*First person pov*

As we were strolling through the busy streets of Death City, May lead me to a cute little shop. "This place has the best accessories!" May said with a smile on her face, opening the door. "Welcome!" A person called from the back room, and we walked in. May was right, there was a bunch of cute stuff! "This is so cute!" I said, crouching down to eye level of the display of key chains. My eyes drift over to three key chains huddled together.

"How cute!" I exclaimed, picking up the Pooh key chain and examined it. "Hey Hey, look at this! Does this look cute on me?" May said, holding up her wrist. I looked to see a cute pink bracelet, it went well with her red chinese dress!!

"Yeah!! Super cute!! It goes well with your dress!" I said, setting down the key chain as I grabbed May's wrist and examined the butterfly charm. "Come on, let's look at the rings! Are you going to buy that bracelet?" I asked May, and she nodded as she held her wrist up to her face. "Yeah, I'm going to buy it." May said, then took off the bracelet. "Well, let's go look at the rings!" I said, eager to look at them. I dragged her over to where the rings are and they were all so cute! But two caught my eye.

"These rings are so cute! Look at them! It has the DWMA symbol on it!" I said, handing one to May. "It is cute! I think I'll buy one..." May said as she slipped it on her finger and put her hand out to stare at the ring. "Same here!" I said, slipping it on my finger, and it sat there snugly. "I'm done shopping here, I'm gonna go to the check out. What are you going to do?" May said, the two items in her hand as she pulled out her wallet.

"I'm gonna look around some more, maybe at the necklaces." I said, and May nodded. "Okay, when you're done Mit, come outside. I'll be waiting." May said, then walking off to the end of the store to make a purchase. I walked over to the necklaces on the display... they were all so cute! I couldn't choose one... I kept walking observing the necklaces, but a display of necklaces caught my eyes. They were those best friend necklaces you see in stores all the time, but these were just clever! I picked up the necklace that caught my eye the most and examined it.

(I know it says 'I love you' and stuff, because it's a couple's necklace, but just pretend it says 'best friends.)

"So cute...." I murmured, taking the necklaces apart then rejoining it to a perfect fit. I put it back, then took a look at the next necklace.

"Best witches.... that's cute!" I said, looking a the crystals, they were so beautiful. I hummed happily as I set the pair of necklaces back on their place on the rack then picked up the next.

It wasn't that cute, but it was super duper cool. "I like it.... but it's not my style." I said, then putting it back on the rack. I picked up the next, and it was exactly like the other one.

"How cute! Ehehe... I guess everything I see in here is cute." I said to myself, and there was a little note on the pair. These necklaces are special. They are the ordinary mood necklaces, except you aren't reading your mood, but your best friend's and how they are feeling when you are far from each other. This is an accurate necklace that has magic sealed into it. Choose who you give it to wisely. The mood colors are:

There was a second note attached to the other necklace, and it said the same thing. I held the necklace to my body happily. I think I'm gonna buy this! Then I'll give it to my- My face drops, then held out the necklace in my hands. ...My friends aren't here.... they're all back in japan... I sighed, ready to put it back on the rack but I stopped. Wait! I can... I can give it to May... I grinned. Yeah! Even after barely a day, we're piratically besties! She wouldn't mind accepting my present! I walked towards the check out, putting it on the table. "A splendid choice young lady, who is the necklace for?" The lady asked me, and I smiled. "Of course, my best friend! Who else?" I asked, and she laughed whole heartedly. The Lady checked out my items, and I gave her the money for the items. I held the cute bag to my chest as I skipped happily out of the store. I got outside, but May was no where to be seen. "May?" I called, walking around, trying to find her. May has to be near... I walked past a alleyway, but I heard voices in it. "Maylin, you need to find a Meister, and fast." May? I ducked behind a corner, peeking around it. It was May, and she was talking to some guy. "I know already! Just give me more time..." May trailed off, looking at the ground and the guy sighed. "If you don't find a meister by winter, you will be kicked out of EAT class. And by spring in NOT class, you will be kicked out of the academy if you don't find another meister." The man said, and May grits her teeth.

"I know, I know! I just can't find a meister that I can get along with, Sid-sensei!" May yelled, and 'Sid' puts a arm on her shoulder. "What happened to Saki is not your fault... And nobody can ever replace a sweet girl like her because there will only be one of her.... Maylin, you need to move on and start all over from scratch or you'll never find another meister." This 'Sid' guy said. Maylin clenches her fist in frustration. "I know that already..." May said, and 'Sid' pats May's shoulder. "Please, try and find a meister, I'd hate to lose you as a student. Plus, I care for you... and you're clearly suffering. Now I have to go, we'll talk more about this some other time." 'Sid' said, then walking to the other end of the alleyway. "I know already..." May muttered, then starts walking out the alleyway. I panicked, and ran back over to the store, but I tripped and fell. "Mit? What are you doing?" May asked, coming around the corner seeing me on the floor. I scrambled to stand up, the bag in hand as I rubbed the back of my head. "Ahahaha nothing! Nothing! Just.... Just taking a nap!" I said, and May raised an eyebrow. "Well... okay. Do that when you get home. Now, let's go!" May said, smiling as she grabbed hand and pulled me along. I feel like I eavesdropped on something I shouldn't have...
