Hello everyone!!!!!! Thank you so much for 1.8k!!!!! I seriously can't believe it! I made the edit up there of Fitz!!! I just read Skyward by Brandon Sanderson!!!!! It was amazing!!!! I love all of Brandon Sanderson's books so much!!! I highly recommend you read Skyward! And also the Stormlight Archive because they are extremely well-written books! That are over 1000 pages long with intricate plots! They are definitely works of art! Here is Chapter 9! 

Chapter 9

Sophie's dreams were filled with alicorns and pretty boys. Lots of food and ripplefluffs. Mallowmelt. Anything delicious that she wanted to eat. She slept peacefully and calmly. Her dreams were magnificent. No more nightmares for her. Sophie sighed as she fell deeper into sleep. But Sophie's hopes of a perfect sleep were dashed... as she heard a blaring noise and buzzing coming from her Imparter. She fumbled to grab it and held it up in front of her face, squinting at it. Keefe had texted.

Keefe: Sophie... Sophie... let down your hair!

Sophie was puzzled. She didn't want to be doing this right now. Sophie wanted to sleep. She sighed and typed a message back.

Sophie: Huh

She patiently waited for Keefe to respond, and he did almost instantaneously.

Keefe: Let down your hair

Sophie groaned. She didn't even have long enough hair. What was Keefe thinking? Sophie sighed as she typed another response to him.

Sophie: I don't have long enough hair. And aren't you in bed at your house?

Keefe: Nope

Sophie gasped. Where was Keefe then? Plus, why was he bothering her this late? She really just wanted to go back to sleep. She typed a message asking where he was quickly and set her Imparter down.

Sophie: Well then... where are you?

Keefe: Your window

Sophie shrieked. What was Keefe Sencen doing at her window at this time of night and waking her up from her peaceful sleep? She had a right to know. Her emotions bubbled as she typed a message back to Keefe and sent it.

Sophie: MY WINDOW!!!!! KEEFE SENCEN!!!! WHY???? I AM TRYING TO SLEEP. BUT YOU WOKE ME UP.

Keefe: Sorry Soph... can you let me in?

Sophie scowled. How dare he interrupt her sleep!! That was not nice!!! And then to say he was sorry! No, absolutely not!

Sophie: Absolutely not

Keefe: Why not??

Sophie groaned. Keefe knew why. He shouldn't be asking her this.

Sophie: What would Grady say?

Keefe: Idk

Probably something like WHAT IS THAT BOY DOING IN YOUR ROOM!!?!?

Sophie nodded. Correcto! Maybe he still had some common sense left in him. She sent her message to him and waited for a response.

Sophie: Yes exactly that

Keefe: We'll sneak out then. Please?

Sophie gasped. Nope. He definitely did not have any common sense left. Was he crazy??! She got out of bed and gave a little scream. What was going on?

Sophie: No. First of all... why are you even here?

Keefe: Tam dared me

Sophie frowned. What exactly had Tam dared him to do? She paced around her room trying to figure out any possible dares that Tam had told Keefe to do. Waking her up? Pranking her? Putting a note on her window? Scaring her? Sophie shook her head. This was ridiculous. She was going to have to ask him. Her curiosity was getting the better of her.

Sophie: To do what?

Keefe: To come to your window and try to be let in and then bring you back to their sleepover.

Sophie stood still for a moment. Stunned. Shocked. And her first question was "Why?". They could've just let her sleep.

Sophie: Wow that's a big dare

with a lot of steps.

Keefe: Yeah...

So can you help me out?

Sophie thought for a moment. Her mind swirled with multiple ideas. Letting him in was a possibility. Going with him was a possibility, but she was still unsure. She walked around her room a little more. The pacing helped her to think.

Sophie: Maybe

Keefe: I have mallowmelt and ripplefluffs!

Sophie's eyes widened. She loved mallowmelt and ripplefluffs. Sophie grinned. She was getting those ripplefluffs and mallowmelt. Sophie let out a little squeal and typed her message back frantically.

Sophie: I'm coming!

Keefe: Yesssss!

Sophie opened the window. She didn't see Keefe though. Where was he?

Sophie: Hey the window is open

Keefe: Yeah I know. Come out.

Sophie stared at the open window. She wasn't sure about going out. Why did he want her to come out?

Sophie: Why?

Keefe: We are going to Tam's sleepover.

Tam's sleepover??? They hadn't told her about that! Sophie sighed. Why had they not included her?

Sophie: Wait who is there?

Keefe: Fitz, Biana, Tam, Linh, Dex, and me

Sophie frowned. Keefe wasn't there right now. He was here. Everyone was there except for Sophie and Keefe. Sophie paced her room a little, unsure what to do.

Sophie: not at the moment though

Keefe: huh?

