The next time they met, it was too embarrassing. It was exactly 3 days later. It had been 3 days to when Hoseok had quickly ran towards his best friend, he found out that there was a mini fight between 2 men.

When he had reached, the two men were hugging it out and Taehyung said that they said sorry to each other just some minutes before. Hoseok had sighed loudly and ran his hand over his hairs messing them up.

"Tae!" He whined. Taehyung looked at him weirdly, with his brows furrowed together and his nose scrunched up. Then his expression changed and he gave Hoseok the warm cup of ramen. 

"Here hyung. Eat and then we will call it a day." Taehyung said. Hoseok sulked while taking the cup ramen from Tae's hands.

At the moment, Hoseok and Taehyung were on their break. Today they had no patrol duty and Hoseok was teaching Taehyung how to do paperwork of a murder, a hit and run case and many other minor crimes. They had taken a break when the printing machine went out of ink and the maintenance people told them that it would take an hour to fix it again. So they had taken a break.

The two best friends were seated in a cozy cafe having their favorite drinks. Taehyung had ordered tea while Hoseok ordered a hot chocolate. He didn't really like coffee because it was bitter though he loved cold coffee with ice cream.

"Hyung, should we go back?" Taehyung asked. Hoseok looked away from the window and stared at Taehyung. 

"Yeah. It's been hour and a half. I think the printer would be fixed." He said. Taehyung nodded and the two males stood up.

"Hyung, will you tell me more about the case that we are working on?" Taehyung asked as he opened the cafe door for Hoseok. Hoseok thanked him and exited followed by Tae.

"Yes I will, but this will be brief as I have an important meeting to attend with the Chief of Seoul Police Department and Chief of Daegu Police department." He said. 

"Okay. What will we do tomorrow?" 

"Tomorrow I am thinking of teaching you on how to interrogate witnesses." Hoseok replied. Taehyung nodded and they walked silently towards their office.

It happened when they were passing by each other. Both of them didn't notice each other. Hoseok had gasped and flew backwards crashing on Taehyung's chest while Yoongi remained in his spot. His hand was just in the air and his other hand held his daughter's hand tightly.

Luckily Taehyung had wrapped his arms around his waist steading them before both of them would've fallen.

"Woah!" Taehyung said.

Hoseok composed himself and took a few deep breaths. He then made eye contact with Yoongi who looked at him and then at the hands on his waist. He frowned and then looked at Taehyung. Hoseok quickly stood up straight and Taehyung removed his hands from his waist.

"Hyung!" Taehyung squealed right next to Hoseok's ears who closed his eyes and laid his hand over his ears.

"Tae." He scolded. Taehyung gave him a sorry glance. But it didn't seem like a genuine apology.

"You two are soulmates!" Taehyung shouted and gasped. Hoseok sighed and nodded.

"Yeah. We met at the day when we had the patrol duty in the amusement park. But, someone couldn't control a mini fight, so we had to separate and we didn't even got to exchange our numbers or any of our personal information." Hoseok replied exaggerating on 'someone'. Taehyung rubbed the back of his neck while grinning.

"You can exchange numbers right now." He said. Yoongi quickly fished out his phone from his pants pocket and gave it to Hoseok.

"You have a boxy smile!" The little girl squealed. She went towards Taehyung and grabbed his legs. Taehyung bent down and ruffled her hairs.

"What is your name?" He asked.

"Ji-Seok but call me Ji." She said. Taehyung laughed.

"Ok Ji. I am Taehyung but you can call me Tae." He said.

"Okay." She said. Then she pecked his cheeks. While all this cuteness was going on, Yoongi and Hoseok exchanged their numbers. Now they were looking at the two of them.

"Hyung, we should go." Taehyung said and then stood up. He brought his hand forward for Yoongi to shake who instantly shook their hands.

"I am Kim Taehyung. Hobi-Hyung's best friend and also student. I hope we will get along really well."

"I am Min Yoongi and please call me Hyung because you call Hoseok hyung and I am older than him." Yoongi replied. They separated their hands and bid each other goodbye. They also gave a peck on Ji's forehead and then made their way to do their routine work.

