Slouching on the couch leaning her head back and holding a phone in her hand thought what to do. She looked so frustrated and confused hours of thinking what to wear on their first dinner night.

Technically they were supposed to go out for lunch together but Manik's important meeting came in middle making him cancelling the phone and postponed to dinner night instead of lunch.

Nandini throwing her phone on the table having enough finally stood up and went to her closet. She opens her closet and scanned through the closet and randomly picked a dress out before heading to washroom to change.

Giggling out a loud and twirling herself walks out of washroom and made her way to dressing table. She quickly got ready and grabbing her phone rushed down the stairs only to find Ishita sitting down in living room watching tv.

Nandini : Amma, when did you come back?

Ishita turns around and looks at Nandini with a smile before her gaze turns back to the tv.

Ishita : I got home a while ago. Where are you going?

Nandini : I'm going out with Manik. How do I look Amma? Do I look okay?

Ishita looks away from the tv and looks at Nandini with a brightly smile before standing up and moving closer to her. She cups her face and kissed her head.

Ishita: you look absolutely stunning princess. But I thought the plan got cancel. You told you he couldn't take you out because of an important meeting.

Nandini smiles while recalling how he called in the afternoon and felt so guilty and disheartened cancelling the lunch plan and suggested to go out for dinner. He wanted to make her feel happy.

Nandini shaking her head and looks at Ishita who was waiting for a response.

Nandini :yeah, that's correct but Manik called up this afternoon and felt the really bag cancelling the plan and suggested dinner. I was expecting you to be at home so I didn't inform you and thought to message in the group chat. I didn't think you have checked your phone.

Ishita slaps her head realising how she didn't bother checking upon on her phone and decided to freshen up and just sit down watching tv. She looked so impressed and proud after knowing this.

Ishita: he's raised so well by Neyoinka. I'm so proud of him. How are you going to get there?

Nandini : he's is coming to pick me up.

She also blushed when ishita praised Manik and at the same time, her phone rang. She looks at the caller id and smiled showing to ishita who also smiles and felt so happy for them.

Ishita : you should go. He must be waiting for you.

Nandini nodded her head and giving a little side hit to ishita and kissing her cheek sprints out of the mansion.

Her eyes falls on Manik who stood in a distance leaning against the car with his back facing towards her and talking over there. She could hear his voices calming down into her soul.

Her cheeks turns red as she took a look at his appearance. He was wearing a suite looking hot. She looked down immediately and slapping her head and cursing in her made starts walking towards him.

Manik sensing her presence stops talking and turns his body and glanced at her who had been on his mind since they have met. He can't get her out of his mind. He couldn't blink his eyes as he stares her who made her way towards him with a brightly smile.

Manik comes out of his trance when he heard Arjun's voice. He diverts his gaze from and disconnected the call without answering Arjun turns back looking at Nandini who giggles out.

He was once was lost in her giggle. He felt his whole body being possessed by her presence. He doesn't know what the future holds for him but one think he surly knows that he won't let Nandini go away.

He can't even imagine his own life without having Nandini. He shook on those thoughts and a smile made down his lips automatically.

Nandini stops giggling and feeling his intense gaze on she blushed and bites her inner cheeks feeling whole body on fire. Nandini controls her blush and looks up only find Manik still staring her.

Her heart flutters and was filled with butterflies. She went a little closer to him and softly whispered his name to which he comes out trance and looks at her.

Manik sheepishly smiles and rubs his back of his head feeling little embarrassed whereas Nandini found it so difficult to resist his cuteness.

And seeing his red cheeks she wanted to squeeze those red cheeks of his. She mentally cursed herself having silly thoughts and looks at Manik who stuffed his hand his pocket and a smile playing on his lips.

Manik steps aside and opens the passenger side door and looks at Nandini gesturing her to sit down. Nandini smiling at him comes forward and got shocked seeing a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the seat.

She looks at the bouquet of flowers for a mere seconds and feet her heart beating so past, She was really touched by his sweets gestures and couldn't stop herself turning around and crashing into his arms.

He was taken up when she hugged him. Her arms around his waist and her head resting right below his heart that stopped beating a for second. He felt his breath hitched up. He felt her mumbling something before she broke the hug looking at him.

Nandini : thank you so much Manik. This is so kind of you. I didn't expected this. You really didn't have to do this. You don't need to feel guilty. It's wasn't your fault. This is so beautiful. Thank you Manik.

Manik comes out of his shock and a smile made down his lips as he looks at her who looked so happy receiving the flowers.

Manik : how could I not do this Nandini? I felt so bad cancelling the lunch at last minute because of a meeting and not prioritising you. I really want to apologies Nandini. I'm really sorry.

Nandini looks at him and smiles wondering how gentleman this man this and how could anyone not fall for him.

