"Are you ready?"
"Absolutely not, no", Taehyung stared blankly at Namjoon who stood in front of him, adjusting the protection vest he had just put onto the boys. "Great", the older gave Taehyung an uplifting smile which the boy didn't take well at all. He sideglared Jungkook who stood there with the calmest smile on his face, having a staring contest with Seokjin who was responsible for adjusting Jungkook's protection clothing.
"Why do we even have to wear these things?", Taehyung asked anxiously, fiddling around with the pants that felt way too heavy on his thin legs. "It feels like we're going to war-"

"Just without the gun", Jin grinned from besides him and gave the boys a smirk that got Taehyung even more scared.

"What is there awaiting for us?", Taehyung asked curiously but he knew that he would not get an answer. They never got explained in detail what would go down in each room. All they knew was that they had to survive for 24 hours in each room.
Day one- this meant it was time for earth simulation.

Taehyung had always been looking forward to this day. He used to dream about how earth would look like now-, hundreds of years later since humankind left it. Room One had always been the one he was looking forward the most, but now that the day came; he didn't want to go there at all.

Maybe it was because he felt even more unsafe going there with Jungkook who was nothing like he imagined him to be like. This boy was the pure evil and Taehyung wasn't sure if he had the same goal in mind as Taehyung had.
Of course you couldn't truly die in a simulation-, well that's what they tell you. But there had been students who never came back from it. And Taehyung was pretty sure that if it depended on it, Kook would leave him there to die.
Jungkook however looked excited. Two days on this spaceship had already bored the hell out of him so going somewhere new was exciting to him.
Taehyung really forgot to give this boy a sense of emotions, he just looked blank all the time and only dangerous things made him excited in a way.

Fascinating to see, yet scary to be with.

"Try your best, you can try more than once if it fails", Namjoon assured him, trying to calm him down.
"You mean if I die. The only way to fail is if I die in there-"

"You don't really die, it just feels like it", Seokjin chuckled, "Be thankful, you'll already know the process of dying before you do it in reality."
"How calming", Taehyung grumbled under his breath and then just looked at Jungkook warningly, "If you let me die in there-, I will personally kick you off this spaceship."

"That's sexy", Jungkook replied, not intimidated at all.

"We're in this together Jungkook, we both have to survive or we won't make it through this stupid testing phase."

"It's okay, we won't die", Jungkook shrugged, unbothered.

"How can you be sure of that", Taehyung bit his lips and looked down to the ground, balancing his weight from one foot to the other. "Because I really am not so sure-"

"You created me", Jungkook said softly, "I'm sure you made me strong enough to protect us", he gave the older a wink and then grabbed his hand and intertwined their fingers.
Seokjin and Namjoon were staring at them with wide eyes, shocked by Jungkook's sudden act of comfort. All of them were sure that this boy wasn't able of positive feelings-, yet he just comforted a scared Taehyung.
"What are you looking at you ugly fuckers", Jungkook suddenly snapped and kicked Namjoon's leg harshly. Seokjin gasped, kicking Jungkook's leg now because he just hurt Namjoon but all he got for that was Jungkook punching with his fist in the elder's stomach. "Go fuck yourself", Jungkook hissed and then pulled Taehyung closer, "Can't we kick them off this ship instead?"

"I doubt we can", Taehyung sighed, squeezing Jungkook's hand, still afraid of everything that was awaiting them.

"Okay whatever", Namjoon groaned, "Take your disrespectful toy and get your ass in there."

"I'm your toy", Jungkook wiggled his brows and stepped forwards to a door that led to the simulated world. Taehyung followed him nervously, still clinging on the boy's arm.
It all happened within seconds, the door shut behind them and they went into shining light. Like you imagine dying-, just that it felt way more real.
They kept walking and soon they felt something weird underneath their feet and when they opened their eyes again, they stood in a whole other world.

"Oh my god", Taehyung squeaked out, looking at his feet, "I think this is grass!"

