Chapter six
'teenagers in trouble'

The four kids slowly tried grabbing the stuff they needed, trying to be as quiet as they can they made sure to keep themselves low as they walked, dawn had grabbed some extra stuff that would enhance her abilities, she found it cool as she slapped on a new gold bracelet, the black outline of it made her rings pop, as they shined, this confirmed that dawn's abilities were nos enhanced.

"We're clear" a guy named Wisconsin said, nodding his head at the woman who stood slightly next to him, charlie slowly grabbed the bracelet he had on during the match that day, trying not to make any sound, "let's check the next room" Virginia said, the woman that Wisconsin was talking to, charlie tapped the bracelet, trying to see if it turns on.

"Low power, turning to dawn who was low infront of him, with maya behind her, he made eye contact with the blonde girl, "this one's dead, too" Charlie whispered, before looking around the room, "they're all dead!" Dawn said, also whispering as she hopes the people that were looking for them didn't hear them.

"Seriously why can't we find ones that are not low powered!" Maya said, also whispering, looking around the room as she tried to think of something else, "wait i have an idea! Come on!" Dawn said in a whisper tone, charlie followed her while maya and liam went to find another way, they had wanted to see where lizzie and big mac was, while also trying to find berger.

"Let's hope this works!" Dawn said to charlie still in a whisper voice as they entered a room, they still held each other low, not wanting to blow the cover that they were keeping, charlie and dasn looked around, seeing as it was now safe, they stood normally, dawn walked over to the only table in the room, grabbing something, going back to charlie who was holding the energy source.

Charlie softly put the energy source against the thing dawn was holding, suddenly it started to glow up, "holy shit!" Dawn said, slightly louder than she had intend on being, charlie looked at her with wide eyes as he made eye contact, "charging" the automated voice said, dawn looked down smiling at the kbject she was holding as she saw it glow up, "this is it, this is the guard's energy source." Charlie said, nodding his head as he spoke.

"You literally gave a presentation about this yesterday, remember?" Dawn said, thinking about how she heard Charlie's presentation from the hall, "Ms. Squint owes me an apology" charlie said, he looked at the ground before he looked at dawn who was also nodding her head, "do you think i could win a nobel prize from this?" Charlie asked, dawn slightly rolled her eyes as she laughed, "totally" dawn said, sacarsim was hinted in her voice, "really?" Charlie said, his eyes shined m from excitement, dawn felt bad but still shook her head.

"I don't think so" dawn said, a sad smile was painted on her face, suddenly Berger came out of the dark, "hey!" Berger said, walking up to the two, catching their attention, they saw him holding argon who was unconscious in a chair in the air, the lasers coming from the 'wand' berger was holding held argon up, dawn slightly chuckled as she looked at the two, her eyes slightly shifted to charlie before they snapped back at berger, hoping none of the two noticed her looking.

Argon was still unconscious, dawn had kept a close eye on him, making sure he was not moving, dawn had wondered how it was going with maya and liam, they had went to find lizzie and big mac, but dawn hoped they wouldn't get hurt in the process of doing so, "sorry about what i said back there, your ailments aren't what make you weak, they're actually what makes you strong." Charlie said, only looking at his friend who stood infront of him.

"And i'm sorry i punched you" charlie added, Berger sighed, dawn crosses her arms as she waited for the two to be done with their apologies, but she still looked at argon who was still unconscious, "that was a really good apology, I wasn't ready to forgive you, i planned on throwing way more shade but, i'm sorry too." Berger said, sometimes Berger looked at dawn, who was still standing with her arms crossed, the girl slightly noticed as she gave him a soft smile, the two friends hugged.

Suddenly argon grunted as he was now awake, "hey, i think i saw this guy on TV yesterday." Charlie said, the three stepped forward as they looked at the guy sitting infornt of them, "yeah me too" dawn said, nodding her head, argon shook his head, trying to make a no sound but it was all muffled as his mouth was covered up, dawn dropped her hands to her side, stepping forward as she flashed a fake-smile to argon.

Ripping of the tape that was on his mouth, groaning as she took it off, argon looked around, looking at the three teenagers standing infront of him, "hey, how old are you guys?" Argon asked them, slightly panicking as he looked at them, "nineteen" dawn said, again crossing her arms as she spoke, still with the tape in her hands, "fourteen" berger said, charlie was thinking about how old he had wanted to tell he was, "it's just you guys down here?" Argon asked again, dawn grea tired of him asking the questions.

Tilting her head to the side, "we'll ask the questions and you answer them or we'll torture you untill you answer" dawn said, looking at charlie who stood next to her, she could see from the corner of her eye that Berger nodded and so did charlie, suddenly argon laughed, not believing the kids who stood infront of him could torture him, "and how so you plan on torturin' me? Are you gonna tickle torture me?" Argon asked, laughing slightly as he spoke.

Dawn looked at berger and charlie with a side eye, cocking her head sideways as she looked at argon, "like what are you gonna do?" Argon asked, charlie nodded his head to berger,  berger turned on his energy wand, making lazers come out of it hitting the metal that was keeping argon in place, argon looked like he couldn't breath as berger then stopped, "dude! That was too long!" Argon said, making dawn chuckle, tilting her head to the side with a smirk on her face, she had lowered her eyes to his level, "does that feel like a tickle torture?" Dawn said.

She had now gotten back to how she normally would stand, "that thing's amazing, ya wanna sell it?" Argon asked, dawn rolled her eyes as she looked at berger who was holding the wand, "you wanna see it again?" Berger asked, getting ready to use it again on him, dawn could see the panick that had reached argons eyes, almost as if he was trying to move away from something that wasn't even happening yet, "no,no!" Argon almost begged, not wanting to feel it again.

