☼oh, snack☾

"So Miguel told me about this drive in that's only gonna be in town this week. If you want to go..." Sonny said as she and Moon walked through the school hallways. Moon gasped, turning to Sonny excitedly. "That sounds great! I've always wanted to go to a drive-in!" Moon said happily and Sonny nodded, smiling.

Sonny suddenly felt a body crash into her, almost knocking her down but Sonny kept her balance, grabbing the short shoulders of the person that ran into her. Sonny's eyes fell on a boy a few years younger than her, most likely one of the middle schoolers touring the high school but Sonny was worried about why the boy looked so scared.

"Hey, are you okay?" Sonny asked, looking the kid over before looking at the door of the boys bathroom as if her glared would make the person who scared the boy come out of the restroom. The boy looked at Sonny with wide, scared eyes before breaking free from her grip, running away.

"Hey! Woah!" Sonny whispered in shock, not expecting the boy to get away from her so quickly. Sonny watched as the kid ran down the hall and she huffed in sadness, turning to Moon with furrowed brows as the bell rang for them to get to class.

Moon grabbed Sonny's hand, swinging them slightly as they walked. "What do you think that was?" Sonny muttered, talking about the younger boy and Moon hummed, shaking her head. "I'm sure it's all okay."

...

"Attack!" Johnny yelled and Sonny immediately sent and kick and punch towards him. Johnny caught all of them but once she was done, her nodded his head excitedly, raising his hand up for her to high five. "There we go, Thompson!"

Sonny smiled happily, side stepping away from Johnny. Demetri, thinking Johnny was ready for the punch he was sending Johnnys way, threw his arm back and towards the man's face.

When Demetri's fist met Johnnys face, Sonny gasped, her hands flying to her mouth as Demetri jumped back in shock. "Oh shit!" He yelled as Johnny froze, slowly grabbing his face. Demetri gulped, worried by Johnnys lack of emotions. "Um... I'm not gonna get in any trouble, am I?" He asked and Johnny slowly turned his head to him.

"All right, remember, one of the best ways to get a point is to aim for the torso." Johnny said as he stood beside a tied of and gagged Demetri, a pillow duct tape to his chest. The loud sound of a camera clicking echoed around them and Demetri turned his head to the sound, his eyes instantly widening at Sonny taking a picture of him.

"Sonny!?" Demetri yelled, his words muffled from the tie around his mouth. Sonny snickered, putting her phone back in her pocket. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I need a new wallpaper."

Chris stepped forward, next in line to hit Demetri. Johnny stepped away from the tied up boy, watching Chris closely. "All right, front kick, side kick. Go!" As soon as Johnny said go, Chris did the moves his Sensei told him to but as soon as he did the front kick, Chris' foot missed the pillow and he hit Demetri in the balls.

Sonny and all the boys gasped as Demetri let out a cry, the sound muffled from being gagged by a ribbon. Chris winced at what he had done before looking up at Demetri and shrugging.

"Oh, shit. I missed. My bad, Meat." Chris muttered, taking a bunch of steps back. Sonny slowly walked towards Demetri as he groaned in pain, not being able to hunch over in pain since he was still tied to the post. "Uh... Sensei? I think Demetri's had enough." Sonny said, her eyes going back and forth between Johnny and Demetri.

Johnny turned to Demetri, noticing the pain he was in and he rolled his eyes, groaning. "Very good. Suck it up and tighten that core next time." Johnny said as he walked around behind Demetri, taking the duct tape off from around him.

When Johnny removed the duct tape from Demetri, Sonny noticed the boy ready to fall over in pain and her eyes widened, jumping to Demetri and catching him in her arms, holding him up. Sonny groaned at Demetri's weight being thrown on her but she helped him walk out of the dojo nonetheless.

"Good day. You guys showed toughness." Johnny cheered, fist bumping all the Miyagi-Dos as they passed him. As Sonny fist bumped him, he watched Demetri with slightly worried eyes. "You sure you're okay?"

Demetri sighed, shaking his head. "Oh yeah. No, they're starting to turn back to their normal color." He said and Sonny cringed, looking up at Demetri. "Really didn't need to know that, Demi." She said, making Demetri frown, looking down. "Sorry."

A small buzz from her back pocket made Sonny's eyes leave Demetri and grab her phone, when she saw a text from Moon saying she was almost there to pick up her and Demetri, she smiled, putting her phone back in her pocket and turning around to face the exit of the dojo, making sure to help Demetri. "C'mon. Moon should be here any minute. We hots head to the movie."

At the drive-in, Moon and Sonny sat in the front seats of Moons car as Demetri laid sprawled out in the back. Yasmine was busy that night but Demetri didn't mind third wheeling and the girls didn't mind either.

Sonny could hear the popcorn bucket in Demetri's hands shake around before a groan came from the backseat. Sonny turned her head away from the movie to look at Demetri who was watching his practically empty popcorn bucket sadly.

"I need a refill." Demetri whined, sitting up as he opened the car door, hopping out of the car and before he closed the door, he turned to the two girls with raised brows. "Do you guys want anything? Any refills?"