Sophie was a little astonished. He should've realized what she meant. But oh well... she would explain. Sophie laughed and plopped onto her bed.

Sophie: You're not there right now.

Keefe: uhhuh

Sophie smiled. This was fun for her, but at the same time not fun. She wasn't sure exactly what Keefe's dare was, and that had been bothering her. Was he really supposed to come get her? Or... was there another motive or additional point to the dare? She sighed and knew there was one thing left to do. Text Biana.

Sophie: Hey

Biana: Hey

Sophie gave a little shout of hooray. Biana had replied. Sophie needed help desperately.

Sophie: What is Keefe's dare exactly?

Biana: You

Sophie was flabbergasted. What did she have to do exactly with the dare? This whole mess was utterly confusing. Sophie wrung her hands and texted Biana again.

Sophie: Doing what exactly with me?

Biana: Tam dared Keefe to come and kiss you.

Sophie's mouth opened. She was shocked. Keefe was supposed to kiss her. She tried to think it through, but it was too much. Sophie stood in the middle of her room still as a statue, a little afraid to move.

Sophie: Kiss me???

Biana: Yeah

Sophie wasn't sure now, but she knew the best thing to say was to agree and show Biana that she was content. Where was Keefe anyway?

Sophie: Well ok

Biana: Has he done it yet?

Sophie thought for a moment. He hadn't. He wasn't even in the room. Blonde hair glowed in the darkness of her room that was moonlit. A figure walked forward. "Keefe?" Sophie said uncertainly.

"Sophie..." the figure said. It was Keefe for sure.

Sophie quickly typed and sent her message to Biana.

Sophie: Noooo

Biana: Is he standing beside you?

Sophie looked at Keefe. His intense gaze seemed to burn and sizzle Sophie's emotions. Her mind was whirling with thoughts and ideas. She stood dangerously still and didn't move except to send Biana another message.

Sophie: Yeah.

He just came in.

Biana: What is he doing?

Keefe walked closer to her and whispered, "Sophie... I told you to come with me."

Sophie smiled weakly. "I can't... I was sleeping and I need to go back to sleep and tomorrow is a big day," she rambled.

"Oh, Sophie!" Keefe said with a intense look in his eyes. "You need to have fun sometimes. Take chances! Stretch your comfort zone!" His gaze turned softer. "I want you to! I need you to!"

Sophie sighed. "Keefe..."

"Don't Keefe me, Sophie. I will be there every step of the way. I will help you," Keefe said with a sad smile. "I want you to be happy!"

Sophie turned away from him, but Keefe grabbed her by the shoulders and pressed his lips to hers. Warmth spread through Sophie as Keefe pulled her closer. She pulled back. "I know it was a dare," Sophie said breathlessly.

Keefe sighed. "You weren't supposed to..." he said as he wrapped her arms a little tighter around her and buried his head in her hair.

Sophie gasped. "I sent Biana a bunch of random letters!" Sophie wondered what Biana was thinking now.

"So Biana told you?" Keefe said. "I sort of guessed that you were texting someone about the whole date when I saw your Imparter in your hands."

Sophie nodded. "Yep," she told him as she looked down at her Imparter.

Sophie: bakiabaisnsggwhqosjhshwbwihsgsuabwuw behsyabeiejbwuwjwiwjbwhanaisnbw

Biana: OH MY GOSH!!! SOPHIE!!! DID HE DO IT??

Sophie showed Keefe her Imparter. He grinned mischievously. "Tell her one sec or something..." Keefe said trailing off and pulling Sophie closer to him.

Sophie: One sec... a fat sec

Biana: Fine. Wait, so did he? Or is he kissing you right now?

Keefe fingered Sophie's hair and leaned in closer to Sophie and kissed her again. Sophie kissed him back and wound her arms around his neck. They stood there for a little, but Sophie pulled away to text Biana. Her Imparter had been buzzing a lot.

"She is going to guess anyway," Sophie told Keefe with a smile.

Keefe laughed. "You are naughty!" he replied.

Sophie: Maybe

Keefe kissed her once more as Sophie felt her Imparter buzz again. Sophie felt as if she were floating. Keefe pulled her around in a circle. They spun around in the middle of the room. Sophie and Keefe laughed with wide grins spreading on their faces. Keefe looked Sophie in the eyes. "I think it's time," he told her.

"Time for what?" Sophie asked.

"A leap," Keefe said. Sophie stared at Keefe's ice-blue eyes which sparkled with mischief. Sophie finally knew what to do. She was ready.

"Lets go," Sophie responded. Keefe grinned and pulled her to her window. He held his pathfinder out to the night sky. A bright ray of light appeared and whisked them to their next destination.

Biana: I KNEW IT
