Mom and I finally reached the village.
Mom transformed into her human form and so did I.
She looked at me and I her.
She looked like she was about to cry.

"Did he smell nice to you?"

I nodded.

" Did you felt safe with him?"

I once again nodded.

She looked sad and scared. Then she holded my hand tight.

" Everything is going to be Okey."

I didn't know what she meant but it didn't sound good.

She was holding my hand and was  walking towards the office.
The bigest wooden building in the whole village .
I go there only when mom is there or when dad punish me.
Mom is complicated. She is nice and kind sometimes  and other times she is cold .

She looked scared now.
Although I am only seven I wanted to protect her. But I am not strong enough.

We walked in and headed at dad's office.

She left me outside the office and she went in.

I could hear them talking but not very clearly.

Then they started yelling.
I still couldn't hear them clearly, so I went closer.

" WHAT DO YOU MEAN HIS MATE IS A WORLOCK!?"
Dad screamed at my mom.

Wait... Mate? He is my mate?
You are suppose to find your mate at the age of 18, at least this is what they told me.

"AND WHO IS THE WORLOCK?!?! IF I MAY ASK!"

Although mom said his name with low voice I heard it.
Magnus Bane.... It's like music to my ears.... Magnus Bane. Magnus Bane.

" YOU MUST BE KIDDING ME!!
I WON'T ALLOW SUCH A THING!!!"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WONT ALLOW IT!? HE IS ALEC'S MATE!!
NO WEREWOLVE WILL FIND HAPPINESS WITHOUT THEIR MATE!!"

I won't find happiness?
But... I want to be happy... I want to be by his side. Am I asking too much?

"MARYSE!!!! HE IS A WORLOCK!!! WE ARE ENEMIES!!!"

" FOR GOODNESS SAKE ROBERT!

"NO! ALEC IS NOT MY CHILD! HE IS A DISAPPOINTMENT!"

I knew dad didn't like me... But that hurt. I felt tears rolling down my chicks.

"WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!?"

" Alec will never be the leader of this pack!"

"why?! You can see that he is born to be a leader!"

"I don't care! Jace is much better fighter and he is more likeable to the village."

" Robert.... You discast me..."

I heard a slap noise. Dad must have heated mom.
That's it! I had enough!

I opened the door and went in front of mom.
" Don't hurt mom! "

" You little shit! "

Then he grabbed me roughly by my arm.

I hissed in pain.
He dragged me at a secret room he has at his office. There is where he punish me.
As he was closing the metalic door I could hear mom begging him to let me go.

The room was dark. There were no windows, only one lump that was ready to break at any moment.
There was a chair in the middle and chains at the walls.

Dad through me to the ground and took a whip from the torture table and started hitting me with it.

It was painful. Then he started scream at me.

"YOU ARE USELESS"

"YOU WILL NEVER BE AN ALPHA"

"IF I SEE YOU AGAIN WITH THAT WORLOCK I WILL TORTURE YOU UNTIL YOU DIE!"

"I AM ASAMED THAT YOU ARE MY SON!"

"IT WILL BE EASIER IF YOU KILLED YOURSELF!"

"NEXT TIME YOU WILL DO SOMETHING BAD I WILL TORTURE YOUR MOTHER AS WELL!!!"

I just stayed there accepting the beating. I cryed until I had no tears left. I screamed in pain until I couldnt speak anymore .

Sometimes I wish that everything would end.

The only thing keeping me to this world is my siblings, my mom and Magnus.

I woke up alone in the cold room.
I must have fainted after all this beating.

I felt pain at my whole body.
I couldn't move.
My mind went at the moment when I was looking Magnus desperately to take me with him. To save me.

What would have happen if he did take me.... Why didn't he take me?
Did he not wanted me as his mate?
Did he hated me?

I don't know how much time had passed when I finally got up.

I start walking up the stairs when I heard Robert.

" This file is going to be the death of me"

What was he talking about?
I opened the door enough for me to take a glance at the file.

Then he got up and started heading at my direction.
I had not time I rushed back down and layed down. I pretended to be sleeping.

I heard him walk in.
I opened one of my eyes.
He was now walking at the table with the torture weapons while holding the file.
He was about to turn to me so I quickly close my eye.

I heard some noises from the table and then he walked towards me.
He grabbed me by the neck and thrown me at the wall.

I gasped in pain.
" Do you think that I wouldn't notice that you weren't sleeping? You were shaking like a fish out of the water."

I am scared....

" Go out of my office before I punish you again!"

Without second thought I was ready to go when he said.

"How long have you been pretending to be sleeping?"

" I-I... When I heard the door open."

" I see."

And with that I left. I noticed before I left that he wasnt holding the file anymore.
He seemed that he believed me.
What kind of file is that?
The death of him?

I didn't think much about it and just ran. I wanted to berry myself at his chest ....But I couldn't. I must kill the dream that I will wake up one day and  find him beside me.

The next person I want right now to protect me is mom.

I run inside  my house where I saw mom crying. She saw me and ran towards me. We huged each other tight.
I could see Izy and Jace crying as well.
Then mom opened her arms for them to join as well.

They rushed towards me and hugged me.
I was the one dad will torture all the time, even if it wasnt my fault he will torture me.

We stayed like that for some time. It was relaxing but... I still wanted him to hold me. To tell me " I will protect you." No one has said that to me, not even mom. She trys though.

I gave up on the thought of me and him being together, but deep down I still had hope.
