Magnus pov....

It's been ten years since I last saw the small Pup.
There is no night that will pass without me thinking about him.

He had drove me crazy!

This can't be normal!
So I went to my friend
Ragnor.
He is older than me so he must know something extra.

Tok tok Tok.

"Come in."

" Ragnor I have a problem."
I said and sat down.

"Nice to see you too."
Said jokingly and sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes and he chuckled.

" So tell me what is the problem?"

" Do you remember the day I send Camille to Edom."

His smile faded away and looked at me serious.
" Yea"

" After that I went for a walk. I was walking while thinking and kinda past the barriers without realizing it. "

" WHAT!? Magnus we have a war! You can't be that careless!"

"Let me finish! You can scol me later."

" So when I finally realized where I was and was about to leave, I heard some noises."

"What kind of noises?"

" Pup noises."

".... Excuse me what?"
Said Ragnor with a raised eyebrow.

" Pup. Noises. It was a Pup wolf, actually a Pup werewolf "

".... Okey...."

" The moment I saw the Pup I calmed down imadietly."

He looked me confused and surprised .

" It was so weard, I could even smell him -"

" Him? "

"... Yea him."

" How do you know it is He and not she ? "

".... I looked.... "

"...... "

".... "

" Please continue what you where saying. " said Ragnor.

" Anyways, I was able to smell him. Which isnt normal. Right?  "

" Anything else?"

" I also felt a connection towards him."

" What was he doing? "

"He would sniff me nonstop and he also snagle his head on my chest."
Magnus smiled at the memory it was adorable, he was adorable.

Ragnor looked socked.
" Then what happened?"

" His mom appeared and took him."

After a minute of silence Ragnor said.
"I think I know what's happening to you."

I looked at him surprised. I mean I did went to him for help but I didn't expect him to actually know what was happening to me.

" So. You felt a connection when you saw him, you could smell his scent, you also had some protective feelings/ thoughts for him, didnt  you?"

I was surprised to hear that. How did he know?

I nodded.

Then he smiled.
" You told me that he also wouldn't stop sniffing you? "

I nodded.

" Well my dear friend. I think that you have found your soul mate. "

I blinked three times when I finally said.
"..... I don't think I heard correctly."

"You heard me correctly my friend."

"....."
I was trying to proses what I just heard.

Ragnor sigh.
" Let me explain my friend, werewolves have something that is called Mating.
That is when a werewolve find their mate, or simply soulmate."

" But I am not - "

" Some werewolves can be mates with other spices too. They are very rare though."

I was speechless.
Then I remembered how the Pup was looking at me while he was taken away by his mother . I didn't understand that look back then nor now. What did he wanted?
Did he wanted to be taken by me?

My thoughts were interapted by Ragnor.

" So, is he an Alpha, beta or omega?"

I have never heard this words.

"...... I... don't know..... "

" That can't be good."

"Why?"

He started explaining the categorys and other stuff, I have to admit that I don't have any knowledge about  werewolves  .
I had so many emotions right now.
I couldn't focus.

Then Ragnor paused and looked at me with a sad smile.
" I am sorry Magnus.... Fate isnt always nice."

"What do you mean?"
I said confused.

" Magnus, I don't think that there is a need for you to learn all this mate stuff"

"Why would you say that?"
I didn't understand why I wouldn't.       I have a mate after all.

" Magnus, he is our enemy... Even if you both wanted each other you wouldn't be together. You wouldn't be able to."

" I don't see what is stopping me."
I

said with a little bit of anger.

" A war, is stopping you..... And it doesn't look like it will stop any time soon. "

I felt furious.
I needed to go for a walk.
So I strand up thanked Ragnor and left.

I went back at the castle that I was ten years ago. After I met the Pup I had the hope that he will come back to me. And that's why I ended up buying the castle.

To be closer to where we met.

I still am not the leader.
The worlock council has been begging me the past five years to be the new leader but I would always tell them that I need time.
Vampires didn't take Camille's disappearance lightly.
They were same vampires that attacked Worlocks and same Worlocks that attacked Vampires.
But they are still alliance and thats what its stopping them from reping each others throughts out. Now the leader of the vampires is the vampire council.

I would say that I am lonely but I am not. You see I don't live in this castle alone. I live with Caterina, who helps me take care of Madzie.
There is also Simon, one of Camille's victims that I promised to help out . And Raphael one of my closest friends .

I went straight to my office.
The worlock council had send me another message.
And once again they were begging me.
Sigh....

Then I looked outside the window.
It was snowing.
I started thinking Ragnor's words.

"You cant be together"

" You are enemies."

.
.

I started getting angry.

If there is one person that can make me happy I will go find him and take him. And if someone stands on my way I will make sure myself to get rid of him.

I sigh. I need to calm down.
I sat down to write a response to the worlock council when the door slammed opened.

It was Caterina. She looked out of breath and scared.

" Catherina what's going on, are you Okey?" I said and started walking towards her.

" Madzie... She asked me.... If she can play outside but hasn't came back!"
She said while trying to catch her breath.

" Calm down. When was the last time you saw her? "

" Yesterday evening! She asked me if she can play outside and I said yes but only if she has an adult looking after her so Simon went outside to play with her . I saw Simon yesterday night and thought that if Simon is here Madzie must also be here.
Then this morning I couldn't find Madzie so I went to Simon to ask if he knew where she was and he said that he didn't. He also said that yesterday evening Madzie went to find me. She never come to me Magnus! All morning me, Simon and Raphael have been looking for her with no successes. We can't find her! "
Said Caterina and seemed like she was about to cry.

That was serious. I imadietly used my powers to track her. She wasnt at the castle.... Then were is she?

Then Simon appeared.
" Magnus quick the enemy is coming!"

" what!? "
I

said socked and the same time angry.
Couldn't they attack any other time!?

Simon was panicking and started saying something about a wolf, Enemy, barriers.... And Madzie?

Then Raphael appeared with his vampire speed. He closed Simon's mouth and said.
"There is a black wolf who has passed the barrier and has Madzie on his back. A werewolve to be excact, who is now heading at the enterens of the castle." Said calm and clear.

I looked at Caterina who was looking at me. I made a portal for all of us to enter.

We were right in front of the castle enterens. And soon enough we saw a big black wolf running in surprisingly high speed towards us . He also had Madzie on his back.

What going on!?