Sonny looked down at the soda in her hand and nodded. "I could use something else to drink." Sonny muttered and Demetri held his hand out to take the cup. "What do you want?"

Sonny pursed her lips, looking down at the cup before looking back up at Demetri, shaking her head. "I'll come with you. See my options." Sonny said as she opened the car door.

"You sure?" Sonny could hear Demetri ask from the other side of the car and Sonny have him a thumbs up through her door before turning to Moon.

"Moon, do you want anything?" Sonny asked and Moons eyes stayed locked on the screen, engrossed with the movie. "No, I'm okay."

Sonny nodded, closing the car door as she walked around the car to get to Demetri, the two of them walking to the snack station together.

On their walk to the snack shop, Demetri asked question after question about the movie, watching it but not understanding any of it. When they got to the snack shop, they noticed Jess working the stand and when the older girl noticed, she smiled at her little sister and Demetri, waving.

Sonny smiled back, waving when she saw Hawk walk around and behind the snack shop. Sonny's brows furrowed, handing Demetri her cup of soda, keeping her eyes on Hawk. "Can you get me a Dr. Pepper?" Sonny asked as Demetri toon the cup from her hand and started to follow after Hawk.

"What if they don't have Dr. Pepper?" Demetri yelled after her and Sonny waved him off. "Then get me a Mr. Pibb!" Sonny yelled.

When she turned the corner of the snack shop, she watched as Hawk purposely bumped into the little kid that ran into Sonny at school. Hawk laughed as he looked down at all of the spilt snacks. "That sucks." Hawk said, an evil smirk taking over his face. Sonny shook her head, looking at the boy with sympathetic eyes. "Hey, it's okay. Look, I can take you back to the snack both, reorder all your items and help you back to your group. My sisters working it so I can get you all the new food for free."

"Don't Sonny." Hawk said, putting a hand out in front of the girl, stopping her. Sonny's brows furrowed, looking up at Hawk in confusion. "Why not?"

Instead of answering, Hawk looked at the kid with an evil look. "You should watch where you're going, kid."

"Yeah, same goes for you." A voice said from behind the smaller boy, Sonny looked passed the kid to see who was talking even though she already knew who it was. Sonny clenched her jaw as Robby walked up to the three of them, Nate and Bert coming over to stand with Hawk and Sonny.

"You betrayed Miyagi-Do. Traitor!" Nate yelled and Sonny stuck her hand out in front of Nate, pushing him back.

"Oh, there's a traitor here for sure. He's gonna get what he deserves!" Tory yelled as she and the rest of Cobra Kai walked up to stand with Robby and the younger kid.

"I don't think so. Not if I have anything to say about it, Princess." Sam said, her, Miguel and the rest of Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang coming to stand with Hawk and Sonny. Tory's glare hardened at Sam's words.

It was quiet between the crowd, everyone just glaring at the dojo opposite from them until Demetri ran over to Sonny in excitement, a big smile on his face. "Hey Sonny, can you believe that they have Mr. Pibb and Dr. Pepper?! I didn't know which one to get you so Jess let me take both." Demetri rambled, looking down at the drink in his hands he didn't even notice Cobra Kai standing there as well.

When Sonny didn't reply, Demetri lifted his head, he looked around at all the kids around him and groaned. "Oh, shit. Not another rumble." He muttered.

"Careful, LaRusso. Your mommy isn't here to play peacemaker." Tory said and Sam's eyes widened. "What's that supposed to mean?" Sam asked, her voice getting angrier as she took another step towards Tory. Sonny's eyes widened, grabbing Sam's hand and pulling her back as Miguel did the same with her other hand. "Guys, stop! We can't do this. We'll beat them on the mat." Miguel said, looking around at the Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do students.

"Oh really?" Robby asked, making Miguel turn to him. Robby raised his brows at Miguel, tilting his head as a smirk grew on his face. "You remember what happened the last time we fought, right?" Robby asked and Sonny glared at the boy.

Miguel tensed, shaking his head slightly. "Okay. Meet us at the baseball diamond in 30 minutes."

Demetri looked at Miguel with wide eyes as Sonny grabbed his shoulder and spun him around to face her. "What the hell are you doing?" Sonny whispered and Miguel rolled his eyes, shaking Sonny's hand off his shoulder before turning back to the Cobra Kai's, mainly watching Tory. "And no weapons."

"We won't need them." Tory said proudly before looking back at the other Cobra Kai's kids. She nodded her head behind them and they all walked away.

Sonny watched them walk away with her arms crossed and once they were out of sight she huffed, spinning around to face the group. "Look, I love you guys but Moon's waiting for me at the car. I can't just leave her there alone so I can go fight some assholes."

Miguel and Sam looked at Sonny sadly, going to open their mouths to try and convince her to stay and fight but they both stopped, knowing she wouldn't leave Moon alone. Sonny turned and walked away from her friends, heading back to Moons car until Demetri's yells stopped her.

