☼bye bye, cobra kai☾

Sonny texted Hawk, Demetri, Miguel, Robby and Sam to all meet at Sonny sent a separate text to Sam asking her not to get mad at her.

She could tell by the parked cars in her driveway that the whole group was already at her house. Sonny parked her car and turned to Tory, who was nervously bouncing her leg in the passenger seat.

"You okay?" Sonny asked, tilting her head at Tory.

Tory let out a shaky breath, finally turning to look at Sonny. "Just a little nervous. Everyone we're meeting with tonight kinda hates me."

Sonny let out a little laugh, hoping it would ease Tory's nerves. "If it makes you feel any better, all of them have hated each other at one point." She joked and Tory giggled.

As their laughter died down, Tory took one final deep breath and turned to Sonny. With a determined look, Tory nodded her head, silently telling Sonny she was ready.

With that, Sonny and Tory climbed out of Sonny's car and walked towards her home. Sonny opened the door and walked in first so no one would get startled seeing Tory.

"There you are! You told us to meet but you weren't even here?" Sonny heard Demetri from her living room. Sonny didn't respond to Demetri, her and Tory silently walking into the room instead.  

"Tory?" Hawk asked in shock. Her and Sonny had barely ever spoke so to see Tory walk in to Sonny's home with her was a shock to him.

Everyone seemed to be just as confused as Hawk, but Robby was more concerned about the cut on Tory's hand she wrapped. "What happened to your hand?"

Tory nervously looked down at her hand before holding it behind her back, shaking her head. "Uh, training accident. I'm okay."

"What is she doing here?" Sam spat, crossing her arms as she glared not only at Tory but now Sonny for bringing her. Sonny expected this, she actually expected worse. "We think we have a way to prove Silver assaulted Stingray." Sonny said and immediately, Sam's tense demeanor dropped. Her and everyone else's eyes widened as Sonny looked to Hawk. "If the attack happened at the old dojo, Silver used Sensei Lawrence's old security cameras we installed."

She watched Hawk's eyes widen at the memory and Tory nodded in agreement with Sonny, looking at her for a few seconds before turning back to the group. "So maybe it's all on tape."

"But that place was cleaned out." Robby brought up but Demetri shook his head. "That might not matter." He said, turning everyone's attention to him. "The systems that we sell at TechTown all save the footage to a central server. Silver probably took the whole system."

Tory started to smile, a relieved breath of air passing through her lips. "I think he did. There is a server in his office at the flagship dojo."

"If we access it, we can find that footage. We could post that Stingray clip to their YouTube channel." Eli said and Demetri nodded in agreement crazily. Sonny smiled at Eli and Demetri's old tech savvy sides showing. She looked back to the rest of the group, her smile turned into a smirk. "Get ahold of everyone else. Let them know that we're taking down Cobra Kai tonight."

The seven of them walked up to the doors of Cobra Kai. When they got to the steps of the building, Robby, who was in the front of the group, turned around to face everyone else. "If it's the same alarm system, I should be able to bypass it."

"Spoken like a man that's done this before." Demetri joked. Robby's kept an unamused expression, sheepishly shrugging his shoulders. "Karate wasn't my first hobby. I fractured a law or two before we met."

Tory pulled a card out of her pocket and walked in front of Robby. "Or we could just scan my key card. So that those of us on probation keep from, you know, violating it." She said, her eyes on mainly Robby since they were the only two on probation.

Hearing people behind her, Sonny turned her heads and saw the rest of Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang walking up. "Sorry we're late." Chris said before he turned to Mitch beside him and glared. "Someone took forever to get ready."

Everyone turned to Mitch, and he quickly shoved his hands in his pockets at all the eyes on him. "It's the middle of the night." He muttered defensively and Sonny squinted at him. "It's 10:30." She muttered, and Mitch whipping his head to Sonny, glaring at her.

Nate, who was standing beside Chris, looked at Tory standing beside Sonny with wide eyes. "What is she doing here?"

"It's fine. She's with us." Sonny clarified, her hand protectively in front of Tory incase any of the Miyagi-Fangs tried to attack her. She turned to Tory and the girl smiled.