"Grass", Jungkook scrunched his nose and started stomping onto the ground with his feet and giggled because it wasn't as hard as the cold floor on the spaceship. "What is grass?"
"It's what grows on the ground on earth", Taehyung explained while Jungkook listened interested, leaned down and started grabbing the grass, then put it in his mouth.

"Jungkook!", Taehyung yelled out, "Don't eat that-"

"Why not, it looks like vegetables", Jungkook shrugged. "Ew", Taehyung cringed and grabbed the grass that was still hanging half out of Jungkook's mouth and pulled it out, "How can you be so smart and stupid at the same time?"
"Ask that yourself, you made me", Jungkook winked, "Daddy~"

"Don't call me that", Taehyung whined, "I'm not your Daddy. You clearly are not the way I created you."

"And on who is that? You", Jungkook poked Taehyung's cheek and then grabbed his hand again, "So what's the bad thing about this? Why should surviving be hard here?"

"I have no idea", Taehyung admitted, "I think there might be some other species living here, they could attack us. That's about it. But right now I don't even see any living soul. It's just trees and grass", the boy hummed. He had imagined earth in any other way but not in such a natural, pretty one.

"Other species", Jungkook repeated, "Like your dick?"

"Dude??", Taehyung gasped, "What's that supposed to mean?"
"It means that your dick doesn't look like other dicks. It seems to be another species too."

"You have never seen my dick", Taehyung argued, crossing his arms, "And it looks totally fine, shut up."

"I saw it", Jungkook snapped, "I undressed you when you were asleep", he shrugged, "Look at it and then dressed you again."
"You didn't"
"Right, I didn't", Jungkook sighed, "But I saw it anyway."

"You didn't see my dick", Taehyung kept arguing but Jungkook just started giggling, "I did, it's big", he winked and suddenly reached forwards to touch Taehyung's crotch but the boy jumped away and only gave Jungkook an annoyed glare. "It is big, yeah. But you still didn't see it."

"I did", Jungkook rolled his eyes, "In my dreams."
And with that he put his hand on Taehyung's ass and pushed him forwards, "Let's go around and find some species to fight with~"

"Why do you want to fight an alien if we could also make it through this place in a way easier option?", Taehyung hummed, scared of Jungkook's attitude. He really was into fighting.
"No risk, no fun", Kook explained firmly, "I want to see you scared. It's sexy."

"You have a really weird sense of attraction", Taehyung said.
"Like you and your fashion sense", Jungkook patted the older's shoulders and then stuck his tongue out to catch a bit of the fresh air, "Yummy. It tastes like air."

"Air has no taste."

"Taste it and you'll see."

"I'm not tasting the air"

Jungkook slapped Taehyung's ass, "Taste it!" And the older stuck his tongue out too and tasted a bit of air. "Tastes like air", he said unimpressed while Jungkook smiled big. "Like I said!"
He got all excited and started walking faster and faster, making his way straight into the woods. "Kook, that's such a bad idea, let's just stay outside where we can see everything."

"I'm not here to be safe", Jungkook rolled his eyes, "I'm here to have fun!"

"Actually we are here to stay safe and survive."

Jungkook looked at him as if he just had said the weirdest thing ever and then just grabbed Taehyung and pulled him behind a tree, "Is it just me or does the ground move?"
Taehyung stilled, focusing on the ground and then gulped hard.
"Fuck, the ground is-"

The ground was literally vibrating.
Taehyung bit his lips, got a hold of the tree and then just pulled Jungkook close, hugging him while they tried to hold their posture.
"What is this-"

"I don't know but I think it may be because of the underground systems-"

"What the fuck is an underground system", Jungkook whined, looking at the older in confusion. "Speak in normal words, human. Not in gibberish."

"It's where the aliens live now. It's just a speculation but we could never see some of their living places on the earth's surface, no matter how often we tried to catch a glimpse of it. This is why the scientists made the theory that they settled under the ground-, to stay hidden."