"I still have your soda!" Demetri yelled and Sonny stopped. She stood there, facing away from her friends for a few seconds before she groaned. Sonny turned around, walking back towards the group. Demetri smiled at Sonny coming back, looking down at the two different drinks in his hands.

"Do you want Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pib—" Demetri was cut off by Hawk leaning over, taking the Mr. Ping from Demetri's hands and taking a sip. Demetri watched the boy with a sad look before turning back to Sonny, handing her the Dr. Pepper. "Here you go." He muttered and Sonny took the drink, muttering a small thank you before turning to the rest of her friends.

"I'll see you guys at practice tomorrow." She said and everyone nodded. Sonny sent them all one last smile before turning around, walking back to Moons car.

The movie was over when Sonny climbed into the passenger seat. Moons attention left the screen to look at Sonny, a big smile on her face. "There you are! The movies over." Moon said and Sonny frowned, placing the Dr. Pepper in the cup holder. "Sorry." She muttered and Moon frowned.

"It's okay. We can watch another movie when we get back to your place." Moon said, reaching over to place her hand on Sonny's thigh. Sonny looked down at Moon hand before turning back to Moon, sending her a small smile.

Sonny leaned over the center console, cupping Moons face with her hand to pull her into a kiss. When she pulled away, Sonny fell back into her seat, a small sigh leaving her lips. "Okay, we should go." She muttered and Moon nodded, rubbing Sonny's leg one more time before putting her hand on the steering wheel and starting the car.

Sonny looked out her window, as Moon pulled out of the parking lot and passed the baseball field. Sonny watched as a group of kids walked onto the baseball field. After a few seconds, Sonny realized the group of kids were Cobra Kai.

The lights on the field went out and Sonny jumped, hitting Moons shoulder repeatedly as she pointed at the field. "Pull over. Pull over!" Sonny yelled and Moon quickly pulled over to park right by the field but still not visible to the Cobra Kai's. As soon as the car stopped, the girls looked up just as sprinklers turned on. Sonny and Moon let out loud gasps, Moon's hand going to her mouth as Sonny turned to Moon, placing her mouth on Moon's shoulder to hide her laughs.

"Oh my God!" Moon gasped out, a small part of her laughing slightly as Sonny pushed herself off of Moon, a giggling mess as she cheered. "Payback! Bitch!" She screamed even though Cobra Kai couldn't hear her.

...

"Henceforth, Miguel Diaz shall be known as The Rainmaker!" Demetri cheered, making his hands imitate rainfall. "El Diablo de la Lluvia!" Hawk yelled as Sonny let out a cheer, clapping her hands.

"Yeah but, if they hadn't fallen for it, we would've beaten them." Sam shrugged, crossing her arms defensively. Sonny turned to Sam, giving her a lopsided smile. "Maybe, but there's still so many ways it could've gone bad." Sonny said and Sam turned to her, knowing she was right.

"What could've gone bad?" Johnny said as he walked into the backyard, a clueless smile on his face. A big smile grew on Sonny's face, excited to tell Johnny about the night. "We were about to get in a gnarly fight at the drive-in, but Miguel saved the day."

Johnny chuckled as Sonny's excitement, turning to Miguel and nodded to him. "Oh yeah? How'd you do that?"

"We told the Cobra Kai's to go to the baseball diamond. Just in time for the grass to get watered." Miguel said and Johnnys smile faltered as his face dropped. "So you picked a fight, you didn't show up and then you doused them with a hose?" Johnny said and Sonny's brows furrowed.

"It was sprinklers..." Sonny and Demetri said at the same time. Johnny clenched his jaw, looking passed Miguel to Demetri and Sonny, giving them both a glare. The two gulped, nodding their heads. "I'll go back to saying nothing." Demetri muttered and Sonny nodded in agreement, letting out a small "mhm".

Johnny turned back to Miguel, glaring at him. "You just poked the bear. What do you think's gonna happen? You think they're just gonna leave well alone?" Johnny yelled as Daniel walked out from the meditation room, wrapping a defensive arm around Miguel's shoulders. "From everything I heard, it sounds to me like Miguel practiced restraint. Found a way to get out of a bad situation without anyone getting hurt. What did you want them to do? Get in a drive-in switchblade fight?"

Johnny scoffed at Daniels words, shaking his head but Daniel didn't care, turning to Miguel as he shook his shoulder. "I'm proud of you. You've taken Miyagi-Do teachings to the heart."

Sonny smiled at Miguel, past of her glass he wasn't trying to surge first as much anymore but when two figures walking into the backyard caught Sonny's eyes, she looked away from her friends and to the two men. Her eyes widened at the sight of Kreese and another man she had never seen before.

Daniel looked back and forth between the his students with a smile before noticing Sonny's brows furrow as she looked just passed him. Confused by what she was looking at, Daniel turned around and paled at the sight of Kreese and a taller man with a silver white ponytail. "What the..."

The man with the ponytail smirked at Daniel, walking towards him as Kreese trailed behind. "Gentlemen. It seems we have a few things to discuss."
