The groundbridge closed and I looked around for the relic. I didn't find anything except a hole that looked small enough for the pod containing the relic.
Rick's pov
Me and Daryl were out searching for supplys while killing off the walkers in our way. "Hey Rick, take a look at this." Daryl said. I walked over to were he was and there was a hole. Inside the hole was a pod looking thing. I picked it up and said, " Come on, let's head back to the prison." Daryl nods his head and we set off back the way we came.
Time Skip
Daryl's pov
We were walking back to the prison when we heard gun shots. Me and Rick looked at each other and nodded. We both ran towards the shots. When we got there we saw a 14-15 year old girl shooting the walkers. There was a walker coming from the back and she didn't see them so I lifted up my crossbow and shoot the walker behind her. She killed the last zombie and looked behind her. "Huh so that's why his heat signature suddenly disappeared." She said to herself.
Y/n pov
After I was done killing the other humans I turned around because I no longer felt his heat signature. I found him offline with something in his prossesser. I turned to the side and saw two humans. I pointed my plasma pistol at the two humans and the older one stepped forward. "It's okay we mean no harm." He said.
"How do I know ya won't offline meh once I trust ya." I said. The other mech steps forward.
"Trust us we are looking for survivors to join our group." He said. "I'm Daryl and this is Rick."
"Come on we can go to our base together." Rick said. I looked at Daryl and looked at the pod in his servos.
"Give me that pod." I said as I jumped on Daryl to get it.
"Hey, hey, hey." Rick said and pulled me off Daryl. "Why do you want this so badly?"
