Asgore

Chara's POV.

"Toriel, it's really them. How is this even possible?" he gasped with tears running down his face. I got up and walked to my father who I haven't seen since I died. Quickly, I hugged him to quickly have my hug returned. Asriel joined in the group hug and my father was smiling again.

"Frisk brought back Chara when she split her soul. Doctor Alphys brought back Asriel with an artificial soul," Toriel explained.

"Frisk how could I ever repay you?" he asked while he wiped a tear off his fur.

"You don't need to repay me. Chara is my reward enough," she replied as I blushed.

"Our family is almost whole again. Toriel, I know I messed up bad underground and I had no right to do what I did. I just wish I could make it up to you. You mean a lot to me and I never lost my feelings for you. I love you Toriel and I just wish to apologize. If you no longer love me I understand," Asgore stated. Toriel started to cry and Asgore looked miserable knowing that he probably would be rejected. Instead of a reply Toriel walked over to Asgore and hugged him tightly.

"I love you too Asgore. If I was there I could have talked you out of what you were going through. I know you were grief stricken like me and instead of talking sense into you I left. I should have stuck by your side Asgore and I am sorry as well," she replied. Quickly, I walked over to put my arm around Frisk.

"Get a room Mom and Dad!" Asriel joked. They laughed and Asgore messed with Asriel's fur. Toriel got up and walked to the kitchen. She opened up the fridge and pulled out the pie she prepped earlier. Then she threw it into the oven.

"Tonight I prepped snail pie. Who knew I made it for the return of two boys who love it," Toriel giggled.

"Thank you Mom," Asriel replied.

"By the way we got another mattress, sorry if I had known about Asriel I would have ordered another," Toriel claimed.

"It's alright mom, Frisk and I prefer to share a bed. It is easier to sleep when we have no distance between us anyways," I replied.

"Oh yeah, I forgot. Distance is rough for your souls. If you would like I could order you two a king bed," she offered.

"Thank you Toriel, but we are good with the bed we have," Frisk replied.

"I understand. On a different note you guys are going to school next week. I got a job at the school nearby and I will drive you every day. Also, I made sure to talk to the school and you and Frisk will be scheduled for the same classes for safety. It's a smaller school so you two should do okay," she explained.

"Thank you miss Toriel," Frisk replied. Part of me dreaded school I never imagined that I would have to return after jumping off Mt. Ebott. Thankfully I have Frisk or I don't think I could take being in proximity with all those humans. Mom pulled out the snail pie and it was just as good as I remembered it was. It was a great meal, and when everyone was done Frisk and I cleaned up dinner.