Hoseok was internally freaking out because they met up again and they exchanged their number.

Soon, Hoseok was on his way to the meeting place with the two high positioned people. Previously, he had borrowed Taehyung's perfume and also had asked Taehyung to style his hairs because this meeting can also mean that he is getting promoted. Anything can come out of this meeting.

Hoseok parked his police car right outside Korea's most expensive hotel. Police cars were not allowed in any restaurants as people think that there is something wrong with the restaurant so Hoseok had parked his car a little away from the hotel but still in the front and had entered the hotel from the staff door.

"Oh, you must Jung Hoseok." A man said. Hoseok nodded.

"Please follow me." The man said again.

"Who are you?"

"I am a servant asked to bring Jung Hoseok in a police uniform to the two people." The man replied. Hoseok nodded and motioned with his hand to move forward.

He was led to a private booth by the servant. When he reached there, he went in a long bow and stood back up.

"Ahh... Hoseok is here!" Hoseok's chief, Ha Myung said. Hoseok smiled at him and then sat at the couch beside his chief and opposite Daegu's chief. They exchanged some greetings and then a waiter came with drinks and food.

"Oh, you ordered my favorite?" Hoseok said looking at the food. Ha Myung just laughed.

After eating the food and getting to know each other more, The two old men and Hoseok started their round of drinks.

"So, let's get to the actual reason why we are here." Ha Myung said. The other two nodded and the Chief of Daegu sighed.

"I have a request to make Officer Jung." Daegu Police's chief, Bum Jo said.

"Please don't ask me for request, give me your orders." Hoseok said and Bum Jo laughed.

"You surely are something." He replied. Hoseok smiled and took a sip of his alcoholic drink. Alcohol makes Hoseok confident.

"There is this gang that is getting out of control." He informed.

"They made their members in Daegu and my informant told me that they are shifting their whole setup to Seoul. They were responsible for some disastrous blasts on public areas and put many important factories on fire. They are also responsible for human trafficking. In these last few weeks they are silent and we are afraid that it is the silence before a storm." Bum Jo at once drank all of the content of the glass.

"Well, there should be something common in them. Like a tattoo or something." Hoseok asked.

"Yes, they do things like in movies. They wear all black, they all have a tattoo on the back of their hands and it is of a dove which have chains all around it's body. Their leader is a man and he also has an heir." He further informed.

"What do you want me to do?" Hoseok asked. At this, Ha Myung took out a file from his office bag and gave it to Hoseok. Hoseok opened it and was greeted with pictures of mutilated bodies or body parts. He hissed and then closed the file.

"I don't like seeing this stuff." Hoseok said to his boss who ignored him.

"Read this file carefully. It contains the important information that you need. It also has the number of the informant in the gang." Bum Jo then took a break.

"We want you to bring the gang down. You are very talented and you have solved many unsolvable cases in just a few days. We trust you to do this job too." Bum Jo said and then placed a hand on his shoulders. Hoseok looked at him and nodded.

Though the job is very difficult and it would take more time but he is already planning on his next steps.

"To achieve the goal, we are giving you permission to be a part of the gang but on one condition which  is that you have to keep that Taehyung kid with you. Get him to move in with you and enter the gang together." Bum Jo said. Hoseok looked at him confused.

"I can do it alone. I don't want to risk Tae's life." Hoseok said but Bum Jo shook his head.

"I know you can do it alone but if Taehyung finishes this case with flying colors then he can be the senior inspector. From this case, we will inspect Kim Taehyung's eligibility from this case" He informed.

"What about me?" Hoseok asked.

"You will be the nations hero." Bum Jo said. Hoseok smirked at that and nodded.

"Consider your work done but I want a few months." Hoseok said.

"I am giving both of you 11 months. Complete this case and achieve your rewards." He said. Hoseok then stood up with the file in his hands. He bowed at the two men.

"I will be going now." He said and then proceeded to exit the restaurant.
