eyes still closed. "Just... be careful." She whispered, opening her eyes.

Sonny smiled, leaning in and placing one more kiss on Moons lips as she hummed. "Always."

She slowly got out of the car and shut the door, turning around to look at Moon through the rolled down window. "Pick me up in two hours?"

Moon smiled, nodding her head. "Of course. Bye, darling." Sonny smiled sheepishly at the nickname, the word still making her fill with butterflies as she waved to Moon, walking into the arcade.

Sonny was at the prize counter, just finishing helping a little girl pick out her prizes when loud laughs echoed through the room as a pile of tickets fell on the table.

Sonny looked up at who came to the counter and frowned slightly at Hawk and some of Cobra Kai. Hawk gave her a smirk as she walked over to the counter, looking at all the tickets he had.

"Why do I not believe you got all of these yourself?" Sonny asked Hawk who rose his brows. "Why wouldn't I have gotten all of these tickets by myself?"

Sonny sucked her teeth as she slightly glared at her once best friend. "Because Jess used to take us here all the time... and you sucked at every single game here."

Hawks smirk dropped and he glared at Sonny. She felt a tightness in her chest at his nastiest glare, a look she never thought she'd see him give her. "Well, we haven't hung out in a long time for you to see that I've gotten better. Now, I want my prize. The big panda please." Hawk said, his face going from an evil glare to a smile as he pointed at the stuffed panda on the highest shelf.

Sonny sighed, going up to reach for it and just as she's about to grab it, she heard Hawk jump over the counter. She quickly turned around and tried to catch him as he grabs a handful of prizes, handing them off to the other Cobra Kai boys before running off, pushing Chris who just walked back in, in the process.

Chris looked around in shock before turning to Sonny. "Should we call Sam?"

"Where are they?" Sam asked, walking over to Chris and Sonny.

Sonny opened and closed her mouth in shock, not knowing what to say as Chris caught on, answering Sams question. "They snuck into the old laser tag place."

"How many?" Sam asked. Sonny thickly swallowed, looking up to her. "Five of them." Sam smirked at Sonnys words. "Six of us. I like our odds."

"Are you sure we should be doing this?" Demetri asked and Sonny went to go agree with him before Sam cut her off. "We're not on school property. This is our chance to fight back."

Sonny stayed put as Sam walked towards the laser tag entrance. Hearing a sigh beside her, Sonny turned her head to Demetri who looked just as hesitant if not more.

"Are we really doing this?" Sonny asked and Demetri sighed, grabbing Sonny's shoulder and walking with her towards the rest of Miyagi-Do. "I guess so."

When they got to the room, Sam instantly turned off the lights, walking towards Cobra Kai."What do you want?" Hawk groaned, rolling his eyes at the group. "Payback." Sam mumbled.

Hawk smirked, looking to his group before they charged to the Miyagi-Do's.

Sonny stared wide eyed as Doug went charging at her, she quickly ducked, just before he got to her, making him flip over her but quickly caught himself and rolled.

Doug took a deep breath, throwing a punch her way but Sonny blocked it, going to kick his legs but he jumped back. "Sam LaRusso... Where are you, bitch?" Sonny heard Tory scream from a few set pieces away from her.

As Doug was distracted, looking passed Sonny to the panicked Sam LaRusso, Sonny quickly let out a war cry, sending a punch right to his face and one right to his chest after. Doug groaned as he stumbled back a little. He spat the blood out of his mouth off to the side before charging towards her.

"Show yourself, LaRusso!" Tory screamed as Sonny spun around, kicking Doug in the stomach and sweeping his legs right before he could get to her.

As she tired to catch her breath, arms wrapped around her shoulders from behind, pushing her into one of the set pieces. Sonny groaned, opening her eyes, looking at Mikey ready to throw a punch at her.

Just before he could hit her, Sonny moved her head, making Mikey hit the wood behind her. She looked just passed Mikey and could see Hawk standing over Demetri, pulling his arm back to break it.

"No!" Sonny screamed, grabbing Mikey's arm and twisting it around to get behind him, before flipping him onto the ground and kicking him in the face.

Just before she could get to Demetri, she felt an arm wrap around her waist while another went over her shoulder blades and collarbones, making her fall back into someone's chest. "Sorry, sunshine. Can't let you stop this." Tory whispered into Sonnys ear.

"No. Please stop, Eli. Stop. I-it's me." Demetri yelled out as Sonny tried to shake herself out of Tory's grasp.

"Do it. Finish him!" Tory screamed and Sonny shook her head. Everyone in Cobra Kai started chanting for Hawk to break Demetri's arm while Sonny and Demetri cried out for him to stop.

"No! Hawk don't! Eli! Please!" Sonny screamed and Tory growled at her, tightening her grip. "Shut up!"

In one quick movement, Hawk brought his hand down, breaking Demetri's arm just as Tory threw Sonnys into one of the set pieces.

Sonnys head bashed into the wood as her bracelet got caught on Tory's shirt, so when the Nichols girl pushed Sonny, her bracelet broke, the beads spilling across the floor.

Demetri's screams echoed through the laser tag building as the Cobra Kai kids chuckle, walking out of the room.

Sonny rubbed the side of her head in pain, her vision blurring as black splotches appeared and her eyes started to droop but she tried her hardest to keep her eyes open, stumbling over to Demetri, trying not to slip on the beads of her bracelet, not even noticing Hawk watching a few feet away.

She weakly fell beside Demetri and pulled his head into her lap and combed a hand through his hair as she weakly turned to Chris, her eyes barely open. "Call 9-1-1. Now." Sonny mumbled before she couldn't keep her eyes open any longer and she started to fall back.

...

Sonny woke up to a repetitive high pitched beeping. She slowly opened her eyes as they burned slightly at the bright light, making her groan, bringing her hand up to cover her eyes.

She heard a faint, familiar chuckle a few feet away from her and slowly turned her head. Across the way from her was Demetri in his own hospital bed with a cast on his arm. "Heya Sonny."
