Today you only had half a day of work because today was the day that you were going to find out the gender of your baby.

After you got done with work you drove over to the clinic, parked your car and went in and sat down.

"F/n, L/n?" You heard a nurse say.

"Yeah, I'm coming." You said as you grabbed your purse.

The nurse lead you to the room where a doctor was waiting for you.

"Hi there Y/n, how are you feeling today?" The doctor asked you.

"I feeling pretty good." You said.

"Good, are you ready to find out the gender of your baby?" The doctor asked you.

"Yes, I'm ready." You said confidently.

"Alright, now please lift your shirt up so that I can just put this gel on you." The doctor told you.

You did as the doctor told you to do and she put some gel on your baby bump, unfortunately the gel was a bit cold.

"Hmm, everything looks to be okay." The doctor said as she looked at the ultra sound on the screen.

"Can you tell what the gender is?" You asked.

"Yes, it looks like you're having a boy, congratulations." The doctor said happily.

"So, he's healthy?" You asked the doctor nervously.

"Yes, he's one hundred percent healthy." The doctor reassured you.

"Okay, and thank you." You told the doctor as she cleaned the gel off your belly.

"You're welcome." The doctor said.

After you paid at the front desk you went to your mom's house for dinner and told her about how your appointment went and the gender of your baby.

After dinner though you drove back to your house, did your nightly routine and went to bed.
