"Everyone, gather around." Daniel yelled out to his students.

Without much of a warning, Daniel called for an emergency Miyagi-Do meeting. Nonetheless, the students showed up and did as told; Sam, Sonny, Hawk, and Demetri standing in the front as the rest if Miyagi-Do stood behind them.

"It's great to see you all back here again. You know, we had one goal going into the All Valley. Beat Cobra Kai." He said. Sonny dropped her gaze from Daniel and shoulders slumped. She felt eyes watching the back of her head and she started to fidget.

"Walked away with a first place trophy thanks to Eli." Daniel cheered and Sonny smiled at the ground. She was proud of Hawk.

"As far as the rest of the tournament." Daniels starts. His eyes fell on Sonny. When he saw that her eyes were practically glued to the ground as a form of guilt, sadness, and embarrassment, Daniel sighed, not wanting to make the girl feel bad. "Well, it just didn't go our way."

Sonny slowly looked up at Daniel's words. Her eyes lock with her sensei and Daniel smiled, hoping to silently tell her it's okay that she didn't win.

He turned back to the other students and sighed. "We said we'd close our dojo if we lost. And that's exactly what we're going to do. As of today, I'm shutting down Miyagi-Do Karate."

Gasps murmured throughout the backyard. "What?" Sam yelled as Eli shook his head. "Wait, Mr. Larusso—" Daniel cut off Eli, not looking any of the front row in the eyes. "I know that's not what you were hoping to hear, but with everything going on at Cobra Kai, continuing Miyagi-Do only leaves a target on your backs."

Daniel sighed, upset that he was hurting his students, but knowing this was for the best. "Guys, I have to keep you safe, okay? Just remember what you've learned. This dojo may be closing, but Miyagi-Do lives inside each and every one of you still."

Sonny's head fell. As people started to walk out, Demetri sighed. "Great. Guess I'm getting a summer job." He grumbled as he started to walk away.

Hawk gently wrapped his arm around her shoulders and started to walk with her out of the dojo. Her feet felt heavy as she carried the guilt with her. If Sonny had won the All Valley, Cobra Kai would be gone, but she lost.

She felt eyes on her as she and Eli walked towards Demetri's car, the boy angrily sitting in the drivers seat as he scrolled through his phone for jobs hiring.

When he heard the front and back passenger doors open, he put his phone in his center console and scoffed. "I can't believe I have to get a summer job now. I wish we had just won." He snapped.

Sonny sank in the backseat as Eli, who sat in the front with Demetri, whacked his arm. Demetri jumped at the hit and turned to Hawk with a defensive look. Eli nodded his head discreetly to Sonny in the backseat. When Demetri looked back at Sonny, his shoulders slumped.

"I'm sorry, Sonny. I didn't mean it like th—" "I know." Sonny interrupted him. She forced a smile onto her face and nodded her head reassuringly.

Demetri watched Sonny closely. He knew she was lying and he was starting to feel like shit. Demetri sighed and frowned a little. He knew he would regret what he was about to, but he knew it would make Sonny feel better.

"Do you want aux?" He asked, his voice monotone. Eli's jaw dropped, betrayal taking over his face since he was in the passenger seat, therefore he got the aux as Sonny's eyes brightened, her fake smile becoming genuine.

Demetri handed Sonny the auxiliary cord while glaring at Hawk. Sonny quickly pulled her phone into the port and shook her head reassuringly to Hawk. "Don't worry. My playlist has improved."

"Have either of you guys heard from Miguel since he left?" Sonny asked, squished on Demetri's couch between him and Eli. Demetri rolled his eyes, annoyed that Sonny was talking during the show.

The boys insisted on watching Doctor Who, saying Sonny would love it. She had to admit, she was liking it, but her mind kept drifting to Miguel, worried for him.

Sonny didn't notice Demetri's mood and continued. "Sam's been trying to text him, but he hasn't answered her so she asked me to start texting too. I don't want to bother him if he doesn't want any texts."

Eli shook his head, keeping his eyes on the TV. "He's okay. Texted me a couple hours ago." He said, making Sonny look up at him. He finally looked down to her. Sonny could see he wasn't worried so she eased as well. "He just needs some time to figure his own shit out."

Sonny nodded, turning back to the TV. Demetri let out a quiet but relieved sigh, glad that he can go back to his show without any interruptions.

Demetri's smile and happiness went away when Sonny turned to Eli again. "When are you getting your grim reaper tattoo covered?"

Eli pursed his lips and looked to Sonny. "Wednesday." He said and Sonny groaned, slumping back into the couch. Hawk squinted at Sonny. "What?"

Sonny tilted her head, just barely resting it on Eli's shoulder. "I wanted to come with. Get a tattoo, but I already have plans that day."

Eli and Demetri, who had completely forgotten about his movie after Sonny's comment, turned to the girl with wide eyes. "You wanna get a tattoo?" Demetri asked. Sonny looked back and forth between the two boys with a confused look.

She settled her eyes on Demetri and nodded. "Yeah. I always talked about it? I want to get my mom, dad, and Jess's birth flowers." She explained and Demetri nodded, his mouth forming an "o" shape as he started to remember all the days she'd plan this tattoo.

Hawk had known Sonny has been wanting this tattoo since her parents passed away. If she was finally ready to get it, he wanted her to get it. And he wanted to be there with her.

"Okay, well, I already made my appointment for Wednesday and I can't back out of it," He started and Sonny sighed, looking down to her lap. Eli smiled, nudging Sonny's shoulder with his. "But..." He sang, making Sonny's head whip up to him, her eyes wide and a smile growing on her face.

Eli's smile mimicked Sonny's. "I'm free the next day. I can go with you, give you the run down, and be there for moral support."

Sonny's face was starting to hurt from how hard she was smiling. She quickly nodded her head like an excited little kid. "Thursday works. Thursday is perfect." She whispered, turning back to the TV and Eli smiled, nodding back. "Thursday it is. I'll call Rico when I get home."

Demetri looked back and forth between Hawk and Sonny, raising his eyebrows. "Are you two done with the yapping? This show is too good to talk through!" Demetri complained, gesturing to the TV.

Hawk and Sonny laughed, both of them putting their full attentions to the television, making Demetri smile in contempt, finally getting to watch his show in peace.
