Soundwave pov
I looked at the tiny human laying on my chassis, curled up right above my spark, probably for the warmth my spark is giving off.
I am a little surprised that she cannot make the normal human noises.
I looked at her closely and noticed some bruises on her face.
'She's been beaten.'
For a strange reason at the thought of harm coming to my charge I became angry.
I placed one my servos over her gently, like a blanket, then fell into statsis.

Emily pov
Suddenly I sat up and coughed.
How I am able to make a coughing noise I have no idea.
But this cough would barely stop before it started up again.
I looked over at Sounders to see he was awake.
"Sorry...I didn't mean to wake you."
I coughed harder and I felt like I couldn't breathe.
"Is it alright if we walk around the ship?"
Quickly, without question, Sounders picked me up and carried me out of his room.
My cough subsided for a little then it return and was worse than ever.
I felt terrible...I'm pretty sure I have a cold of some sort...great just what I need.
"Are you alright?"
"I think I have a cold."
There was silence until I started coughing again.
Sounders began walking down the hall then he entered a room that looked kind of like a hospital...only bigger.
I looked around and saw Cherry buffing himself.
"Wow...he's um, very shiny."
Sounders made the laughing sound again.
We stood there for a little watching Cherry try to buff this spot he couldn't quite reached.
"Breakdown!" Cherry yelled.
In walked Big Blue "Yea?"
Cherry showed him the buffer, which Big Blue took and started to buff the area Cherry couldn't reach.
Suddenly my throat began to feel itchy and I coughed loud.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Cherry and Big Blue looking at us mainly me.
I continued to cough to where I was literally gasping for air.
Cherry immediately walked over to his computers and began to type something.
I couldn't really focus on anything else as I tried to breathe.
'You know this isn't the way I thought I was going to die.'
Cherry walked over with a small cube looking thingy and handed to me "Here this will help."
I nodded and when I stopped coughing, long enough, I quickly drank whatever it was that he gave me.
'That's horrible!'
I made a face "What was that?"
Sounders repeated my question.
"Just a little something to help you, I didn't say it would taste good." Cherry answered.
I frowned at him.
Big Blue just laughed.
But it worked.
In a matter of a few seconds my cough was gone and my sore throat felt better.
I made a shocked face and looked at Cherry.
"You're welcome."
I smiled at him "You know anytime you want I could give you a bath."
He looked at me.
"You know like how we build machines called car washes, but I'll wash you by hand."
"Ill have to take you up on your offer someday." Cherry said with a smile.
"I could wash you too, Big Blue."
Cherry burst out laughing.
"Its Breakdown." Big- I'm mean Breakdown said.
"Oops...sorry....and what's Cherry's name?"
Cherry stopped laughing "Its Knockout."
"Oh!" My face heated up in embarrassment.
Sounders turned, after thanking Knockout for help, then walked out of the room.
I laid down in his claw like hand and was beginning to fall asleep.

Soundwave pov
I walked down the hall after Knockout helped Emily with her terrible cough, she was falling asleep in my servo.
I walked to my room and laid back down, gently placing Emily back on my chassis above my spark, watching her curl up to the warmth.
I placed my servo over her like a blanket and fell into statsis.