"So what are we doing? All your text says is that we're gonna take down Cobra Kai. But how exactly?" Bert asked, looking down at his phone to Hawk's text to him and the other students. Hawk turned back to Bert, a big smirk grew on his face. "Gonna show them who their sensei is. We might have proof he's a criminal."

"We're going upstairs to Silver's office. We need you downstairs as lookout." Sonny told the other kids and everyone nodded. With that, Tory let all of Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang inside Cobra Kai, her, Sonny, Demetri, Eli, Robby, Miguel, and Sam going upstairs to Silver's office while the others stayed downstairs for lookout.

"Pulling the clip off the server is first day of computer camp shit." Eli said as Demetri sat down on the chair at the desk, Eli right beside him and everyone else standing behind the two of them.

"Got it?" Eli asked Demetri. Sonny crouched down and turned her head to see what Demetri was doing and nodded. "Yeah, he's got it." Sonny answered for Demetri, making the boy roll his eyes but still keep them on the computer in front of him. "I can speak for myself." He muttered as Sonny stood straight up. She smiled down at the boy and jokingly pat his head. "I know."

The computer that the two boys were once hacking into was now opened to its surveillance page, all the days and logs right in front of them. Eli huffed, resting his elbows on the table and leaning forward as he continued to type. "We upload the clip to the YouTube channel, and Cobra Kai is out of business." He turned his head just enough to see about half of the kids standing behind him out of the corner of his eyes. "Anybody know what day we're looking for?"

"Stingray's assault happened the morning after prom." Sam said, remembering the man bringing up the morning after prom when they questioned him. Eli gave her a quick but thankful nod, his eyes glued to the computer.

As Demetri and Eli searched for the footage, Tory let out a relieved laugh. "I can't believe it's happening. We're really gonna take Silver down." Robby turned to Tory and smiled. "Yeah. What could go wrong?" Robby laughed out.

Sonny, still keeping an eye on what Demetri and Eli were doing with the surveillance footage, let out a disappointed hum. "Something definitely will after you said that." She muttered, her voice just loud enough for everyone to hear.

"I got it!" Eli yelled, making everyone turn to the computer screen. Sonny leaned forward, her head aligning with Demetri and Eli's as she watched the screen.

"You wanna be Cobra Kai. Oh. So you wanna be Cobra Kai, huh?" Silver slurred, his words coming out as a drunken chuckle. Silver turned his body, almost as if he was ready to throw a punch at Stingray, but just before he could, the screen froze.

"Sh-Shit." Demetri grumbled, shaking the computer in hopes that it would make it work again.

A new window popped up over the surveillance footage in big red font reading "ERROR: FILE DELETED" before the footage disappeared from the computer entirely.

"What happened?" Miguel asked and Demetri threw his hands out in front of him, gesturing to the computer. "That's all there is! The rest of it's been erased." He shrieked.

"Silver covered his tracks." Tory breathed out. Sonny turned to her head to Robby, a small "I told you so" look on her face as Robby huffed. "Okay. So what now?"

"There might be other footage we can use." Tory said and Eli sighed. He turned around to face her, his brows raised. "You wouldn't know the date and time, would you?"

Tory told him the date and Demetri quickly searched it up. His eyes widened when footage actually popped up.

"Okay. I think I got it!" Demetri yelled. "Is this the clip?" He asked Tory. Tory leaned down to get a better look at the footage and once she knew it was the right piece of footage, she turned to Demetri and nodded. "Yeah, that's the one."

"What are you doing here?" A voice yelled from the bottom of the stairs. Everyone in the room whipped their heads to the stairs at the sound of Kyler.

Miguel looked to Eli, Sonny, and Demetri, nodding to them. "We'll check it out. Stay here. We need that footage." Three nodded back at Miguel, turning back to the computer as everyone else started to head downstairs.

Sonny crouched down to Eli and Demetri's seated height so she could look at their computers better. "So how long is this supposed to take?"

Neither of them looked away from their computers. "It all depends on how long this download takes. Could be seconds, could be minutes." Hawk sighed and turned to Sonny. "Could be hours."

Sonny groaned, dropping her arms onto the table and her head into her arms. "And I'm here because..."

"Emotional support of course. The binary brothers wouldn't be here without you." Demetri joked, patting Sonny's back. As Sonny raised her head back up, she heard footsteps coming towards the room.