"That's fucking smart", Jungkook hummed, not even noticing how the ground stopped moving so fast. Taehyung grinned, "It is, that's why we should try not to run into an alien. They're much smarter than us."

"Well but I'm stronger", Jungkook shrugged, "I'll smash their brains like you should smash me in bed~"

"I really can't with you sometimes." Taehyung shook his head and grabbed the boy by his waist and pushed him forwards, "Let's find a place to rest and stay safe."
"You're so fucking lame", Jungkook snapped, "I can't believe I want to get fucked by a boring person."

"I'm not boring, I'm just not in the mood to die today."

"You don't even know how it is, so how can you not be in the mood for it", Kook argued.
"Because I'm in the mood for it every single day but being here with you is actually a nice distraction. Let me have it for a while, okay?"

"Mood", Kook commented and then walked along happily.

Taehyung bit his lips and allowed himself to take a longer glance at the boy. He was so pretty while doing literally nothing special. Just walking along the small path through the woods, a blunt face as always but bright sparkly eyes and his hair softly getting blown back by the wind. There even was sunlight around here, the sun had actual light, that was something Taehyung had never witnessed, always depending on the electric lights inside the ship to see something.
Jungkook looked pretty in the sunlight.
It made his skin glow, his eyes glitter and his hair shine. "Jungkook", Taehyung let out suddenly, "You look good on earth-"

"I prefer hell, but thanks", Jungkook said firmly, "In hell there's more action. You would absolutely hate it there", he giggled. "Can't wait to take you there one day."

Taehyung let out a sigh, why did he always have to say something mean or creepy?
But that might also be on of the most adorable things about this boy.
He was such a little devil, yet he made Taehyung smile in the dorkiest way.
It was the first time someone made him feel less lonely while being around him, Jungkook was maybe nothing more than a failed experiment, but right now he made Taehyung for once feel good.

And he wanted to hold onto that feeling.

Oh how much he'd love to feel this way forever.

"Stop looking at me, weirdo", Jungkook suddenly destroyed the moment Taehyung was having and just punched Taehyung's shoulder, "S-sorry", the older let out but Jungkook only rolled his eyes, "You're so fucking cringe."

"Okay, sorry", Taehyung snapped, "I didn't even say anything-"

"Yeah better don't", Jungkook said again, "I-"

The boy stopped speaking, eyes going wide at what he was seeing right behind Taehyung.
The older hadn't turned around yet, freezing in all his movements when he saw the younger's eyes going bigger and bigger, his mouth forming a gasp. "Taehyung-", he whispered, "Don't move-"

"W-why", the older asked anxiously.

"Don't move", Jungkook bit his lips, "It's bigger than I thought-"

"Jungkook! What is there-"

"Your dick", Jungkook giggled but just when Taehyung thought that the younger had just been playing around and loosened his posture, he felt something breathing down his neck.

"Oh shit", he froze again, held his breath and prayed to god to survive this very moment. Jungkook however seemed to be frozen as well, his eyes suddenly starting to gloom in a whole new way. Taehyung was sure of one thing; he did not design him that. There was no way he could change his eye color-
The boy's eyes flimmered in bright red, staring at the thing behind Taehyung's back and before the older could even realize what was happening, he smelled something burning.

"Let's go", Kook said, suddenly going back to normal and seeming fine as ever.
Taehyung dared to glance above his shoulder and just saw tingeling flames reaching up high. "Did you just set an alien on fire without doing anything but look at it-"

"I did", Jungkook grinned.

"I did not give you any of those superpowers", Taehyung said, lowkey scared of Jungkook and what he just did.

"I know", the boy winked, "I don't know if you haven't realized yet but I'm not the Jungkook you designed me to be."

"Who are you then", Taehyung gulped dryly.

"I'm your worst nightmare coming alive", Jungkook said and gave the older heart eyes, "Don't you remember me?"

And suddenly one thing was clear as the ocean;
Taehyung had seen this Jungkook before.

To be exact, he grew up seeing him everyday.
