You look over at Theobald after you both grab your swimsuits to change at the pool. "So the pool is salt water I take it right?"

"I would imagine given the monsters coming here to Yokai Academy." He smirked.

"It makes sense. Though I can't wait to see what you can do in there. After all, I'm assuming that one of them is going to take a huge chunk out of us."

"Water clones."

"Coral."

"Easy Cory, don't break too many teeth."

"C'mon Theo, can't promise that one."

He chuckled. "If the chick wants to bite into me she deserves it. Right?"

"That's true. We will only find out. Stay on guard."

"I got armor. What do you got?"

"Magic in my element." He tapped his forehead.

"Fair." You nod.

The two of you get to the pool and to the locker rooms to change. Sure enough some guys followed suit with joining the none diverse swimming club. Though for the longest time the saying goes. Men are visual and women are, smart. The girls with bikinis under their uniforms and all which seemed kind of weird. Was is to have a swimsuit instead of panties under the skirt? Or some other reason. Who knows?

After heading to the locker room to change you walk out and head to the water. You look at the others around to make sure you're not in the way. That's when you had a visitor.

"Getting in?" It was Tamao the instructor.

"Yup. It's my element. Just making sure I don't bump into anyone."

"Sure thing. Care if I join? Though thank you for taking a close look at the swimming club. It's nice to have some nice boys join in."

"Thank you. One moment." You are happy to dive in and get to the bottom. The good thing about your monster power, you can hold your breath for as long as you like. The only difference between your monster form and human form was really the skin color and texture. You get to the bottom and take a look around. The salt water feels really good and there is nothing fishy underneath. As you ascend to the surface Tamao is there to greet you.

"Nice dive."

"Thank you."

"So, did you come alone?" She cooed.

"I'm with my friend Theo here who should be around. That's it."

"Any woman?"

"Nope."

"That's good. No jealously if I have you for a bit right?"

I wonder where this is going. And most likely Theo has someone giving him one on one time. Though is Ichinose really the teacher? She looks so young. "Sure thing."

"Hi there." That girl was making her move on Theo.

He saw her hug around him. Better start casting. "Hello."

"I'm Kei. It's nice to meet you. How's the water?"

"Well. I like it. Feels warm for salt water too. It's fall at Yokai but feels tropical here. I wonder how. Oh and I'm Theo."

"Well Theo let's get hands on that form." She hugged behind him.

Alright. Now all I have to do is wait once she nibbles me, gives me a scratch, or gives me a flail in golden. "Sure thing."

"I'm gentle Honey. Don't worry."

Honey huh? I don't taste sweet woman. Don't you find out. Might be painful for you. Just saying.

"Listen, Miss Ichinose, you mean well but-"

"Please. I'm Tamao Honey. And what's bothering you?" She asked with a sympathetic smile.

"I've never had a woman be so forward with me. Those eyes and all." Can fishy take the bait?

"I've had my eye on you because my eyes were the first thing you looked at. It wasn't my chest like the others. A good man is irreplaceable. A wise woman knows better." She winked at you.

"Thank you." You feel the water shifting a little. Waves under the water near your feet. You look down and see a tail. Not just any tail, but a fin on the bottom. "Wait... You're-"

"Yes Honey, don't feel too badly. I know we bring men to the water for feeding time but that's our source. We are mermaids after all. And you just have an amazing scent. It's comforting. You know, something that reminds me of the big ocean. Salty, yet sweet, and your figure is so chiseled."

"Hey now."

"Ahhh..." A male student in front of you was bitten by one of the mermaids. You say the life start to be sucked out of him. 

Sirens. We were right.

Siren mermaid. In Greek Mythology. This mermaid class allures men so they can feed on them. Been known to attract sailors so they can be rescued. Usually by their beautiful singing voice or pretending to drown. Instead of saving a pretty woman, she has her feeding and onto the next. 

"Sorry Honey." She went to munch down. In the corner of your eye you see two rows of teeth on the top and bottom. 

You were ready as you felt and heard a thud. To your right you see a big splash of water. Kei Kazuki the girl that was flirting with Theo disappeared. It was all according to plan. 

"What!? Water!?" Cried Kei.

"Afternoon." Theo was standing on the pool deck with towel around his shoulders. 

"Huh?" Tamao opened her eyes wide and stepped back. "Rock? I think I chipped a tooth."

"Ha. Why do you think they call me Cory? It's my middle name yeah, but it's what I am. I'm a coral being.  My form is made out of coral. My buddy over there who looked like he got munched is a Sea Warlock. He substituted his body with water and was able to pick a place to go within reason. So, you can't munch on us, so what now?" You smirk at her and now she has the floor. Or, pool. Or, she has the time to evaluate and talk.

"Honey..." She blushed. 

"Ain't sweet talking. The chest is hot but you aren't sweet after the eat attempt."

"MMM. Kick rocks!"

"I'm a Coral dammit."
