The two officers kept talking and planning until the sky turned light blue and then it was soon sunny outside. When they realized that it was morning, they finally stopped brainstorming and started to wash up and get ready for the day.

Hoseok was the last one to wash up and Taehyung volunteered to make breakfast for them. When he emerged from the bedroom all cleaned and fresh ready for the day, he was greeted by Yoongi going to the living room. He had also came from his own bedroom and was in his yesterday's clothes.

Both of them nodded to each other in greeting and then made their way towards the kitchen joined with the living room silently.

"Good morning hyungs!" Taehyung said as he heard seats being pushed back and then pulled back in. He flipped the pancake on the frying pan and took it out settling it on a pile of already cooked pancakes. He turned the stove off and brought two plates of pancakes to the table.

"I didn't knew what you liked for breakfast so I just made something that is universally eaten by everyone. Everyone likes it." Taehyung said addressing Yoongi as he put the two plates in front of Hoseok and Yoongi and then went away to bring his own breakfast.

"What if I didn't like them?" Yoongi said as he reached for the butter on the table.

"Then you would be a weird human being. Like who doesn't like pancakes?" Taehyung snorted and sat in front of the two soulmates.

"Did you guys kiss and make up? Like yesterday?" Taehyung asked and both Hoseok and Yoongi froze at that. Taehyung tried to hide his smirk when he noticed Yoongi's ears getting red and Hoseok's neck getting red too.

"You guys should make up if you don't want to kiss. We do have to discuss some serious things." Taehyung said. 

"Serious things? I was thinking of leaving." Yoongi said confused.

"Hyung, aren't you curious about why we are joining the gang? Also, now you have to be apart of the gang too." Taehyung said.

"I can't get involved in this. I am a famous singer! I have a little daughter who shouldn't be exposed to these things! Find a way to get me out of this!" Yoongi said angrily.

"We know this hyung. We discussed it the whole night. Please just listen to us." Hoseok said as he looked pleadingly at Yoongi. Yoongi contemplated for a second and when he thought thoroughly, he nodded.

"Let's finish breakfast first." Yoongi muttered and the other two nodded. The rest of the breakfast went by silently.

After breakfast, the trio moved in the living room. As Hoseok and Taehyung started to arrange papers and other stuff, Yoongi -with the permission of the officers- messaged Jungkook to bring Jiseok to Hoseok's apartment instead of his house, also giving him the address.

When they all settled down, Hoseok started briefing Yoongi about the whole mission. He told him about their first mission and then all the other missions that would eventually lead into them handing the gang to the government. Yoongi listened to everything patiently asking some questions here and there.

"So that was why we were on the dock that day and you know what happened after that." Taehyung finished and Yoongi nodded deep in his thoughts.

"So what will we do now?" He asked.

"Well, we've been thinking about this the whole night and we made a very decent progress in planning our further missions. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a way that would make you get out of the situation so we made our plans with you in it."

"How will I get involved with the gang? Half a year I am out of the country for my comebacks and concerts and stuff. You should just tell Chan this and get me out of this mess. Don't forget my daughter whose safety will be threatened." Yoongi said pointing a finger at Hoseok and Taehyung.

"We decided to tell Chan that she is your neighbour's child who left her with you because she had to go on a business trip. The husband died in a car crash so he left a huge business empire behind which she manages."

"How will he believe that?" Yoongi asked.

"This is true. Your neighbour's husband died 5 years ago. Not in a car crash but because of suicide. He doesn't have a huge empire but we can pull some strings and manipulate the records." Hoseok replied.

"How will you do that?"

"Hyung, don't forget that we are police officers. Manipulating records is like opening a bottle cap. A little twist here and a turn there and voila!" Taehyung said while chuckling. Yoongi shook his head constantly repeating that it is legal and not illegal in his head.

"Now, Taehyungie will tell you about his test and then we will tell you what you have to do." Hoseok said and Yoongi nodded. All the attention shifted to Taehyung who started telling his story.

---------Tae's POV------------
[WARNING DESCRIPTIVE DISTURBING SCENES AHEAD!! Warning signs are put at the start and the end of the scene.]

Chan closed the door as we exited the office. The last thing I saw was Hobi hyung looking at me and I knew that I had to stay alert. Now I have to play my part in the whole plan. I looked at Chan and he signaled someone from behind me and the next thing I knew was that I was being blindfolded.

Then Chan put his hand on my shoulder and instructed me to walk forward. What type of a gang member is he? Like I can still hear. He should've  closed my ears too if he wanted to keep everything a secret. Anyways, Chan kept on talking about Hoseokie hyung and his soulmate and I had tuned him out as I focused on the noise in the surrounding. There was noise of many people talking among each other and as we walked forward, it became a background noise.

As we kept walking forward, we took a right turn and we stopped there. I heard a siren though it's voice dissipated soon. Then I heard a door opening and we walked inside and the door closed behind me with a slight slam. The blind fold was taken off and what I saw in front of me triggered my nausea.

There was a body laid in front of me which was cut open. The body had no head. There were some types of pipes? that were hanging out from the neck part and I knew it was the trachea and esophagus. They body was cut open from between and the skin was removed by metal clamps. It displayed the organs of the person. There was blood everywhere and there were small insects like worms roaming around the intestines.

The legs were bare of any skin and small worms were moving there too. There was a table beside the body which held what I could make out were nails. There was a jar next to the tray with the nails which held eyes which I suppose were of the person.

The sight was so overwhelming that I rushed to a corner of the room and dry wretched. Chan came behind me and tapped my back. After I finished dry puking and regained my senses I shrugged Chan off of me and stood back up.

"What is this? Why did you bring me here?" He asked keeping his tears inside his eyes.

"This was a test." Chan said and put his hands in his pocket.

"Well, did I pass?" Taehyung said crossing his arms in front of his chest trying his best to not to inhale the smell.

"Yes, you did. I also brought you here for another reason." Chan said and Taehyung kept his eye contact not speaking anything. Chan came closer to him and took out a piece of cloth from his pocket.

He wrapped his arms around his shoulder putting Taehyung's blind fold back and coming closer to his ears to whisper.

"This is what happens to the person who betrays the gang, we hunt you down from wherever you are and then do this with your body."

Taehyung internally shivered at his words. Chan licked Taehyung's ear and then pulled away from him.

Soon, they exited the horrifying room and went back to the office.
