All the girls sat around Nandini away from the building where the construction was taking place. They didn't stopped teasing Nandini whose face was flustered and was praying to God for Manik's arrival.

Her mind wandered off when Manik warned her but she didn't listen to him and now she bear their teasing. She tried glaring them but it seams it didn't have any effect on them like Manik's glare did.

Her trance was broke by a voice that made everyone quiet and her body shuddered. Turning her head she looks at Manik who dressed in office attire with his hands shoved in his pocket and a stern look on his face. She found him really hot in that moment.

The way he walked towards them made him so hot. She couldn't blink her eyes and felt her own burning sensation running down her body. Her eyes met his who smirks in return and she immediately looked away getting caught by him and bites her lips.

He chuckles and smirks when he noticed his not innocent fiancée gawking him without blinking her eyes. His own cheeks starts heats up. He shakes his head and chucking his thoughts way made his way towards them and found the girls teasing Nandini.

Alya : hello Manik. I didn't thought you would make it. I mean it seems your meeting is so important.

Manik rolls his eyes and glaring Alya sat next to Mukti while pecking her head softly. His eyes went to Nandini who smiles at him. He returns the smile.

Manik :diva queen you better think before speaking to me. Never underestimated the power of Manik Malthora. He never backs down from his words.

He smirks staring at Alya who rolls her eyes and cursed him under breath. He chuckles and looks at his sister who leans against on his shoulder resting her head on his head. He smiles and caressed her head softly.

Manik : what happened to my evil sister? I didn't thought she will get tired this easy. You have been sleeping whole day and still sleeping.

Mukti raised her head up and slapping his shoulder moves to Nandini and sits beside her putting her head on Nandini's shoulder and smirks looking at Manik who didn't like the way Nandini giving all her attention to Mukti and sparing glance at him.

He smiles and stood up greeting Ishita and Neyoinka who made their way at him. He hugs Neyoinka and kissed her cheek. Neyoinka smiles at him and ruffles his hair softly making him sulk.

He broke the hug and looks at his mother who looked concerned seeing her son being so drained out from the work. She cups his face and caressed it.

Neyoinka: how did the meeting go? Did you have anything to eat? Why do you tire yourself Manik?

Manik : mom! Please stop scolding me like a child. I'm grown up man now. Meeting went very well. I got the deal like always. And before you start lashing out on me about skipping my meals then I'm sorry beforehand. I didn't feel like eating and I was getting late too. I have another meeting scheduled during 3. I will have something to eat before that.

Neyoinka shook her head at Manik careless and glances at Nandini who looked worried seeing Manik. She smiles seeing Nandini's concern and knew Nandini is only the one who can bring him on right path. She had all the beliefs about them.

Manik didn't wanted to get scolded by his mother about same topic and thought escaping from this. He looks at Nandini who worried staring him. He blinks his eyes at her assuring her then roams his eyes around the place and thought of checking the company progress. He calls Nandini out softly.

Manik : mom! We will go and check on the progress of the project. We will be right back.

Neyoinka nodded her head and looks at them who looks at each other then moves forward to see the building. Their shoulder brushed against each other as they walked slowly through the corridor.

They would in between glanced at each other then immediately looked away. Manik smiles when she starts explaining how about the process of her new interior and exterior design and how she wanted

He looked so proudly and confident that Nandini will be biggest inspiration for all the new people. He stops walking and exclaimed looking at the work.

Nandini stops walking and looks at him who was staring her with so much pride and adoration. Manik smiles and leans forward cupping her face and placing his lips against on her forehead making her smile. He also smiles and steps away staring her.

Manik : I'm so proud of you Nandini. I can proudly tell the world about your incredible achievements and dedication. You are going to make us so proud.

Nandini smiles and looks at him with so much joy with tears glinting in her eyes. He got worried when he noticed tears in her eyes and brushed it against wiping the tears off and pulls her in his embrace.

He pecks her head and closed his eyes feeling so content. Nandini sniffs hugging him tightly. He broke the hug after sometime and looking around they went back to their family and friends.

Ishita : Manik beta are you going to come with us?