Sonny and Hawk jumped up, Hawk silently telling Demetri to handle the tech alone while he and Sonny walked in front of the table just as Kyler and two of his goons walked in.

"It's just Yasmine's and Moon's bitches." Kyler groaned in disappointment at the sight of Demetri and Sonny. He turned to just Eli and tilted his head tauntingly. "And just a bitch. You heard Kenny when he dropped your ass. Just a Faux-Hawk now."

Hawk rolled his eyes and shrugged, not taking Kyler's words to heart or getting angry. "You know what? That's life. You win some, you lose some, but you gotta move on." Hawk chuckled and eyed Kyler up and down. "You never did. You're still pulling the same old bully act. Even though everyone you bullied has kicked your ass."

"We haven't." Demetri blurted, Sonny shaking her head in agreement. Hawk looked back to Demetri and elbowed Sonny's rib, smirking. "You'll get your turn." He said before he turned back to Kyler. "Kyler's too stupid to ever learn his lesson."

Kyler's nostrils flared as he stepped forward, ready to throw the first punch. But before he could make contact, Sonny stepped forward, her own jaw clenched as she grabbed his fist mid-air. "Oh, no you don't." She muttered, before throwing a punch right to his nose.

The room exploded into chaos after that. Sonny and Hawk sprang into action against Kyler and his two minions, while Demetri was frantically working on the computer behind them.

Sonny focused on Kyler, while Hawk dealt with the other two. She landed a handful of punches on him, and he got a few on her.

Kyler attempted to regain the upper hand, but Sonny was relentless. She thought about all the torment he cause Demetri and Eli. She grabbed a fistful of Kyler's hair and yanked him towards the table where Demetri was working. She slammed his head onto the table and dragged his face across its surface. Demetri quickly lifted the computer to avoid any damage, his eyes trained on the screen instead of the fight.

As soon as Kyler's face reached the edge of the table, Sonny released him. She raised his face by his hair again and sent a kick to his stomach, sending him flying backward. He crashed into the wall right beside Demetri, who had just finished downloading everything he needed onto his iPad.

Kyler struggled to get back up, but Demetri stepped in, using his new-found confidence to fight back. Meanwhile, one of the boys Hawk had been fighting decided to switch targets and lunged at Sonny.

Sonny pivoted on her heel to face the boy. They ounches and kicks back to back. When the boy tried to punch Sonny, she grabbed his fist and used her free hand to punch him in the gut and then the face. As he bent down in pain, Sonny grabbed the back of his head and pulled it down jsut as she raised her knee.

The boy collapsed to the ground after getting kneed in the face just as Hawk and Demetri won their own fights.

Sonny took a deep breath to try and ran a hand through her slightly sweaty hair as Demetri chuckled. "Man, that felt good!" He looked down at the three boys in the floor and smiled wider when he noticed the pain he caused Kyler. "Bitch!"

Sonny watched Demetri with an amused look. When he turned back to her and Hawk, Sonny smirked and rose her eyebrows. "You feel better?" She asked and Demetri, still smiling, nodded his head.

Hawk patted Demetri on the back, making both him and Sonny turn to him. "Great. Now, let's go." Hawk said and Sonny suddenly realized they still have to take down Silver.

The three of them ran out of Silvers office and down the stairs. "Miguel, we got it!" Demetri screamed when he saw Miguel fighting Mitch, which really confused Sonny.

Just as they reach ground level, Kyler and a couple of Cobra Kai's came up behind them from the top of the stairs and pushed the three of them to the ground. Sonny groaned as her body hit the linoleum, her knees and forearms rubbing against the ground, leaving a burning feeling.

The iPad flew out of Eli's hands and slid across the floor, right at Anthony's feet. The boy grabbed it instantly and when Kenny noticed Anyhony's hold on the iPad, he pointed at him, making almost every Cobra Kai kid look his way.

"Get him!" Kenny yelled and as Cobra Kai started to circle Anthony. Miguel's eyes widened, thinking back to their class with Chozen. "Protect the egg!" He screamed. His team immediately started following what he said.

