Lev watched Yaku leave the gym and sighed deeply, he was so deep in thought that he didn't see the ball that was coming right at him until it hit him full on in the face and knocked him off his feet.

"Lev, you fucking idiot what are you doing?" Kuroo asked. "Leave him alone"Hinata shouted as he and Akaashi ran towards the tall boy with the medical kit in his hand. They managed to get him up on his feet and then over to a chair while they cleaned him up.

Hinata and Kageyama decided to take the grey haired boy outside to get some fresh air but not before Hinata shouted at the Nekoma captain, "Kuroo, you're a meanie", whilst sticking his tongue out at him. "Come on boke, let's make sure Lev is ok because he still looks really dazed". They managed to find a picnic table at the edge of the grounds and sat and talked for a while.

"Lev, can I ask you something", Hinata asked. "Yeah, what's up", he answered. The small boy looked worried, "you really haven't seemed yourself lately, you look sad all of the time. What's wrong?" "It's really embarrassing, I don't think I can tell you" he replied. "Look, Lev I know that you don't know me very well but Shoyo can be trusted with anything, he wouldn't judge any of his friends and would do anything for them and believe it or not you're one of his friends".

Hinata looked like he was going to cry, he grabbed Kageyama in a tight embrace, "Thank you Kags that's the nicest thing anyone has ever said about me" he stood on his tip toes and kissed the dark haired boy gently.

Lev groaned, "see, that's what I want", "I'm sorry Lev but there is no way that I'm letting you kiss my baby tangerine", Kageyama said sternly. "I don't mean that, no offence Hinata you're cute but I'm in love with someone who obviously hates me. My life is miserable".

"Who do you like Lev? Is it someone that I know?" the small boy asked, "are they here? "If I tell you you've got to promise that you'll keep it a secret" "Ok", the Karasuno boys replied.

"It's Yaku san" Lev said glumly looking at the ground and then they heard hysterical laughter and turned to see Kenma laughing. No one had noticed him quietly sitting on a bench a little further back from them. "Oh my God Lev what are you thinking. He shouts at you, hits you and calls you lazy. You're in love with the Demon Senpai from Nekoma, ha ha".

"Kenma, you're my friend but that was really cruel, you didn't have to say that to him, he's hurting and a I thought better of you. Come on Lev", Hinata was just about to grab the tall boy and get him away from his cruel team mates when he heard someone angrily snap at Kenma.

"Kenma, don't you dare speak to him like that". Lev spun around and saw that the voice was coming from none other than the object of his affection, Yaku, who had heard everything that Kenma had said to the first year and had realised just how upset the tall beautiful boy was.

"Lev", the Nekoma libero said quietly holding his hand out to his junior, "can we go and talk alone". "Yes Yaku san", the boy replied and they walked away with their hands intertwined. Yaku mouthed 'thank you' to Hinata and Kageyama.

They boys managed to find a quiet spot and sat together on the grass. Lev's face was crimson and no matter how he tried he couldn't look the smaller boy in the eye. Yaku gently grasped Levs chin with his index finger and thumb and lifted his face so that they were looking in each other's eyes. "Lev, you can look at me, I won't bite".

The taller boy eventually looked into Yaku's eyes, the libero was completely lost in his sparkling green eyes, the boy took his breath away and he thought that it was about time that he manned up and confessed to the first year.

"Hey, how can someone as beautiful and sweet like you fall for a bad tempered bully like me". "Yaku san, I don't think of you like that. You're amazing, you just try to motivate me and make me better but I find it hard to breathe when you're around". Yaku couldn't hold it in any longer and he leant forward and gently kissed the grey haired boy. When they pulled away Lev just said, " Wow, I forgot to breathe, for a minute" Yaku blushed profusely and asked, "would you like to see where this goes and be my boyfriend".

Lev smiled brighter than he ever had before, "yes Yaku san I would love to.
