[XXX]

Both the King and Queen had questionable looks on their faces the next morning as they watched their son happily take a seat at the table. It was strange because for the past couple days Jungkook had been nothing but sad, not even coming out of his room until now.

"What's the good news?"

The Prince shot his head up and gave his mom a confused glare. "Huh?"   "Well you seem very overjoyed this morning, something spectacular must've happened!" The woman backhandedly stated while taking a sip of her tea.

Something spectacular did happen Jungkook wanted to say but decided to keep it to himself. "Just woke up on the right side of the bed I suppose."

The King and Queen both began clearing their area's off once the doors to the kitchen opened indicating their meals were about to be served. The only thing different was that instead of Jimin, Taehyung was bringing out the plates.

Jungkook felt familiar butterflies in his stomach again once he saw the Sous Chef walk out, dressed in one of the outfits he bought for him. It would be an understatement to say that he looked good in Jungkook's mind.

"Taehyung?" The King questioned-stated with a calming smile on his face. The said male smiled back at the man before redirecting his attention to the Prince.

"Jimin isn't here today so I decided to serve breakfast." The black haired reassured as he first set down the King's meal, then the Queen's meal who gave him a somewhat dirty look. And last but not least he set down Jungkook's meal in front of him who gave him a playful wink.

Taehyung slightly held his face down so the others wouldn't see the sudden-dramatic blush that appeared on his face. But the Prince could see it perfectly well which boosted his happiness meter even more.

"Are you okay Taehyung?" The Queen suddenly blurted out once she noticed the said male was hanging his head low. The latter quickly brought his head back up and chuckled to himself, hoping the rosiness on his cheeks disappeared by now. "Oh nothings wrong."

"Mhhmm~" Jungkook mumbled to himself as he rested a hand on his cheek while his other hand swirled a straw around in his orange juice, a playful grin on his face.

Taehyung heard the youngers mumble which cause him to slightly kick the Prince's foot underneath the table making him giggle.

"I-I'll get going now, hope you enjoy your breakfast!" The Sous Chef joyfully exclaimed before speed walking away because he didn't want to embarrass himself even more than he already did.

"He's a sweet boy, he doesn't deserve all that's happened to him." The King stated once Taehyung was out of sight, forking a bite of bacon into his mouth afterwards.

"I think he needs to learn more manners and not flirt with our son during breakfast."

Jungkook gave his mother a startled look while his father just sighed as he continued eating. "We were not flirting mom." He stated while the Queen rolled her eyes. "Maybe you weren't, but that boy looks at you like he's a little puppy and you're his owner."

Even though his mother was obviously annoyed Jungkook couldn't help but bite his lip at the comment, it made his heart race and he thought what she said about Taehyung was adorable.

"Is there something wrong with that?" The King suddenly asked while raising his eyebrows.

Jungkook sided with his father while watching his mom do nothing besides continue eating her meal. Out of awkwardness the Prince quickly spooned up the last of his breakfast and pushed his chair out. "May I be excused?"

The King nodded while his wife said nothing and continued to eat. Sighing, the Prince shoved his hands into his pocket and walked out of the room.

She never said anything about it but Jungkook knew that his mom was homophobic. It was so obvious, whenever he used to mention a guy he found cute or wanting to marry a man she would just nod and not say anything.

But the King made a rule that the Prince could marry whichever gender he wanted to, so the Queen had no say but it was obvious she didn't support the LGBTQ+  community.

Otherwise Jungkook just shook the uncomfortable thought off and realized he didn't tell Namjoon about what happened the day before. He would never call his butler a 'friend' but he knew in the back of his mind that Namjoon was his best friend and had always been, the person he'd tell everything to.

-

Without even hesitating the Prince swung open the doors to Namjoon's room making the said male jump in surprise, causing his eyeliner that he was trying to put on to go across his nose bridge.

"That's a nice look." Jungkook teased as he made his way over to the butler who had an annoyed look on his face. "What are you putting on makeup for?"

Namjoon sighed as he took a makeup wipe and wiped it across his nose bridge. "Jin asked me out to some fancy restaurant." He spoke while looking at himself in the mirror.

"Really?!" Jungkook excitedly exclaimed. "That's great!"

"It's not great when I look like a fucking clown."

The Prince laughed to himself at Namjoon's remark. "Dude, you look great. He asked you out for a reason, I don't think he'd ask you out if you looked like a clown."

The butler sighed while putting his eyeliner back into its holder, checking his face one last time out of nervousness.

"I know.. I'm just nervous." He chuckled while standing up from his chair. "Anyways, what brings you here?"

"I have something to confess."  Namjoon crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow, assuming that the youngers confession was going to be bad since his confessions were mostly all bad.

"I kissed Taehyung."

Jungkook felt like he almost died because of how big the elders eyes widened after his confession. "You did?!"

Thinking about the moment again caused the Prince to well up with a large smile on his face along with a faint blush. It felt so addicting to kiss Taehyung when he did, he almost felt like he couldn't stop. And he just wanted it again, and again, and again.

"How did it go?" The butler asked, very curious in the matter.

The younger was probably thinking about it too hard because not only did he not hear Namjoon's question, but his eyes began to water up at the memory. Not because he was sad, but because he felt like this was the happiest moment of his life.

"H-he.."

Namjoon had never actually seen Jungkook cry while he was sober, so he already knew the Prince would be wanting a hug. Knowing this the older of the two stepped closer to the younger and wrapped him in his arms.

"He said h-he liked it." The Prince cried out in happiness. "I-I never thought I would like someone ever again after L-lucas.. but I love him so much Namjoon. He m-makes me so happy and he makes me feel like a n-normal person and not a Prince. I really really love h-him."

"I'm so happy for you Jungkook." Namjoon smiled while patting the said male on the back. "Are you going to tell him?"

Jungkook pulled back from the hug and wiped his tears away, mentally collecting himself. "I gave him a hint, I'm going to wait until he figures it out."

"You're playing him evil." The older chuckled making the Prince laugh along all while his only thoughts were about him and Taehyung, still wiping away tears that kept falling from his eyes.

"I knew it." The Queen whispered to herself as she leaned against the door to Namjoons room, cupping her ear against the wood to hear what the two were talking about.
