Opie had called me earlier in the week to tell me that him and Jase would be coming down here to go to a goat sell. To say we were excited was a understatement. I know we just saw them but I miss Opie and I can tell Kate misses Jase even if she doesn't wanna admit it. They said they'd be here Monday and it was Saturday we were grocery shopping for something to feed them. We still had left over from Ms. Belle but we weren't giving them up.

"What do you think they like to eat?" Kate asked me while pushing the buggy.

"I have no idea." I said while looking through chips. I picked up chips and dip and put them in the buggy.

"Why don't you call them and ask?" Kate asked.

"Why don't you?" I asked while smirking. I knew she wanted to talk to Jase but didn't wanna call him for no reason.

"Good idea." She said while getting out her phone to call Jase. I stood around while waiting on them to get off the phone. I felt like someone was staring at me but I didn't see anyone when I looked around. Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

"Argh!" Kate let out a exasperated sigh.

"What's wrong?" I asked turning my attention back to her.

"He said 'It doesn't matter' that doesn't come close to answering my question." She said while pushing the buggy faster.

"Well I guess we could make hamburgers one night and pork chops another and order pizza one time." I said while trying to keep up with her. My short legs are gonna wear out walking with her long legged self.

Later that day we were putting up all of the groceries and talking about what we gotta do tomorrow.

"We gotta clean everything. Vacuum, clean the bathroom pick up clothes that seem to be multiplying." Kate said while shaking her head.

I got to work on my room since it was basically just box's and clothes everywhere. I've never been this messy but I've never really moved before. I was cleaning when Kate came in and asked if I wanted Chinese I nodded my head and walked into the kitchen with her.

"What you want?" She asked.

"Steamed dumplings and pork fried rice." I replied while looking at the menu. My phone started ringing I looked at it and it said restricted caller. I hit ignore and went back to my conversation with Kate. Then my phone started ringing again same caller so I picked up.

"Hello?" I answered.

"I'm coming to get you soon." He said and hung up. It was Kayden I should have known.

Kate looked at me "It was him again wasn't it?" She asked in a small voice.

"Yeah he said he was coming to get me soon. I'm scared." I said while shaking. She came around and hugged me.

"He's not gonna take you Opie and Jase are coming tomorrow no one is gonna take you love." She reassured me. I started crying I actually thought this was done and I let my guard down how could I be so stupid.

The door bell rang and I jumped. Kate soothed me and told me it was just the Chinese but she took a frying pan just in case. She came back a moment later with our food we ate in silence and then I went to shower I sat under the water and cried until I couldn't cry anymore I got out and went to bed with out crying I fell asleep a little bit later.

We were cleaning the next day waiting on Opie and Jase. All of a sudden someone was banging on the door I looked over to Kate and she ran to the kitchen to get her heaviest frying pan. They were still banging on the door and I started to get scared because Kate hasn't came back. The wood around the door started splintering. I got up and ran to my room and hid in my closet. I hoped Kate had gotten to somewhere safe. All of a sudden I heard a gun shot and a ear piercing scream. I sucked in a harsh breathe I got out my closet and looked for something to take the person down with. I got a knife I had in my room I put it in the band of my pants and walked out to the living room I peeked around the corner and saw Kate. I ran back to my room to call Opie.

"Hey babe." He answered.

"Opie someone's here and they shot Kate AHHHH." I said but was cut off when I heard another gun shot ring through the air. I felt pain and looked up and it was Kayden.
