His eyes flutters open hearing the noises and feeling absence of his wife beside him. He closed his eyes tightly because of the sleep deprived but still he opens his eyes and turning himself around looks at a beauty front of him who stole his heart and sleep.

His heartbeat starts beating so fast when his gazed fell on his wife who stood front of the mirror getting ready. His fingers raised up rubbing his eyes to stop himself from falling back to sleep because he didn't wanted to risk it missing this opportunity to admire his wife when she is getting ready looking gorgeous and breathtaking early in the morning.

He couldn't resist himself wondering how fortunate and blessed he is to have Nandini in his life. He feels himself to be proud and blessed to have her as his wife. He couldn't thank enough their family for fixing their alliance otherwise he would lost this angle. His lips curves into a beautiful as he watch her who struggles tying the necklace around her neck.

He chuckles and climbing down the bed slips the slippers on and taking small steps walks towards her who wasn't aware of his presence. She was in her own trance and struggling to tie the knot of the necklace not acknowledging his presence or gaze when he laid back on bed and was admiring her.

Her breath hitched up when his cold hands wrapped around her bare waist and his breath fanning on her neck. Her body starts shivers up due to proximity and tilting her head looks at him through the mirror and found smirking while nuzzling his face.

He smirks seeing the effect he has on her and softly rubs his fingers against her waist and in husky voice whispers something into ears making her flushed.

He steps away and turning her around cupping her face placed a kiss on her forehead not wanting to make her feel comfortable by pushing any further.

He gently strokes her cheek and tucking her hair behind leans forward picking up the vermilion box and taking a pinch between his fingers he looks at her and giving her his best smile fills her hairline.

He then leans forward wiping her nose and softly pecks her nose making her heart flutters by his gesture. He looks at her and kissed her head.

Manik : good morning sunshine. Why did you wake up so early? Are you planing to go somewhere? You look mesmerising gorgeous sunshine.

Nandini : good morning Manik. I woke up early because I thought of visiting the company. I want to see the progress and see when can I possibly make launch of the company. Can I take your car?

Manik : sweetheart you never have to ask for my permission. Whatever belongs to me is truly yours. You can choose any car you want. I also have a meeting at 10am. Of course I can drop you.

Nandini smiles and tiptoes kissed his cheek making him shock but nevertheless he gains back from the shock and pulls her closer making her startled.

Manik : love. I would love to keep you like this but I have a meeting to attend. I will go and take shower. Will you please choose my office attire for today?

He pecks her head and leaves and winking at her walks past her who stood there daze. He calls her name out who turns around looking at him and heard him saying that made her flustered.

Manik : sunshine, you look so stunning that I want keep staring at you. You looking so gorgeous that my heart is pounding so fast and I feel myself drowning into your soul sunshine. My heart can't handle it.

He chuckles at her and shaking his head seeing her all flustered and avoiding his gaze went washroom and closed the door. Whereas Nandini bitting her inner cheeks and controlling her blush looks at the door and felt her cheeks heating up by his words.

Taking a deep breath and trying to not blush she turns around facing the mirror and looks at herself in the mirror and palms her face feeling so shy.

Removing her palms away from her face she composed herself and looking at herself last time walks to their closet and taking Manik's office attire out walks to bed and kept it nicely on the bed.

Keeping the bed tidy and grabbing her phone she went downstairs thinking to help Neyoinka in kitchen preparing for breakfast.

Descending downstairs holding her phone and looks at Raj who sat in there living till ruffling through news channel but what caught her attention was rumours speaking about Manik. Her eyes widened when Raj turns the tv off furiously and took his phone out and dials someone's number.

Once Raj calmed down she went him and calls his name out making Raj look at her and smiles.

Nandini: good morning dad. Why do you look angry? Are you alright? Is everything okay?

Raj : come here Gudiya. Yes, everything is okay. I just little angry seeing what people spreading out my children's life without thinking about the consequences. I will rip them apart if anyone harming my family. Where is Manik?

He placed a kiss on her head and pats her head gently making her smile who smiles seeing his concern. She didn't brought the topic knowing she heard the news where rumors were spread about Manik that was baseless true.

She was kind of expecting this from media people. Now she understood why her husband is different from what people have portrayed him.

Nandini : everything will be fine dad. Nowadays people have nothing to do that's they say anything to get attention. Manik is getting ready. He will be here.

Raj nodded his head and looks at Nandini who excusing herself went to kitchen. He looks at her as she rushed down the corridor. He promised himself to protect his family and children's lives.

His trance was broken when he heard Manik's voices. He looks at Manik who stood there looking confused and worried seeing his father like this.

Manik : what happened dad? You look lost. Did something happened? Did mom scolded you?

Raj : have you seen the news or read any articles about you Manik? People have gone crazy.

