I must have passed out because when I came to I was in a dark musty smelling room. The floor was dirt and there was no furniture. I heard a noise in the corner and my head snapped over to the sound. I could make out the figure as Kate. I felt tears well up in my eyes as I tried to crawl towards her but my ankle was shackled to a pipe coming out of the floor Kate was as well.

"Are you okay? Where did he shoot you?" I asked my voice barley above a whisper. I could see her body shaking with silent sobs. I felt like I was gonna lose it right there.

"I think he got my leg." She said through the sobs that she tried to calm down.

"I'm so sorry Kate. I can't believe I brought all this on you. I knew I shouldn't have left. I called Opie before I passed out so him and Jase should be looking for us." I said while silent tears rolled down my cheeks. I'm so stupid to think that I was passed this.

"It's okay Mer. I know you didn't think this would be happening again. It's not your fault it's your psychopath step brothers fault." She said while still whispering. I had to a green with her Kayden really went off the deep in with all this bull shit. I really wish he'd let it go. 

Later that day me and Kate we're sitting on the floor when all of the sudden the door to the room flung open. Kayden stepped into the room and he tossed us fast food bags.

"I'm gonna come back in thirty minutes and you both better be done eating then we're gonna have some fun." He said while smirking. It made me sick to my stomach thinking about what he's gonna do to us. He walked out and closed the door and locked it. We started eating I couldn't even talk about what was gonna happen. I started praying that Opie and Jase find us before anything happens.

"What are you doing?" Kate asked me while whispering.

"Praying they find us before something bad happens." I replied while thinking about a way out.

He came back about ten minutes later and unlocked my ankle. He dragged me out of the room I looked back at Kate and saw she was crying I mouthed don't worry.

He sat me in a chair and sat across from me in another chair. He pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Why must you run from me Meredith. I love you why can't you understand that?" He asked.

"Because your my step brother we can't be together It's just not right." I said my vocie barely a whisper. He slammed his head down on the table next to his chair. I jumped when he did this.

He ran a hand through his long hair and then toed his hair up. He stood up abruptly and yanked me to my feet. He dragged me down the hall to another room. He opened the door and there was a old musty bed it had yellow spots all over it and I almost gagged at the sight of it. He had me immobilized so I couldn't get him off of me. He yanked my pants down and I knew what would come next. I struggled to get him off of me but I just couldn't I wasn't as strong as I though I was. I dreaded what I heard next. It was his zipper going down and I started crying.

"Please, please, please stop Kayden you'll regret this later." I pleaded with him but his response was only a grunt. All of a sudden he was no longer on top of me I wasn't gonna question it I took this as my chance. I scrambled across the bed to pull up my pants. I looked at him but all I saw was Opie's head he was delivering punch after punch to Kayden. He stopped when Kayden was no longer moving. He snapped his head over to me and opened his arms. I crawled across the bed and wrapped my arms around his waist.

"You're safe with me babe." He whispered.