Nandini : I accepted your apologies. Now can we please make our way to restaurant. When you told me about the plan, I didn't have anything to eat. My stomach is demanding for food Manik.

He chuckles and nodding his head went to driver side and opening the door settles down. He looks at her who comfortable settled down holding the flowers in her lap and staring at the flowers so much love.

He smiles and glanced down looking at her who beautiful she looks wearing the simplest red dress with her hair open and few jewellery adored on her.

Manik clears his throat gaining her attention who looks at him with a brightly smile on her face.

Manik : you look so gorgeous Nandini.

Her cheeks heats up as she looks at him and immediately looked down staring the flowers not able to hold his strong gaze. He chuckles and fastening the seatbelt drove away to a restaurant.

Nandini : it's so pretty Manik. Thank you so much. I really love it.

Manik glanced at her and smiles before looking at the road. He rolls the window down allowing the breeze touching their skins.

Nandini: Manik, can I turn the music on?

He looks at her and nodded his head giving the permission. She grins at him and taking her phone out connected to his Bluetooth turning the music on.

Nandini starts humming the sung looking outside of the window whereas Manik would glanced in between adoring her cutes antics while singing along.

He didn't thought she would fan of his music but was honestly surprised when one of the song of his played that were on his playlist.

They arrived to restaurant and Manik parking the car immediately rushed out of the car and went to Nandini's side opening the door and forwarding his hands out. Nandini looks at him and smiles.

Placing her hand in his she comes out of the car and muttered a small to him. He smiles and starts walking towards the restaurant locking the door and still holding her hands.

Even she didn't tried to pull her hand back because she was loving all this new feelings. Her heart was bursting with so much happiness and pride.

Manik had booked a private room for their dinner. He didn't wanted to get caught by his fans or anyone else when he's is there for his own time.

He wanted his personal space away from the fans and media. He made his way and looks at manager who spotted them and escorted them to their private room.

Manik thanks the manager and looks at Nandini was awestruck seeing the interior and was admiring when Manik leans forward and whispers to her.

Manik : isn't it marvellous.

Nandini looked so shock and startled as she wasn't expected him to this closer to her. She sighs and stepped forward turns looking at him.

Nandini : indeed. It's so beautiful.

Manik smiles and pulls the chair gesturing her to sit down. Nandini smiles at him and sat down and looks at Manik who pulling his chair opposite her.

Nandini flicks the menu and got confused not knowing what to order. She sighs and looks at him.

Nandini : what are you having? This is confusing. I don't know what to order. I'm starving but this is really confused. Do you mind helping me out?

Manik placed the menu on the table and shifted little closer and looks at her with a smile when he noticed she wasn't feeling uncomfortable by his closeness.

Manik : what do you prefer eating? Do you want something light or heavy that fills you up?

Nandini : I really want something delicious and big portions of food. There is no way I'm going to have light food and starving to death. I love my food.

Manik chuckles and nodded his head understanding she is also foodie like him. He then starts explaining and suggested which she might love.

Nandini looks at him and stares him who looked so engrossed explaining every singe description of the foods. Her ears went to deaf as she adored him.

Manik stops explaining and looks at her who drooling over him. He smirks and felt his own cheeks heating up. Manik flicks his finger at her and smirks who coughed looking away.

Manik chuckles and shifting back to his seat calls the waiter and gave the order. He looks back at Nandini once the waiter left.

Manik : I'm really thrilled and curious to know what are your futures plans. I mean what do you really want to do? I heard you were in New York. What were you doing there? Don't mind me asking you?

Nandini: why would mind you Manik. You are going to be better half within in few months. Why should I fear telling you my futures. You're right, I want to open fashion company where I want to divide in two parts. I really love designing and arts. My passion is that only. I want to follow my passion and dreams. In New York I had took course on this and it's been beautiful and inspiring experience for me. Now I'm back in India and this is what I want to do.

Manik carefully listened to her futures plans and was so impressed and proud of her and acknowledged how independent and talented she is, she wants to follow her dream. He smiles brightly and blinks his eyes at her.

Their food also arrived at the same time. They starts eating while sharing their personal stories and experiences of their own children trying to know each other.

Manik was noticing every single detail of Nandini how she removing peas and other green vegetables from the food. He chuckles at her antics and continued to eat his own food.

Manik : how is the foot? do you like it? Do you want to order something else?

Nandini looks at him while chewing her food. Upon finishing the bite she replied him back.

Nandini : it's so delicious and yummy. I love it. There is so much on the table. I don't think we can finish all these. It's really too much.

Manik chuckles and looks at the table and thought they might have ordered too much food.

The dinner went smoothly amazing among both of them talking randomly knowing each other preference, hobbies and interests while laughing their heart out together.
