Katie's POV
I sat down and sighed.

Rachel looked at me sadly. "Katie, you are different. Like, you actually like Travis and stuff now."

I made a face. "So what? I'm still the same and stuff."

She raised a brow. "You literally just sighed in content. But it was a lovey dovey kinda sigh. You know?"

I just nodded, not sure what to say.

Hazel came over to us. "Hey guys!"

Rachel waved. "Hi."

Piper came and literally jumped into the seat I was sitting in.

"Katie!!!"

"Uh, yes?"

"I talked to your sister, and she said she was coming back to school today!"

Rachel gasped. "Really? I haven't seen her since the end of summer."

I blanked for a second before realizing what Piper had said. "Oh yeah! My sister told me like, a week ago."

Hazel glanced up from her book. "And you didn't tell us?"

I frowned. "I don't know. I forgot. I was uh, busy I guess."

Rachel smirked. "Busy with Travis?"

I blushed furiously. "Whatever."

As if on cue, the Stoll brothers walked towards us.

Travis came over and hugged me. "Hey babe."

I smiled up to him.

Piper grinned but raised a brow. "Babe? You guys are at that phase already? Dam."

Rachel grinned and sat up straight, flipping her hair to the side. "I guess it's all thanks to moi."

Connor pouted. "Wha bout me?"

Rachel smacked him in the arm.

"I guess. But I knew it was gonna happen."

Travis smiled at me. "Uh, hey. Why're you so red?"

My cheeks, just regaining color, flushed once again.

Piper smiled. "Oh, you know. The usual, 'Oh Travis, I am so deeply in love with you' and 'I'm with you every second of the day so you forgot to tell us about your sister coming back' kind of teasing."

Connor perked up. "Your sisters coming back?"

I glanced at Rachel then back at Connor. "Yeah, Miranda is coming back today."

As if on cue, my phone buzzed.

Miranda- Hey sis. Im bouta pull up in the school. See you guys in like 5 min !

Katie- Can't wait to see you ! I can't wait to hear abt your trip from the Empire State Building !!

I put down my phone and saw everyone looking at me expectedly.

"Uh, Miranda texted. She's gonna be hear in 5 minutes."

Everyone agreed to just wait till Miranda got here, so then we could all leave as a group and go out somewhere.

I saw Connor talking with Rachel, but Rachel looked somewhat annoyed at Connor.

Like genuinely annoyed.

I gently pushed Travis away.

He pouted. "Do you not like me anymore?"

I grinned. "Maybe. But I need you to entertain Connor for a bit. I need to talk to Rachel."

"Hmph. Fine. Leave me with my lovely brother for your best friend."

I fake gasped. "Oh the horror."

Rachel walked over a few seconds later and collapsed on the ground. "Oh thank the gods."

"Why do you look so annoyed with Connor."

Rachel was blunt. "He keeps talking about Miranda and it's kinda annoying."

I couldn't hold back my grin. "Is Rachel Elizabeth Dare finally have a crush after all these years?"

Rachel simply just shrugged. "I guess. But I can tell that he and Miranda are gonna end up together."

I raised a brow. "You never know."

Rachel's face turned serious. "I know."

"Um, are you sure?"

Rachel sighed. "Don't be weird about it, but I have these visions I guess. Or dreams? I don't know. But I'm pretty sure."

"Have you told anyone else?"

Rachel looked down. "Please don't be mad, but I told Percy. And also don't be mad, but it was a little before he moved."

I was shocked. "You kept it from me all this time?"

She sighed. "In all honesty, they stopped after a while, so I didn't think much of it. But ever since this year, they've been coming back."

I frowned. "Have you told your dad, or a doctor thing?"

She shook her head. "No, and I'm not planning too."

I hugged her. "Well, who cares? I wouldn't look at you differently anyway."

She looked at me. "Uhgh. So sappy."

Connor and Travis popped out of no where.

"What's sappy?"

A feminine voice came into frame. "Maybe this reunion could be a little sappy? Like we run in slow motion in tears and have a happily ever after?"

I stood up and hugged her. "Miranda!"

She fell onto the floor, pulling me with her.

"Ouch. That was not in slow motion but okay."

I grinned. "Welcome back."

Connor looked at her. "Uh, hey Miranda."

Miranda shuffled her feet. "Hey."

I saw Rachel in the background, looking down at her feet.

"How was the ride here?"

Miranda shrugged. "It was okay. But when I was in the office, there was a new kid. I think his name was uh, Octive? Oliver? I don't know. They said he was from Jupiter High."

"Let me call Percy."

Right as Hazel pulled out her phone, Percy waltzed in, dragging his feet dramatically.

Hazel smiled fondly as if remembering a inside joke.

"You okay there Percy?"

He sounded like a 5 year old. "No."

Travis grinned. "Aww, what happened my wittle Percy?"

Percy looked like he was gonna cry. "You heard about the new kid who's transferring from Jupiter?"

I nodded.

"Well, his name is Octavian."

I raised a brow.

"And he absolutely sucks."

"How so?" Connor asked.

"Well," Percy glanced at Rachel. "Um, he's kinda bratty and stuff, but he thinks he can see the future because of visions and stuff."

He shrugged. "But I don't know. Maybe he's different."

Calypso, who had been standing there since Percy came, laughed.

"Um Percy? I don't think Octavian is capable of that."

Then, another voice entered the conversation. "Well well, are you talking about me? I didn't know that I was famous at this school too."

Percy literally whined. "Eww."

Calypso sighed. "Hello Octavian."

The guy, Octavian I presume, grinned an evil grin.

"Hello."

Wanted to post this on thanksgiving day and stuff but i kept putting it back and now, in some time zones, thanksgiving is over.

obviously i mean if you celebrate thanksgiving, if not, then all whale.

i also realized that canadians celebrate a month earlier so happy really late thanksgiving to you guys too!