Manik : dad. How many times I have told you not pay heed to those news and articles. It never bothers me what they write about me unless it's regarding my family dad. Dad I will talk to you about this later but right now I have to rush to office. Where is Nandini? Have you seen her? Is she in the kitchen?

Raj nodded his head understanding Manik and Manik looking at his watch on his wrist calls Nandini's name out who rushed outside of the kitchen followed by Neyoinka who looks worried.

Nandini: what happened Manik? Why are you shouting? Calm down. What happened?

Manik : sunshine. I really sorry. I have to rush to office immediately. My client who were supposed to come at 10 is on their way and will be reaching within an hour. I have to go to office. Do you want me to drop you, or even you could drop me?

Neyoinka : what about breakfast Manik? Have something to eat? You can't just go like that.

Manik : I am really sorry mom but I have rush back to office. I won't afford to miss this meeting. Sunshine if you wish to stay little longer then I can take other car otherwise please drop me office.

Nandini looks at him and nodded her head turns looking at Neyoinka who understood and rushed back to kitchen while Nandini looks at him.

Nandini: I will drop you office Manik. Just give me minutes. I will quickly grab my stuffs then come.

He nodded and watched his wife running up the stairs while he sighs tapping his foot on the group and within seconds Nandini comes there and looks at him and ready to leave when Neyoinka came out of kitchen holding the tiffin box in her hand.

Neyoinka: Nandini beta. Please make sure he eats before moving to office. This is your responsibility.

Nandini: okay. I will make sure he eats it. Thank you so much mom. Come Manik let's go.

Manik shakes his head seeing his ladies teaming up against him and nodding his head at his wife rushed outside of the mansion and settles himself on the driver seat while Nandini settled beside him.

Manik starting the engine drove in full speed whereas Nandini took the tiffin and taking sandwich out looks at Manik who glances at her in between.

Nandini : Manik. I won't hear anything from you. You have to have to eat it. I promised me. Please.

Manik didn't say a word and looking at her blinks his eyes and focused back on the road. Nandini smiles and starts feeding him and in between she took few bites when Manik asked her to eat too.

They both walks out of the car and Manik placed in his hand on her cheek and strokes it softly.

Manik : please drive safely to your office and message me once you get there sunshine. I will try to finish my work before 7pm. You can pick me up then we can go out on a coffee or ice cream date.

Nandini : I will Manik. It's sounds wonderful. Now my dearest husband you should go now otherwise you will miss your meeting. I will pick you up later.

Manik smiles and nodded his head and kissing her cheek biding bye to her rushed to his office and turns looking at his wife who waves her hand at him.

He chuckle at her antics and shaking his head rushed back inside the office when he received a call from Arjun. Nandini chuckles and sitting back in the car drove to her own office which wasn't too far away from Manik's office. This what she loved the most.

Leaning back on his cabin with a big sigh and looking at the time Manik glances at his phone that was kept on the desk beside him. He picks the phone up and looks at the message by his wife.

Nandini: hello Manik. I hope you remember our ice cream date today. I am on way to pick you up. Finish up your meeting as I will be waiting for you. Don't make wait for you too long? Bye see you.

His lips curves into a beautiful smile and rubbing his neck he thought to quickly wrap his work as his wife is on the way picking him up their date.

Grabbing his phone and putting his laptop in his bag and taking his blazer and holding with his hand walks out of the cabin switching the lights off.

He roams his eyes finding Arjun who was nowhere to be found. He cursed Arjun in his head and taking his phone out dials his number while walking out of the office.

He didn't cared or paid attention on his employees who looked shocked seeing him leaving this early. Arjun answered the call within few rings and Manik told him about leaving the office and hanged up before Arjun could question him.

Shoving his phone walks to car parking and found his car parked on his spot. He smiles brightly rushed towards his car and opening the passenger side door settles himself down and looks at his wife who smiles and waves her hand and giggles lightly.

He looks at his wife who looked adorable cute dressed in his black hoodie and comfortable trousers. He wasn't expecting her in his clothes.

Nandini : hello husband. Wanna grab ice cream and stroll around the beach or you want to eat first?

Manik : hello wifey. How about none of them? I literally drying to pull you over my lap and kiss hell out of you sunshine. You look a hot meal dressed my clothes. If I were you looked this hot then i wouldn't have wasted my days at the office. Look at you.

Her cheeks rosed with blush and her heart flutters up hearing his words. He interlocked their hands and brought closer to his lips and placed a kiss on back of her head and smirks seeing her blush.

He chuckles and rolls his eyes at his wife sat beside him whereas he was driving the way to beach after grabbing the ice cream from their favourite.

It took a while Nandini to scold him for teasing her and throwing the keys out she sat on the back seat but he wasn't going have his wife sitting back so he apologized and said he won't tease her now.

Both of them holding and strolling on beach while having their ice cream and engaged in conversation roams their eyes around and felt so much relaxed and peace being there.