Sonny stood beside Miguel and Demetri, her eyes glaring into Big Red who stood in front of her. She blocked punches he sent her way but had to take a couple steps back when he got too close.

She noticed that everyone in Miyagi-Fang were getting stuck in the same issue as her. They all backed up so they had their room to fight that they all ended up with their back practically on Anthony. 

"We're not gonna be able to hold them!" Miguel yelled, and Sonny nodded in agreement, wincing as Big Red hit her in the jaw. "There's too many of them!" She winced, turning her head back to look at the younger boy. Anthony nervously looked up from the Ipad to Sonny and Miguel. "Ninety-five." He said, silently asking them to hold off a little longer.

Sonny could taste the blood in her mouth but nodded anyway. They were so close to Cobra Kai being done. She could hold off a little longer.

Cobra Kai's got so closer to Miyagi-Fangs, the inner circle had no room to lift their arms and defend themselves any longer. Kenny let out a loud laugh, noticing the bruises and black eyes already forming on the opposing teams faces. "They're trapped. Don't let 'em out!"

Sonny watched with wide eyes as Big Red raised his fist, ready to throw another punch her way. Sonny shut her eyes and turned her head to the side, her arms trapped by her side from how many bodies were cramped around her.

Just before Big Red threw his fist at her, the sound of the TV being turned on made him and everyone else in the dojo stop. Sonny slowly looked up at the television in the corner of the room and watched as Tory walked up to Silver on the screen. "I need to talk to you."

"Nichols. What's on your mind? Excited to take things to the next level?" Silver chuckled out. Tory shrugged. "What's the point? You'll just pay to make me champion again." She spat and Silver straightened up at Tory's words. "So you know about the ref."

Sonny looked around the room at all the Cobra Kai kids. She watched as their faces fell and slowly, they started to back away from her and her friends.

'Have you told anyone else?"

"So you don't deny it?" Tory asked and almost instantly, Silver answered. "Not at all. I paid him off to make sure Cobra Kai won. It was an insurance policy. You still won the fight."

Sonny's jaw clenched at Silver's words and her hands formed fists at her side. Anyone with eyes could've seen that she should've won that fight at the All Valley. She should've won.

Suddenly, the TV turned off. Sonny let out a small breath. Sure, she'd been told that the tournament was rigged, but hearing it from Silver himself finally let her believe it.

"That's it?"

Sonny and the other kids looked away from the TV and to the direction they heard the man. Her breath caught in her throat at his disheveled state. Silver's shirt was untucked from his pants messily and his normally neatly done ponytail was falling down to the back of his neck, the hair around his face falling out of it.

Silver let out an maniacal laugh, looking to Daniel. "That was your big plan, LaRusso? Breaking into my dojo to steal some footage that changes nothing?" He asked and almost instantly, Robby and Tory stepped forward.

"It wasn't his plan." Tory announced. Silver turned around to face Tory, his eyes wide, but the rest of his face fallen at his star pupil turning against him. "It was ours. And it changes everything." Robby told the man. Silver just stared at the two before he blinked and looked to his students.

"Our enemies... think they can keep attacking us with no repercussions." Silver said as he walked towards his students. The kids in Cobra Kai parted their crowd to let Silver stand in the middle of them. He smiled, looking around at all of the teens in front of him. "And what does the enemy deserve?"

When none of his students responded and he was met with silence, Silver's face faltered slightly. "You think I'm the only one willing to go to these lengths?" He asked, not necessarily looking for an answer.

"Their senseis broke into my home tonight." He seethed as he pointed at the Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang students. "My home!" He screamed, making a couple students jump. "Attacked me, unprovoked. But here I am. The only one left standing." He chuckled out the last sentence.

That when Sonny realized that Johnny and Chozen weren't standing with the other adults. A chill went down her spine but she was frozen.

"They think they're entitled to victory because their way is right and our way is wrong. But that's not how it works. There are no morals to the story, no happy endings. Life isn't a fairy tale. It's a competitive sport. Right and wrong, there's no such thing. There are only winners... and losers. Cobra Kai builds winners, because we're willing to do whatever it takes to come out on top."

He then turned around to Daniel. "Everything you did to try and stop me amounted to nothing but pain. You got your ass kicked, Danny-boy. Now, you can either accept that... or I can kick it again right now."