"no, no, okay, what do you guys wanna know?" argon asked them, giving up on hiding the information they had to know, "everything!" charlie said, almost sighing as he spoke, being tired from not getting the answers that they had wanted, argon sighed as he looked at the energy source charlie was holding, "okay, that thing? that glowing thing? that thing you are holding?" argon said, dawn started to grow impatient , she had wished to be at the dance, dancing with charlie, she didn't want to dance with the other kid who had asked her to the dance, but she had wanted to dance with charlie, "the point" dawn said, sighing as she looked at the man, his head snapped to her as he saw how impatiently she was waiting, "i'm getting there!"argon answered as he sighed, trying to readjust how he was sitting. 

only to fail misserably as he couldn't really move, "that thing's highly advanced technology, it's like otherworldly technology" argon said, as he would have explained in with his hand he used his head, charlie looked down at the energy source he was holding, before looking back up, "'otherworldly' as in aliens?" charlie asked him, argon looked to his side, like he was thinking about the answer he was going to give, nodding his head once as he looked back at charlie, "yeah, that's what 'otherworldly' means, it's not from this world" argon spoke, moving his head to the side as he tried to explain it, dawn crossed her arms, slightly rolling her eyes, "it could have also been created by time- travellers, that's also 'otherworldly' because they aren't on this world yet" dawn said, trying to think of what she had just said. 

argon again looked at his side, trying to think of what dawn had just said, slightly nodding his head, not sure if her answer is correct, "sure, whatever what i'm trying to say is that it's a world builder, it created this entire place! i mean, do you think the guard built this? not without that."argon said, again moving his head as he would move his hands,  looking over at the energy source charlie was still holding, dawn looked over at it too, almost like she was trying to figure something out, "why do you want it?" berger said, slightly throwing his hands in the air, dawn nodded her head, she had wanted to ask the same question but the words wouldn't form in her head, "because i think that the guard has only unlocked a fraction of its potential" argon said, trying to think of how he should tell them. 

dawn scoffed as she looked at him, "and you wanna make weapons out of it?" dawn asked, again crossing her hands as she stood, "you know what i want it for? i wanna use it so i can solve the world's problems." argon said, nodding his head as he spoke, charlie slightly stepped forward, not enough to go to close to argon but he still stepped forward, "so why not tell that to my dad, huh?" charlie asked, dawn nodded her head as he spoke, also wanting to know the answer to his question.

"you know how many times i've been on TV asking for his help? and you know what? i got ghosted"argon said, looking at the teenagers who stood infront of him, charlie slightly nodded his head as he spoke, "i'm familiar  with the feeling" charlie said, "and your dad's being, like, so selfish right now, he just wants that technology all to himself! i wanna share it." argon said, looking at the teenagers, he mostly looked at dawn, "huh? Who's the bad guy here?" Argon said, dawn looked at her friends almost looking in disbelief, "wel in this case you" dawn said, slightly rolling her eyes, she was so unconvinced by the guy sitting in front of her.

"You guys look like smart kids- " "that's because we are" dawn said, slightly nodding her head cutting off argon who looked annoyed when he got cut off, "listen just give me the orb and i'll let you guys go"argon said, sighing as he talked, dawn shook her head looking at charlie who was already looking at her, "i wouldn't trust him" dawn said, shaking her head, charlie nodded as she spoke, knowing that he also shouldn't trust him, "no way" berger said, shaking his head at the request that argon said, "i'm giving you my word" argon said, sighing dawn let her hands fall to her side as she walked away slightly not enough to not hear the Conversation they were having.

"Hey charlie, come here" argon said to the blonde boy, making charlie walk a little closer to him, dawn sighed as she crossed her arms together, "hey man, now's your chance to be a hero, you know? Dude don't do it for me, do it for her" argon spoke, his eye went from charlie to dawn who stood there rolling her eyes as her arms were crossed, Charlie turned slightly around, looking at dawn who was now also looking at him, a smile on her face as she looked he smiled back as he turned back to argon.

"i mean, there's definitely a vibe there" argon said, smiling at charlie as he spoke, charlie smiled but as he much as he tried to hide it he couldn't, leaning forward just a bit, "you think?" Charlie asked, curiously, "there's no vibe, charlie" berger said, turning to his lower friend trying to convince charlie otherwise, argon sighed loudly, making clear that he disagrees with what berger said, "it's hot, it's too hot, it's gotten, it's uncomfortable" argon spoke, dawn rolled her eyes as she heard him speak, berger shook his head at his friend hoping to stop whatever that was going on.

"Don't listen to him" berger said, shaking his head, charlie looked at berger then at argon and then at dawn, he looked puzzled as dawn shook her head no, she wanted to make it clear to charlie that he shouldn't do this superhero thing now, he can do it later when it isn't something seriously dangerous, "this is so inconvenient i know but i have an idea" dawn said, sighing as something came up in her head, charlie looked at her, as berger nodded when he heard her, "we're listening" Berger said, nodding his head as dawn smiled at her friends.

"We have your boss, we're super tough gang of mercenaries, way tougher than you, meet us downstairs for an exxhange, losers." Charlie voiced echoed to were maya and liam walked, they both paused as they heard him speak, maya sighed as she looked down,"charlie.." maya said, almost sounding disappointed in what he was doing, liam chuckled as he heard her, shaking his head as he grabbed her hand.

"We have to keep moving may" liam said, a blush appearing on her face, with a smile to, the two began walking again, hoping to not run into any danger.

i know this is short but the movie's almost done and i really want to get to atleats 12 chapter's 🫢🫢 idk how i'm going to do that tbh

Also my motivation for this went 📉📉 because i have so many tests next week 🙁🙁

Also i kinda just scripted out maya and piam because it feels wierd thinking there would be 5 people standing infront of argon lol 🤭
