Two and a half years later.

Today is the day I become Mrs James needless to say I am a ball of nerves. I don't know why. Jocelyn has been very helpful through the whole process as well as Opie. Kate couldn't help much because she's still getting her degree. Opie and me agreed we wanted a long engagement. I'm in the process of getting my nursing certificate so I can work at the local nursing home.

Opie and me bought a run down little house. We fixed it up so we can live in it. It's nothing big just two bedroom. I'm currently getting ready in our bedroom and Opie is outside greeting people. Jocelyn and Kate are getting ready in the spare bedroom. Jocelyn and Jacob have had a bouncing baby and he's now six months old.

I did the tradition when someone gets married about the something blue and something borrowed etc. My something old is my bouquet which you might think is weird but my bouquet is made of broaches not flowers. All of the broaches have been passed down through opie's family. Mama Belle helped me put it together.

My something borrowed is mama Belle's veil. My something blue is also my veil. Mama Belle crochet blue on the end. My something new is my shoes.

There was a knock on the door pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Opie that better not be you!" I yelled through the door.

"No sweetie he's still greeting people." Mama Belle said while coming through the door. "You are a vision Meredith!" She gushed and ran her fingers over my dress. I pulled her into a hug.

"I'm so nervous mama." I whispered.

"There's no need to be nervous love. Opie is down there waiting for you. He always will be." She said while wiping a stray tear away. She was going to walk me down the aisle since my dad had passes away. I really wish he could do this. I haven't talked to my mom since she took sides with kayden after the incident.

"Thanks for the the confident boost." I said while wiping my own eyes and praising the make up gods for waterproof mascara.

"I'm going to go greet more people but I'll be back when it's time for you to walk okay?" She asked while holding my hand. I nodded my head and she left. I closed the door behind her and sat down and the door flung open before I got comfortable. I sqealed and tried to cover my self thinking it was Opie.

"It's just me. Gah chill out." Kate said while closing the door.

"I thought you were Opie." I told her.

"I kinda figured that from all the screaming. I just need you to zip me up okay?" She asked and I nodded my head.

After I got her zipped up she left and I went to close the door but before I could a booted foot appered between the door and frame.

"Oh no you don't!" I told him sternly. He only chuckled in response.

"But babe. I've got my eyes closed." He said it sounded like he was pouting through the door.

"Promise?" I asked while peeking through the crack in the door. Sure enough he had them closed. I grabbed his hand and pulled him through the door.

"How are you sweetheart?" He asked while rubbing my arms.

"Nervous and excited." I said while looking him up and down. "You look handsome Opie." I told him.

"Thank you. You did pick it out after all." He laughed a little.

"I love you Opie." I said as I rested my head against his chest.

"I love you more babe." He and then kissed the top of my head. "I better get back out there before I slip up and look."

"Okay." I whispered. Then he left and I sat down once more and tried to relax.

A little bit later it was time and a knock came at the door. I cracked it open and looked out. It was mama so I let her in.

"Is it time already?" I asked while looking in the mirror.

"Yes it is everything looks perfect. The camera man is ready and the cake and food also made it. Mrs Sammy really out did herself." She said while rubbing my back.

"And Opie?" I asked.

"He's fine sweetheart. Looks like the happiest man in the world standing up there." She assured me.

"Okay let's go." I said while grabbing the end of my dress. We all made our way out to the barn were the ceremony was going to be. The reception was going to be held in a tent outside the barn. I pulled the veil over my face as soon as we were outside. I slid my arm through mama's and we lined up. Jocelyn was holding baby Drake while he sucked on the ring pillow.

The music started playing and we started walking. I can't say I remember much of the ceremony but I do remember opie's reaction and saying I do.

After the ceremony we walked out to the tent with my arm through opie's.

"How are you Mrs. James?" Opie asked with one of the biggest smiles I've ever seen.

"I'm on cloud nine Mr. James." I told him while mimicking the smile.

"I won't ever get tired of calling you my wife." He said while holding my bouquet so I could hold up the end of my dress.

We entered the tent and was introduced as Mr. And Mrs. James for the first time. Me and Opie made our way to the dance floor and had our first dance. It was mostly just staring at each other with goofy smiles.

Soon it was time to eat and I made it where we had one big long table so we could sit down and have a meal like a family. I looked around at all my family and thought I could get use to this southern style of life.

I just wanna say a great Almighty thank you to every single person that has read my story I'm close to 3k and I am just ecstatic. I loved writing this so much I told my mom that it was gonna be the fluffist book ever and I think I achieved it.