Amanda took a small step towards Daniel. "We're all with you, Daniel. Do what you have to do." Amanda assured her husband. Daniel immediately took a step towards Silver, making the man smirk.

Silver rolled up his sleeves as all the students moved to give the men the proper space to fight. "First, I took care of Chozen. Now you. This is where Miyagi-Do ends." Silver said as he circled Daniel before finally stopping in front of his students.

"Miyagi-Do existed before any of us. It'll be around long after we're gone. The roots are strong, so the tree will survive." Daniel breathed out, getting into his fighting stance. Silver chuckled. He looked back at his students to see if they would laugh with him before he turned back around to Daniel, attempting to sneakily punch him.

Daniel blocked every punch Silver tried to send him and even when Silver swung his leg around to kick Daniel, he ducked and dodged it. Sonny gasped when Daniel got back up and smack Silver across the face, knocking the tall man to the ground.

Silver got back up, trying to punch Daniel again but Daniel grabbed his and spun him around. Once Silver was in a spot where he couldn't hit Daniel, Daniel brought his hand up and hit Silver under his arm.

Daniel pushed Silver to the ground, still holding onto his arm that had gone limp. Silver tried to catch his breath and break free but Daniel held a strong grip. Silver had found a way to maneuver around and kneel onto one leg. He brought his hand out to punch Daniel in the chest like Kenny had to Eli a couple nights prior but Daniel blocked it with his own knee and punched Silver in the face.

Silver got back up almost instantly. Sonny was shocked. he just wouldn't stop. He looked angrier than ever. Silver had found himself in front of Cobra Kai's collection of trophies. He grabbed onto one of the trophy stands as a way to support his weight as Daniel rose his knee, ready to do the crane kick.

Suddenly, Silver grabbed a hold of a trophy and turned back to Daniel. Just as he was about to use the trophy as a weapon, Daniel kicked the man across the face. Silver fell back into the glass Cobra Kai light. The logo shattered under the man's weight as Silver fell to the ground, covered in glass shards.

Daniel stared down at Silver as one by one, Cobra Kai students started to walk towards Silver. They all took off their Cobra Kai merch and threw them on top of him, all of them finally giving up on Cobra Kai.

...

Sonny sat on the back of an ambulance squeezed between Demetri and Anthony, Hawk sitting on the other side of Hawk. They had all been checked on and none of them had any bad injuries, just a couple scratches and bruises.

Sonny had a busted lip and had to hold an ice back to her eye from one of Big Red's punches. The boy actually came up to her with Little Red by his side to apologize and dap her up. Sonny waited until the brothers were far enough away before she started laughing, hiding her giggles in Demetri's shoulder so the brothers couldn't hear her.

"That was shocking." Demetri muttered. The Red brothers hadn't spoken since Little Red left Cobra Kai to join Miyagi-Do so seeing them together again was wild. Hawk started laughing with Sonny, turning to Demetri. "Seeing the brothers together or learning Sonny knows how to dap someone up."

Sonny's laughs grew laughter, a silent way of telling the boys around her that's what she thought was so funny. "I need to hang out with my girlfriend and Yas more. I can't dap up any more guys." She said as her laughter died down.

Hawk hummed, finding some amusement in Sonny's words. "Well, you're stuck with us until the Sekai Takai." Hawk said and Sonny pursed her lips jokingly, "I've been stuck with you guys for ten years, I guess I can hang out with you two a little longer." She joked, earning a shove from Demetri that pushed her into Anthony.

Sonny looked at the younger boy, ruffling his hair to bug him. "You ready for the Sekai Takai?" Sonny asked and Anthony jokingly groaned, giving Sonny a small smile. "Eh... already got an arch nemesis, I feel like I have to now."

Sonny laughed at Anthony's words, pressing the ice pack further onto her eye. She looked off ahead of her and her eyes widened when she saw Silver being led out of the Cobra Kai dojo in handcuffs. "Guys, check it out." Sonny muttered.

Everyone turned their heads in the direction she looked. "I guess we don't have to worry about Cobra Kai anymore." Hawk said and Sonny let out a shaky breath, watching as Silver got driven away. "Yeah... I guess we don't."