Manik looks at Ishita then at Nandini who was hoping he would come with them but didn't asked him because she was nervous and shy to ask him.

Mukti : yes Bhai! Will you come with us? It will be fun. I can also Cabir , Dhruv and Abhi to join us.

Neyoinka : Manik it will be good if you could come along. You can help Nandini with her shopping in that case you both will get time to be together.

Manik didn't have a heart ti refuse them but was waiting for Nandini to ask him. He wanted to know if she wants him to come otherwise he didn't want to come between the ladies shopping. He looks at her.

Now everyone looks at them and smirks knowing Manik was waiting for Nandini to ask him. Nandini starts fiddle with her fingers looking at Manik.

Nandini : what is wrong with you all? Why are you forcing him to come with us if doesn't want? Manik you don't have to come along with us. You must be a very busy person. You should go back to office.

Everyone stifled their giggle and looked so shocked not thinking Nandini would taunt Manik about his work whereas Manik chuckles seeing her trying to him intimidating him. He knew she was nervous because he could see how she was fiddling with her feelings and was scared to express her feelings.

Manik composed himself and not caring about the looks he got from them moves to Nandini and hugs her making her gasp at sudden act.

Manik: Nandini is going to come with me. Which mall are we going? You guys call follow us.

He didn't wait for their response as he broke the hug and holding Nandini's wrist took her to his car leaving the rest to burst out laughing at them.

They both are being so adorable and cute together. They couldn't help but pray and blessed their cuteness. Mukti smirks looking at her and thought of teasing him later with Cabir.

Everyone also jumped in muktis car including Ishita who called the driver to pick her car later up.

Manik opens the door and gestures Nandini to sit down. Nandini smiles and mumbling a thank you to him sits down. He closed the door and went yo his side and opening the door settles down.

Manik fastens his seatbelt and glances at Nandini who got comfortable connecting her phone to Manik's phone who smiles when she claims her right on his things. He then started the engine and drove away following Mukti's car who leaded the way.

Nandini opens the window allowing the cold breeze hitting her face. She smiles widely as she starts humming the song that was playing as she unwrapped her bun freeing her hair.

Manik smile as he admires her who looked enthral adorable and cute in that attire. He couldn't looked away because she way beautiful than anything.

He couldn't stop himself from admiring her features. His trance was broken when Nandini calls his name out. He shook his head and looks at her with a smile.

Manik : are you alright Nandini? Do you want me to stop anywhere? Are you okay? Say something Nandini? You are worrying me. Shall I stop the car?

He looked so worried and tensed when she suddenly called his name out and panic rushed down his body. Nandini looks at him and smiles seeing his concern. She blinks her eyes and placed her hand on his elbow.

Nandini : I'm alright Manik. Actually I saw Pani puri stall. We are driving through the street foods and my heart can't take any more. My heart and soul is calling me to relish them. Can we please stop and have them? Pretty please. I really want to eat it. Even you didn't eat anything since morning. Aren't you hungry. Rats are running inside my stomach.

Manik chuckles hearing and looks outside of the widow seeing people selling so many different varieties of street foods. He isn't fan of streets food but he also knows how amazing the food tastes.

Once he was forced by Mukti to try it and couldn't deny it and when he had he felt himself in other words because it tasted so amazing and delicious.

He looks at Nandini who was desperately waiting for his response. He didn't wanted to deny her but couldn't also agree because he knows it's not safe.

Manik : no Nandini. I can't allow you to have it. It's not good for your health. We can have something else but not this. Please try to understand me.

Nandini leaves his hand and turns her head away not wanting argue because his stubborn head beside him won't let her to have her first love Pani puri,

Her heart craves as she watched them driving past from the streets vendor who were selling so good foods. Her mood was spoiled by this now because she couldn't eat her favourite food.

Manik deeply sighs and tries to talk to her but she didn't even glanced at him and kept sulking dreaming about her Pani puri and other streets foods. Manik didn't knew how to pacify her.

