Bitting a pen and being full engrossed sketching a design she didn't notice how many hours passed. Her thoughts were broken by a phone ring.

She stops chewing the pen and starts searching for phone was nowhere to be found. She hit her head not remembering where she kept the phone.

At last when the phone stops ringing she found the phone under pile of papers along with her sketch book. She slapped her head and picks the phone.

Her eyes widen as she looks at caller id and felt her heart beating so fast. She took a deep breath and dialled his number. She waited for him to answer the phone but there was no answer. She sighs keeping the phone and going back to sketching.

Her phone rang again making her startled. This time she stopped panicking and picked the phone and looking at caller id she smiles and answered the phone only to his voice making her heart pound.

Manik : hello Nandini. I'm sorry for not answering your phone earlier, I was in meeting. I just saw your miscalled few minutes ago. I called you back but you didn't answer. Are you alright? Should I come there? Is something to be worried about? You even dropped a message wanting to speak to me urgently? Why are you not saying something? Say something.

Nandini was very touched and dumfounded by his concerns. She didn't thought her messages and calls will get him worried this much. She felt guilt.

Nandini : hello Manik. How will I speak if you don't stop talking? You didn't even give me a chance to speak. I'm sorry if my messages made you worried. I had no intention to make you worry. I wanted to you urgently about the land that uncle mentioned it.

Manik sighs on the other side when he heard her expansions and released a breath that he was holding the moment he had seen her messages and calls. He arrived to his cabin and quickly dials her number pacing himself around the cabin.

His worried increased when she didn't answer his call first time and many negatives thoughts came crossed his mind and chuckled it away he dials again praying there shouldn't be any concerning.

His thoughts were broken when he heard Nandini.

Nandini : Manik, are you okay? Why aren't you replying to me? Are you busy? Shall I call you later?

Manik sighs and slapping his head pulls the chair and sitting down looks at front with a soft smile.

Manik : no! Im not busy. We can talk. Yes I do remember about dad mentioned about the land few miles away from my office. When do you want to see? I have meeting lined up this evening and I can't really cancel it last minute. What do you suggest?

Nandini : you don't have to cancel your meeting Manik. I wanted to talk about the location. Is it good? When are you available to see? I don't mind any dates or timing is fine by me. What do you say?

Manik : from what I know and my understanding the location is really good and I have know the Owner too. It shouldn't be any problem. I will be happy whatever you decide because this your opportunity to grow and build your business. Final decision and choice should be yours. No one should force you.

Nandini : I think I will get better when I see the land.
When are you available? Any chance within few days?

Manik : I don't think I have any meeting scheduled tomorrow afternoon. How about we go and arrange a meeting with the owner tomorrow afternoon?

Nandini : yeah! That's should great. I'll meet you straight there. Will you send me the address?

Manik : I will send you address Nandini but I would suggest you not drive there because I want to see s to go together. I will pick you up from Murthy's mansion. Just be ready on time.

Nandini : why are you bothering yourself Manik? I will come there. Please don't waste your time.

Manik : I don't want to hear it Nandini. I'll pick you after ending my meeting then we will go together.

Nandini sighs and didn't argue with him because she knew she wasn't going to win against him.

Nandini : okay you win! I won't argue with you. Did you have your lunch? Why am I even asking you this because I know what the answer would be?

Manik chuckles at her and leans back on his chair and looks at Arjun who sneakily enters inside holding takeout foods. He gestures Arjun to keep the order and leave. Arjun keeping the coffee on coffee table glancing at Manik last time went out.

Manik : wow! I didn't know my would be fiancé is keeping eye on me. I feel so much honoured now.

Nandini blushed his hearing his cheek and felt beautifies running through her stomach as he teased her. She bit her inner cheeks and closing the sketch book folding her legs sat down holding a pillow her lap and flicking her pen.

Nandini : who said I was keeping my eyes on you? I was just being concerned. I heard auntie complaining to Amma about your eating habits.

Manik : should I feel embarrassed because my mother can't keep her mouth shut? What's else did you hear about me?

Nandini : why should I reveal it to you? It's secret. I won't tell you.

Manik chuckles and was about to reply her about his cabin door flings opens revealing fab 4. He cursed and got frustrated at their sudden arrival

They looked at each other and smirks before moving inside and getting comfortable seated ignoring Manik's glare that he continued to throw at them.

Cabir : wow! It's smells heaven and good. What did you order Manik? If you aren't gonna eat then I have it. I'm so hungry, you know I didn't eat my lunch.

Manik rolls his eyes and looks at Cabir who didn't bothered waiting for his approval and starts eating with stupid grin on his face whereas shook their head at him.

Nandini : hello Manik? Can you hear me? Is it fab 4? Can I talk to them? Please.

He diverts his gaze from his friends and sighs remembering he was on a call with Nandini.

Manik : hello! Yes I can you hear. Why do you want to speak to them?

Nandini : why can't I speak to them? They are my friends too. Pass the phone to them.

Manik : when did you become friends with them?

Manik questioned and thought how close did she get with his friends that too with one meeting. He shook his head and getting up from his chair moves to his friends and snacks Cabir's head before sitting next to Dhruv and putting the call on speaker.

Manik : hello Nandini. You can speak to your friends.

Fab 3 looks at Manik then at the phone including Cabir who stops eating and looks at Manik with a smirk on their faces. Manik didn't even care.

Mukti : I didn't knew we were disturbing someone. Hello Nandini Bhabhi. How are you?

Nandini : hello Mukti. I'm good. How are you? You were not disturbing us. I was going to end the call.

Alya : hello Nandini. Are you saying this because we came disturbing you both.

Nandini : hi Alya. No it's true. What are you doing?

Cabir : eating. Well I'm eating your Manik's lunch. It's really yummy but sadly I finished it all.

Everyone laughs out at Cabir including Nandini who couldn't hold her laughter but Manik didn't care about anyone's but was lost in Nandini's laughter.

Manik's trance was broken when he heard Mukti.

Mukti : guys we should official meet up now. What do you guys suggest? I really want to meet Bhabhi. I mean you will be meeting Nandini as our Bhabhi officially. When are you guys free? I'll ask Abhi too.

Alya : this is brilliant land. I can't do shopping again. It will be so much fun especially with Nandini.

Dhruv : but baby. You went on shopping yesterday.

Alya : shut up Dhruv. How can you say that?

Cabir : because it's true Alya. You guys went for shopping yesterday and because of you my wife kicked me out of my room.

Mukti : it's your fault Cabir not ours. Who told you to refuse her? She wanted to come with you but you didn't let her. You're the only to blame.

Manik : guys stop fighting and get out of my cabin. I have work to do.

Alya : Manik for once can you stop thinking about work and take a break. Mukti Nandini leave the boy alone and let's plan our day out together. These will never understood us. I'll text you guys the plan.

Nandini: okay! I'm looking forwards to this.

Mukti : me too. It's going to be interesting day. I can't wait any longer. Alya you're right leave the boys alone sulking with their own work.

Nandini chuckles grabbing Manik's attention who thought she's the reason why he allowed his friends stay in his cabin even though he hated the idea it them staying disturbing their talks.

Manik took his phone and turns the speaker off and moves to distance away from his friends.

Manik : I see someone is enjoying it very well.

Nandini : I wasn't. I'll call you later. Have your lunch. Bye take care Manik.

She brutally ended the call leaving Manik to chuckle at her antics and shaking his head went back to hhis a friends.