He didn't know what to do that will make her happy. She even turns the music off and leans against the seat and folding her arms against her chest looked outside the window leaving Manik lost in his thoughts. His eyes went on her and difficult to resist her cuteness. She was behaving like a child. In fact he didn't mind her behaving like this but wasn't liking how she was ignoring him and being upset.

They didn't when noticed to a mall where everyone was waiting for them. Nandini looks at outside and unfastening the seatbelt she glances at Manik and slammed the door coming out of the car.

Manik sighs and shook his head and comes out of the car and follows who her got engaged with the girls. Everyone got divided into groups leaving Manik alone. He frowns and thought why did they ask him to join them when no one was pay attention on him. He sighs and trails behind Nandini.

Nandini was looking through and for a moment she forgot about the little argument she had with Manik the car and looks at him who already looking at her.

Manik smiles and noticed how was she admiring the bangles sets and other jewelleries. He has been taking a note how she loves her traditional jewelleries. He looks at Nandini who didn't wanted leave the sections of bangles.

She was really fascinated by the various colours of bangles and earring that looked so pretty. She looked at Manik who stood beside her and stares her.

Manik : do you like them? You want to buy it?

Nandini : no! I don't like them. I was looking.

She was angry on him and didn't wanted to tell how much she loves them. She didn't wait for his response and giving a last glance to bangles she walked away leaving him alone there.

He looks at the shopkeeper who had been watching them. He took his card out and looks at him.

Manik : can you pack all different colours of bangles set and earrings and delivery to this address.

The shopkeeper looks at Manik in shock but nevertheless he nodded his head and took the card making the payment and hand it over back to Manik.

Manik took his card and putting in his wallet walks to other shop looking for Nandini. He stops when he found her with the girls and looking at dresses section.

He went towards them and stood next to her grabbing her attention who turns around and looks at him.

Nandini: what are you doing here? Why are you following us Manik? Go stand there.

Manik : do I look like a bodyguard to you Nandini?

Their arguments caught girls attention who looks at them and frowns wondering why are they fighting.

Mukti : hold on! What happened? Why are you both fighting? What did we miss? Tell us Bhai.

Nandini : Mukti why are you asking him? I tell you? Your brother thinks so high of him. He didn't even let me have Pani puri. How is he your brother?

Mukti chuckles followed by Alya and Navya who found assume seeing them fighting over food. Manik rolls his eyes and thought no one will save him now.

Mukti : oh Bhabhi! It's okay. You don't need anyone's permission to eat pani puri. He's a very ignorant and stubborn head. He won't allow you. Why are you spoiling your mood because of him. Let me tell you a secret.

Nandini looks at Mukti who comes closer to her and whispers to her making her eyes widened and grins wider thinking about her first love.

Manik tried listening to them but his phone rang at the same time. He took his phone out and looks at the caller id. He answered the call.

Manik : hello Arjun. Yes. I'm on my way back.

He ended the call and looks at the girls who looked at him especially Nandini who threw glare at him. He chuckles and told them about him going to office.

Manik : I have return back to him office. I didn't realise how time passed so fast. Mukti tell mom.

Mukti nodded her head and he glances at Nandini before walking away but stopped when he heard Nandini's voice. He turns around and looks at her.

Nandini ran towards him and looks at him while catching her breath.

Manik : why are did you ran? You called have called me.

Nandini : I didn't want to call you. You didn't eat anything since morning. Have something before attending your meeting. I'm sorry too.

Manik smiles at her concerns and nodded his head. He then cups her face and wipes the sweat off.

Manik : why are you saying sorry Nandini?

She didn't reply but wraps her arms around his waist hugging him making smile. He hugs her back and dropped a kiss on her head. He broke the hug and looks at her while taking his card out and giving it to her. She looks at him with frown on her face.

Nandini : why are you giving me your card Manik?

Manik : take it Nandini. Don't hesitate before buying nothing. Okay.

Nandini : what if i use all the money? Will you get upset?

Manik chuckles and shakes his head because he knows she won't use at all. He very well knows her.

Manik : no! I would never get upset with you. I also know you wouldn't spend much as it's necessary. I trust you Nandini. I have full confidence in you.

She smirks and keeps the card back on his hand and walked away leaving him surprise.
